BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
[b]BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
So, Beck was kicked, was he? Bastille couldn't say he particularly cared, frankly. He'd never liked the fucked up little ghost, personally, and in fact had been reluctant to ally with the swamp fuckers because of Beck. The rest of the group didn't seem to be as bad, which was vaguely disappointing (Bast had felt almost bad hating them collective when it turned out Beck was just the bad apple), so with this interesting turn of events... Well. Bast was torn. On one hand, they barely ever interacted with Tangle and he'd forged the alliance out of obligation to Starry's last wishes. On the other, with Beck gone, may there was no need for opposition.

It seemed the fastest way to figure out what to do about them was to fucking visit Morgan, which sounded less than ideal. If he could avoid the politics, he'd be a much happier individual, but here he was... waiting in the middle of their little swamp village for the commander.

Indeed, Morgan had not seen anyone from the Ascendants in quite some time. Tanglewood in general had been isolated for much of the time that he was there; his personal trip with Vigenere had been one of the only times that he had seen the world outside of the swamp. After such a long time, even his dislike of the pirates in the Typhoon was beginning to wane. He wondered if, now that he was Commander, he could change things to reflect these feelings. His answer had come in the form of Bastille, who he spotted right in the middle of town during his usual rounds.

"Hello Bastille," he barked, trotting over to the feline with a surprised expression. "What brings you here today?" He figured that the recent news had made it to other groups, but he still hoped for some sort of confirmation. "Oh, and do you need anything? Like food or water?"

Re: STAY DANGEROUS | morgan - madster - 08-09-2018

malphas was loyal to his clan, and his clan alone. he believed tanglewood could thrive on its own- they were strong enough to not really need allies, but he knew his opinion was unpopular. still, ever since the leader change, malphas had found himself questioning his beliefs- he wasn't loyal to beck now, he was morgan's pet. as such, he had been alongside him when morgan padded over to the... was that the ascendants leader? suddenly, malphas was put on edge. he had actually never met a leader of a clan before- well, except for sola, but that didn't count, the rosebloods weren't really a real clan.

he heard morgan being polite as ever and resisted the urge to roll his eyes, but was pretty impressed by how diplomatic the dog was. "i can get it," he said quietly to morgan, in case bastille needed something- morgan needed to stay and do the talking. however, he stood by the side of morgan, narrowing crimson eyes, also wanting to protect his new leader.
