FRIEND OR FOE? ¤¤ Wash - Seina - 08-08-2018 Inu had only been here some few days by now but had still not really explored much of anything around this place. He had just been so tired so had sleept through most of the times in a more isolated place somewhere. It had been a long journey to get here but honestly now when he was here and everything had nothing to really block the memories out. All he had been able to think about was Littlestar, Mercy and Haiiro. And the more he did reality become even more clear he never would be able to get to see them again. All three of them was gone in one or another way. It hurt to think about. If just the real him had stayed then maybe at least Littlestar could have been saved. You never know but the worst part was that Littlestar had thought he had got killed before she had died and... it was all his fault. It made him not feel angry though just...sad.
Inu would rose to his paws, deciding he needed to do something else today or else he might actually lose it. Some sort of distraction if anything. Exploring had seemed like a good idea to begin with so had left the camp all by himself to see what the path would take him and soon entered the forest that also was called for The Canopy much to Inu's own unkowledge. Perhaps it would have been wised to ask more about the territory before getting out here all on his own because otherwise he would have known bears lurked out here, and they where not friendly. At first it had just been peaceful and quiet, not anything to really worry about. But then a loud growl in the distance could be heared which made Inu jump out from his own thoughts. Liftening up his head would smell the air and to his own devastation smelt a bear was close by somewhere. That sent a cold shiver down his spine, remembering the beast how had lurked in The Sanctuary, the one how had killed and torn him into pieces when he had tried to save Haiiro from the monster. That was a day he never would forget, especially how painful and unpleasant it had been. That was probably the main reason why Inu become so scared since he never wanted to get torn apart to pieces ever again. Inu just wanted to get out now so he took a look around to locate the direction he needed to head towards. Founding it shortly started to walk with a increased speed back towards where he had come but he didn't come special long. Suddenly he heared a crack of what sounded like coming from a twig that had got stamped on. Startled by this swung his head around to look at his surrending but did not saw anything. " H-Hello?." he asked, really hoping it was some of his clanmates out here hunting and not the bear. Just when Inu had been about to walk sudden movements come from the left of him, and as he turned his head over there to look saw to his terror a bear coming rushing out straight towards him. That was then Inu got panic and turned around to rush straight of towards the other direction to flee for his life while the bear chased him. Inu jumped over fallen trees and through bushes with his heart up in his throat, and he ran and ran without even daring to look back but could hear the bear was getting in closer towards him. The trees then started to clear up around him and out he come from the trees to run straight into what looked like ruins. It would have been an amazing discovery if not a hungry bear was chasing him from behind. Needing to found somewhere to hide had lucky to found a crack by the bottoms of one of the ruins, and it looked to be just big enough for him to suit inside of it along with some rocks how could be used as protection. Having no time to think decided to go for that so run with everything he had got left inside of him to get himself over there. Crounching down would slip himself under, crawling and forcing himself inside that small space. But he did come inside and would back himself inside as far he could. Outside the bear angrily growled and tried to reach him with both it's claws and teeths. Watching at this beast tried to get to him Inu felt tears creep up inside of his eyes and would shelter his head underneath his wings and put his paws over his ears to block the noises of the bear out. For a while it contunie on but eventually the bear seemed to give up and so walked away, leaving Inu behind. It took some more couple of minutes before Inu actually dared to crawl himself out from his hideout to glance around with a guarded look. No bear could be seen or heared, neither could he smell it being close by either. That was then Inu could breath out in relife. For now the danger seemed over with but one problem remained still. Where was he?. Inu tried to found his way back, to get back on the path he had come from but it was impossible. He really had no idea where he was or for how long he even had been out here now. Worry creept up inside of the vampire wondering if he ever would found his way out or what if the bear come back?. All the time he was on alert, just the slightest bit of noise would startle him. But Inu contunie on, wanting nothing more then to get out from this forest, this place. This day had really not turned out as he had hoped. a

Agent Washington former human - freelancer - manipulative Washington didn't know a whole lot when it came to the likes of wildlife. The simple reason why he didn't know that much despite being a human, was that there wasn't all much to worry about with wildlife when the world was at War and everyone was busy making weapons to win the war. There was no reason for him to know the basic animals that still existed on Earth when they started to run out of resources, but thanks to be able to terraform other planets meant that they were able to move different populations so that heir main planet wasn't going to remain overpopulated. It certainly helped, but that meant that other lifeforms were able to find out what they were, and decide that they were going to be a potential threat to their livelihood. That's how the war started when an entire planet was destroyed because of the beliefs of the aliens that they were fighting against, and the way that his father had died during the war as well. Washington didn't despise the alien creatures that wanted them dead on the simple factor that killing his father didn't really change who he was in life. He was incredibly young, barely able to figure out what the world was like around him already, so the death of his father and the concept of death made Washington extremely confused at that age. howieIt wasn't until he was older that he understood, and through the entirety of high school, they weren't exactly taught an extensive biology class that went over the different animals. Even if he could remember exactly the classes he had when he was younger, those memories were probably replaced when the being that was implanted inside of his head tried to kill itself, replacing his memories with its own. He didn't remember a whole lot of his childhood because of that, and only remembered Allison and when she said that she was going to War and didn't come back. Leaving the Director in an extreme state of grief. Washington did fairly good when it came to school, although since his mother was a single parent it meant that he had to help her around with his two sisters. Harder said than done when they became teenagers and didn't really want to listen to him, but he got through it. He was bullied when he was younger on the factor that his father had died and that he wasn't able to really make any friends as he started working at a young age to help his mother and to watch his sisters. Ultimately, that meant he ended up snapping at the one bully that would never leave him alone, and the boy almost killed the other child when he smashed his head up against the curb. After that, he didn't really have all that much interest in school, and he was more focused on what he was going to do with his life. As the War progressed more and more, he realized that humanity wasn't winning said War and something needed to be done. When he came to age, Washington enrolled himself into the military, joining the marines of the UNSC. At the young age of 18, he was put onto the battlefield with limited training and it was there that he was able to make a little bit of a difference. The more he looked around through the more that he realized that they actually weren't making all that much progress in the missions that they went on. He got promoted here and there for his works at a young age before an incident happened where he was forced to shoot his commanding officer and betray authority to save the life of his men. He wasn't going to die for anything when he wanted to help his family back on Earth so that they could live a better life than what he was going through. After being court-martialed from the UNSC, he joined another military program that dealt with the experimentation of AI's and super soldiers. Washington didn't know what joining said project would ultimately ruin his life and almost leave him basically with nothing. Considering that, the Freelancer had nothing but a military background since he got out of High School. When he first arrived in this world, which still confused as to how it was possible, the male had no idea what animals he was talking to. He had pet cats when he was younger, so it wasn't surprising to see domestic cats around, but everything else made him extremely confused. Washington had to ask for books so that he could brush up on some of the local wildlife. The smaller animals that came and went, were some that he didn't really understand all that much. Cats he could understand, dogs were common as well, but giant beasts that were the size of a scorpion tank? That was out of his pay grade. Washington barely even knew what he was until he looked it up in a book, and he was something that was supposed to be extinct. Not something that others would really be able to tell unless they knew the physical structure of what a smilodon was as his helmet hid the most familiar characteristic of them. The Freelancer had yet to really run into a threat when it came to the likes of the animals that lived in the outpost perimeter. He saw a couple deer here and there, and maybe some other herbivorous creatures, but nothing with the likes of a bear. Washington was smaller than a bear but weighed just as much as one did thanks to the inclusion of the armor that he wore on his body, almost reaching 1000lbs in total. That didn't mean he was great when it came to fighting though. He had an issue with fighting in a body that he wasn't used to, and since he constantly wore a helmet it meant that he wouldn't be able to use his mouth to attack anything and just hope that his claws did the work. Either way, he constantly did his own patrols that were part of his schedule and regimen that he followed strictly. He would patrol the entire territory, making sure that there was no one else similar to him that was walking around. Maine was still at large, and the last thing he needed was to get attacked by the hellhound and get his arm broken again. Early morning was when he took his morning run until he came back to the Observatory to eat, then he would go on his patrols for the several hours at a time, and then he would start working on upgrading his helmet. Washington has managed to upgrade his helmet recently, or at least he was on the path to upgrading it. It allowed him to see the bone structure of anyone that he looked at, aka x-ray vision, but it sounded dorky when someone said it like that. The forest was one of the places he patrolled the most as most civilians went in that direction. The armored smilodon was used to having a routine, and it was having a routine in the first place that kept him from actually going insane. Having his schedule out of order messed his mind up as he was far too used to a militaristic lifestyle to not have it. It wasn't hard to hear the smilodon coming, as the metal armor that he wore rattled with each step that he took. Thanks to the fact that he wore a helmet on his face, meant that he wasn't able to smell if someone was nearby, but instead just find someone by sight and sound. He always refused to take his helmet off. Luckily for him though, seeing something bright yellow was usually an indicator that there was something there, and Washington stopped at least 20ft away from the canine. He narrowed his gold and blue eyes as he watched the animal. Oh wait. He recognized that guy. He was new, and he seemed to be the incredibly nervous type when Washington approached him on the border. What was his name again? Damn. He couldn't remember. The other's behavior was certainly sporadic, a sign that he had seen before in other animals that he has come across. Sighing to himself, the Freelancer began to make his way over toward the canine, but would ultimately keep a 10ft distance and speak from where he was. He enjoyed having a large amount of personal space, and it was obvious when he interacted with other civilians he sported the same behavior. [b]"Is something wrong?" Washington stated in his usual deadpanned and soldier-isk tone toward the canine. His facial expressions hidden underneath his helmet as he looked the other over carefully, making assumptions about him already. Washington would ultimately end up raising one of his dark grey paws and touching the side of his helmet, turning on the x-ray vision that he had and looking over the skeleton of the male in front of him. There didn't seem to be any injuries to the others bone, which was good because he only knew the basics of being a medic. Once he figured that out, he touched the button on the right side of his helmet again, turning off the x-ray vision. He had to blink his eyes a couple times, as it strained his eyes. Which was strange to Washington as his eyes shouldn't be affected, but he wasn't about to vocally say anything like that. Tags | Updated 07/27/18: Re: FRIEND OR FOE? ¤¤ Wash - Seina - 08-10-2018 In a way he could relate but at the same time it hadn't been him how had grown up in a different world, in a different time. It had been the real him how had. His origin had been in a world there he had been a human there animals not could talk or even had powers. Just feral, and under humans full control. But that wasn't him although the memories where still there but not that much his emotions. It was almost like looking into a mirror and watching someone else live your life from the other side. You could see everything but still it didn't felt like that was your life, just somebody else's how for some reason had apart of your own soul inside of them.
It was complicated and somewhat strange to talk about even if he never did that. Inu keept silence of where he actually come from, how his birth even had happend or what sort of person the real him was like. When someone like that existed how brought chaos and destruction to the world what exactly did that made him? after all was apart of him as well. Inu did not believe himself to be a good person, never had and most likely never would. Not everyone agreed with him, there was some few out there how had believed he was worth to be around, to save. Inu disagreed with them but somehow had got drawn in by them and had ended up far to attached to all of them. But now they where all gone and along with them had a part of him died as well. Memories could be a such heavy burden. Suffocating and at times unbearable. That was probably why he had got kicked out from the main host to begin with. It was easier to forget, to pretend none of had ever existed or to erase all of them altogether to change and become somebody else. Inu did not really wanted that though, to forget or erase any of this memories that still had been such prectious memories for him. Even if it hurt never wanted to forget any of them. Even if he never could return back to become who he had been back then still wanted to hold them close to his heart and contunie to walk forward. Without the pain he would feel nothing and that would make him no different from the one how had given him birth to this world. Inu was far from brave though, more the cowardly type how would give out information to the enemy if it meant he could get to live for a day longer. That was why he not could understand why some had tried to be his friend in the past, how no one could see through it all and realise he was nothing more then a useless coward, like now. Out alone in the forest there bears could come out and kill him at any time and all he could think about was himself, far to afraid what would happend if he actually died. Would he simple disappear or get reunited with the other him, the real him?. There was alot of things that went up that head of his at the same time looking around after bears, making him barely noticing when someone else was approching him. But he did when he could hear the other pawsteps coming in closer. Snapping himself out would swing his head around as his heart took a jump inside of his chest, terrified it had been a other bear how had come out to kill him. But it wasn't, luckily instead facing a faintly familliar face. Hadn't this one been there when he had joined?. It was a distant memory for him at the moment but even so didn't felt that much calmned down. This male looked terrifying looking exactly like the type you not wanted to mess with even less meet out in a forest such like this all by himself. Gulping, the vampire would smile skittish at him, unsure how he actually should behave right now. Not to piss this one off seemed like the wisest choice. Answering him would be a good start at that. " N-No, i mean, sorta?. I-i mean.." he nervousely started, not being able to found the words properly. Quickly he needed to found something to say!. " Aha, i uhm, are lost." yes lost, that was a good one!. " D-Do you know where i'm?." Only times he stuttered was when he was extremely nervouse. The real him had gone to such extremes but Inu could actually speak 'normally' unless he was under pressure like now. Swollowing, keept smiling that skittish one as he waited anxiety over how this all would unfold itself. |
