What is the Animal Roleplay section?
Animal roleplay is exactly what it's called. In these boards, you may roleplay as any animal as you choose and then place them in a clan of your choice. You may also roleplay freely in Uncharted Territories with clans of your own! You may also give these characters free mutations(such as horns or wings) and powers as long as you buy them from our shop.

Where is this world located?
We are within modern times! The only thing different is that the world is back in it's 'Pangaea' state to allow easy travel over long distances. Of course, all accents are welcome.

How do I join a clan?
Just hop right into a thread or creating an introduction/joining thread! All characters are welcome as long as they comply to our simple rules.

What kind of animals(or mutations) can I have?
Any! You may roleplay any species of animal with any mutation. Mutations are free, unlike powers, as they provide little to no advantage. You must buy unnatural animals though.

What kind of powers can I have?
You may only use powers specified in the shop. Though, in the future, we are open to adding more. Staff are always open to suggestions!

What kind of names can I have?
You can have any name for your character. Having characters named off of other characters, such as one from Marvel is fully allowed. Many of our members also choose to do 'Warriors' style names where they combine two different words that describe their character to get a name.

How do I become a higher rank or position?
High positions, also known as 'HP's, are special members of the clan who help the leader run the clan. You can gain these positions within a clan by remaining active. The leader will promote you accordingly. Claiming your character is a leader/high position without being promoted by the leader is not allowed.

What about human interaction/roleplaying humans?
Human interaction should be kept to a minimum. You character may be a reincarnated human or have past experiences with humans, but they should not be used in roleplay. As for roleplaying humans, you may not do that. It is considered overpowered.

Can we use technology?
Technology is allowed as long as it used peacefully. It may not exceed any mechanical or battery-driven technology, such as a mechanical typewriter or a tape-player.

What about weapons?
Weapons should be 'stone-aged.' Guns, grenades, tanks, and things in that category should not be used. Sticking to knives is fine.

Can we roleplay anthros?
You may not roleplay anthros.

Aesthetic Elementals

Spoiler:

This item allows the use of elementals for purely aesthetic purposes, such as foxfires, flowering pelts, gemstone bindis, etc. They cannot be used offensively and cannot cover more than 25% of their body. For offensive use or full-body coverage, one will need the corresponding elemental power- such as for foxfires to burn others or for a character's entire body to be covered in stone. If you have the correct elemental power, you do not need this one as well for appearance purposes.

Limitations:
- You may only use this power for aesthetic use.
- If you have the correct elemental power, you do not need this one as well for appearance purposes.
- They cannot be used offensively or defensively. [See coinciding elemental]
- They should not provide protection. [See coinciding elemental]
- Cannot cover up more than 25% of the body. [See coinciding elemental]

Possible Uses:
- Flowers can spawn underneath your character's feet or hands when in contact with the ground.
- Herbs used for medical purposes can be spawned.
- Minor parts of the body can be modified to have an element as an accessory. For example, a lion with a fire mane. The mane itself would not harm anyone unless you have purchased a coinciding elemental. In this case, it would be fire elementals.

Air Elemental

Spoiler:

This elemental uses wind to control the environment around it. For example, you will be able to move light objects around like telekinesis or levitate.

Limitations:
- Cannot carry more than 50lb/22kg.
- Tornadoes are limited to a radius of 10 feet.

Possible Uses:
- Blocking attacks with a gust of wind as a 'shield'. It will reroute the attack.
- Causing small wind storms.

Amorphous

Spoiler:

This item is similar to shapeshifting, but only allows your character to have one other form. Please note this power does not stack and if you desire more forms, you must purchase shapeshifting. Mainly, this is for human roleplay for characters who want a single animal form.

Limitations:
- You may only have one body to transform into.
- If you choose to make this body mythical/extinct/hybrid, you must purchase the item from the shop.

Possible Uses:
- Werewolf-esque transformations.
- Useful undercover co-ops missions where your character can be disguised.

Clairvoyance

Spoiler:

Clairvoyance allows you to see the auras of other characters. This is useful to see who is in what body when they're shapeshifted or possessing another. You may also use this power to see minutes into the future if other characters allow it for their plot.

Limitations:
- Can only determine a character's aura if they have interacted before.
- The future part of this power should only work for a short amount of time in the future.
- Automatically know a character's aura if they don't know them.

Possible Uses:
- You may also use clairvoyance to be hyper aware of surroundings, almost Sherlock-style or eyes on the back of head.
- See more than 30 seconds into the future.
- Touching an item/corpse/being can reveal it's past in quick flashes and for small spurts of times with permission of the roleplayer.

Conjuration

Spoiler:

Teleport owned items(or others with permission) to your character.

Limitations:
- Cannot be over 50lb/22kg.

Possible Uses:
- Teleport small items at will, including weaponry as needed.
- Quick access to herbs and medical things in the middle of battle for medics.

Earth Elemental

Spoiler:

With this power, you may modify the Earth's surface to an extent. As an example, you may move some larger boulders(wind elemental can also move objects, but not as large) or have some flowers grow near your character, as they are Earth related.

Limitations:
- Cannot be over 50lb/22kg when off the ground.
- Objects should not float off the ground when extracted from the earth unless they are under the limit.

Possible Uses:
- Anything directly from Earth and is a natural resource can be bent and destroyed accordingly.
- You may grow flowers with this power, offensively and defensively. For neither, please refer to aesthetic elementals.

Electricity Elemental

Spoiler:

Electricity elementals will allow you to distribute lightning, shocks, and electricity to many subjects.

Limitations:
- Storms cannot be created, as that is apart of the water elemental.
- One lightning strike at a time. Each strike will wear down your character and cause them to experience side-effects.

Possible Uses:
- Lightning strikes are entirely possible if a is near storm is upon your character. Paired with water elementals, this can be a dangerous power.
- Electrocuting enemies with quick lightning strikes.
- Quick shocks could possible cause seizures/muscle spasms, unconsciousness, burns, irregular heartbeat, and difficulty breathing, along with the other effects of electrocution.

Enhanced Senses

Spoiler:

Enhanced senses raises your character's five senses, but you may limit it to only one or a few. The character can hear farther, see even better, and even feel the smallest of movements on their movement. If left unaddressed, a sensory overload can happen.

Limitations:
- Enhanced senses are limited to a mile / 1.5 kilometers in range.

Possible Uses:
- Seeing at a microscopic and a telescopic level.
- Hearing foot steps of incoming enemies.
- For vampires, hearing their pulse.
- Hyper aware of surroundings that could potentially cause a sensory overload.

Fire Elemental

Spoiler:

The fire elemental allows you to summon fire on command, along with the heat provided from it.

Limitations:
- Fire can be of any heat, but the size should be contained to a small area of approximately ten feet. If the fire catches without being put out by other characters, it can expand further uncontrollably.

Possible Uses:
- Viking send offs for the dead
- Lighting cigarettes or matches with a thought
- Burning enemies
- Heating up objects

Intangibility

Spoiler:

With intangibility, you have the power to go through solid objects, such as walls. This is also known as 'ghosting.'

Limitations:
- With intangibility, your character cannot be untouchable in battle. All characters must be able to be harmed.

Possible Uses:
- Walking through walls.
- Leaning on a wall and falling through it.
- Making a ghost character. If you would like your ghost character to be translucent, see invisibility for details.
- Creation of ethereal appendages that can touch objects and aid a character.

Invisibility

Spoiler:

Invisibility allows your character to remain invisible. Even though your character is invisible, others can still smell the stench of your character and hear their movements.

Limitations:
- Footsteps and all actions still can be heard!

Possible Uses:
- A character can be translucent, not fully invisible, if you wish.
- Making a ghost character. If you would like your ghost character to go through objects, see intangibility for details.
- Removing parts of a body to have the appearance of a missing limb but still having it there(can be touched).

Mental Bond

Spoiler:

Two characters(or more) will form a mental and psychical bond together. They will feel similar emotions and pain at the same time together. To use this power, both characters must have the power within their inventory.

Limitations:
- Both characters involved should buy the power!

Possible Uses:
- Characters with this power can be hurt or affected by outside sources once their partner is.
- Bonded characters can communicate between themselves mentally like with telepathy.

Mental Manipulation

Spoiler:

Memories may be manipulated with this power, which can cause emotional damage or a nice form of therapy for many characters. You may also communicate telepathically, create illusions, and dream-walk or change anything mentally of another character with permission.

Limitations:

Possible Uses:
- Other characters with mental manipulation can create the illusion of a different aura to prevent clairvoyance users from seeing their aura.
- Telepathy-like communication with others
- Dream-walking
- Forcing someone to tell the truth
- Modifying / removing someone's memories
- Creating illusions

Health Transfer

Spoiler:

Health transfer allows your character to transfer their health problems or take someone else's problems, such as wounds.

Limitations:
- Your character must be touching the other character to take their wounds.
- If the character that was wounded was destined to die, the character who takes their wound will die instead.
- An eye for an eye!

Possible Uses:
- A medic who takes the wounds of others to heal them.
- An enemy who transfers their wounds after harming themselves to their opponents.

Possession

Spoiler:

With possession, your character can take on any body and overthrow it's host. This a neat alternative to shapeshifting.

Limitations:
- This is NOT shapeshifting.

Possible Uses:
- Demonic or angelic possession
- Inhabiting corpses and reanimating them
- Controlling other animals and seeing through their eyes
- Controlling someone's movements for a short amount of time / Offensively possessing someone to take control of their actions

Reincarnation

Spoiler:

Your characters may reincarnate as many times as possible.

Shapeshifting

Spoiler:

This power allows your character to switch into any form they please at will. Shapeshifting, unlike possession, is within one form.

Limitations:
- Within human roleplay, you may only shift into other humans and no animals.
- If transforming into a shop-inclusive body, you must also purchase that beforehand.

Possible Uses:
- Changing the color your character quickly
- Disguising a character quickly that's undercover
- Imitating another character's voice and body with permission

Telekensis

Spoiler:

Once apart of air elementals, telekinesis has been made into it's own power. Telekinesis allows your character to lift small objects in the air on command.

Limitations:
- Your character may only lift an accumulative total 20lbs/5kg

Possible Uses:
- Lifting small objects and hurling them throughout the area

Teleportation

Spoiler:

Simply, your character can move between spots very quickly by teleportation.

Limitations:
- A character may only teleport within eyesight! If used too quickly and multiple times in a row, they may grow irritable and end up hurting themselves in the process.

Possible Uses:
- Teleporting behind someone.

Wall Walker

Spoiler:

Your character may now walk up walls and defy gravity after making physical contact with an object they wish to scale.

Limitations:
- Your character must be touching the area to crawl up it.

Possible Uses:
- Spider-Man style wall climbing!
- Getting over walls and barriers easier
- Walking on the side of buildings and defying gravity

Water Elemental

Spoiler:

Water elemental allows your character to control any liquid they desire as long as it contains H20.

Limitations:
- Causing small rain storms is limited to a 500 foot radius.
- Hurricanes are limited to a radius of 10 feet.

Possible Uses:
- Rain storms! Paired with the electricity power this can be a dangerous power.
- Moving parts of lakes/oceans/etc to get to the bottom easily by pushing away the water and providing a small air bubble.
- Creating mist
- Freezing objects
- Blood-bending
