Colored paws moved fluidly in tandem with their snowy white matches, side to side, front to back the body of her moved as if there was not a thing even the resistance of muscles seeming to hold her back for any split second. Jiyu was beyond used to navigating the mansion swiftly and sometimes did think to time herself on how quickly she could get from one end to the other. Sometimes thing's changed even when one did not expect them too, she had to keep her reflexes sharp. Without a sound, she flew around another corner, her limbs working overtime even though her eyes did not seem focused on where she happened to be going. Considering her training? She rarely relied on her sight, anticipating from other things that she had a bookcase to jump over. Easily the calico managed to clear the obstacle.
If she was going to protect other's better this time? If this time was going to last? Jiyu knew she needed to be better than last time! The small calico who had caught the impression of past high power, the one who had jetted up the ranks, she was no longer going to be enough. No matter what happened, the lithe female knew she had to become something entirely new or become who she used to be in order to protect herself from getting hurt by losing her home once more. Protecting those she cared for involved being able to reach them regardless of circumstances, she knew a good deal of the world from her travels, now she needed to know the new world the mansion had turned into while she was gone. make sure she could do what she once had and become even better at it. No matter how good she had been years ago? She had to be better now, there had to be some way she could do better if there wasn't she had no chance at making sure all of this remained safe from harm.
What she didn't expect was the young kit in her way, most cats going at her speed wouldn't be able to stop and she didn't think she could either. Thus Jiyu closed her eyes, knowing they would only get in her way, using scent, the sound of paws and everything else she could detect in order leap over the child without harming them. Once she was safely on the other side, safely had avoided accidentally running into a kid, the calico looked at the kit. "Hnn." her ears tipped forward slightly, realizing it was one of Sola's kits. Her friend really needed a kit sitter.

One, two, three, then, Ayon feels the tile quivering beneath him, and, immediately, he halts with a frown. / The tiny kit bites his tongue, and he bleeds iron bent confusion.

Spilling concern, he glances around to see if there's anything that results the planet is gradually approaching to the lion's mouth. / He spots a white polar light above him and his body freezes at the wind pulling his furs and whiskers.
Ocean stained eyes widened, Ayon watches the streak of beauty take in a form of a calico feline as it lands perfectly against the reflected surface. / At the sight, his celestial mind darkens before his ears perks.
Under a blink, and, already, is the kit standing right close before the creature, head high and posture strong. ❝ Ji..yu-u...? ❞ / A greeting evolving question. / Is she the one his mother would tell him about at day and night?
The one who bares dragon teeth, as she bleeds bone dusts and ashes from hellfire?

the unofficial designated kit-sitter would most likely be peytriviing. sola and cain did a good job taking care of their kids and keeping track of them enough. hell, after hearing what happened at tanglewood, they knew parenting was gonna kick their ass with that much chaos. still, they very much loved all their nieces and nephews. summermimosa and amren were definitely going to cause trouble as they grew up, though.
the manticore hadn't been obviously following sayonara around the mansion, but in cain and sola's absences, they took it upon themselves to keep watch. make sure their family was safe and not getting into too much they couldn't handle. they barely registered jiyu's presence until she had already leaped over the kitten, and the beast hurried their pace to come closer to the pair.
"everyone alright? jeez, what's got you running around inside like that? we have a whole territory for you to run laps around if you're going to do that." peytriviing could hardly trust themselves not to step on anyone when inside the mansion; the only reason they walked so slow was because of this. they were unused to the enormous size they had been given. jiyu, though, the calico had been alive for much longer than they. certainly she knew how to behave indoors.
