With The Best Intentions;; Rosebloods;; Open - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 08-01-2018

The original intention upon returning had been to hide long as she could wherever she could within the mansion. Dealing with other animals she may not completely hate, may feel at home with, after all this time? Was something that felt painful just thinking about it, most would be elated by those thoughts but she was not like most, she felt almost nothing when she wasn't hurting, which was most of the time. Jiyu had known the only exception to her cold life to be when she last resided in The Elite and losing that home in the past had been the worst pain she ever experienced, so bad she didn't even realize the gaping wound for so long. Never again, no one could make her endure that ever again and if she accepted this was really happening and not some fools dream she opened herself up to that pain again.

Mother was back, and that spoke to the calico in so many ways. To begin with? Mother had a job for her and she had to make mother dearest proud of her. Secondly, her mother was a former leader which meant so long as Capone was around there very well may be a purpose for a guard again, which was what she always had been here. Some sense of normalcy she had not felt in what felt like forever was restored, she had someone on the other end of the leash again, someone who knew what she was and what they could do with her aid.

The saber-toothed calico found a small gathering of cats in the mansion, entering the room and jumping atop some piece of furniture for attention. Of course, with the corpse-like appearance of her, she really didn't need any extra to get others to look, she was disturbingly empty. "Come on, we must make sure the throne room is secure eventually we will need orientations again and we need to know if where guards must be placed during them has changed any." not that anyone was going to like her idea on how to make sure any future leader remained safe. Hopefully, her fellow Rosebloods would not take offense to her pretending to be an invader they had to fend off during an orientation and not playing too gently with them.

Re: With The Best Intentions;; Rosebloods;; Open - Dissonance Valerius - 08-01-2018

It was more by accident that Dissonance found himself wandering into the occupied room, only to find Jiyu up there talking. He'd not spoken to, or interacted with, anyone else in person yet since his arrival - weeks? - ago, instead remaining largely shut away for whatever reason he might have had. It was a little disorienting, really - for a moment he had this overwhelming sense that he wasn't supposed to be here. This place had been before his time, and yet here it was, occupied as if it had never been abandoned for 'greener pastures' to begin with. It was like walking into a stranger's house uninvited. He'd searched for so long, and he'd finally found the place just based on bits & pieces of memories, descriptions and stories.

Still, he was more than happy to linger on the sidelines for a moment now that he was here. It was strange seeing Jiyu again after so long more than anything - she hadn't seemed to have changed a bit. That was a bit comforting in its own way. "We're bringing back orientations?" He mused, speaking up as a smirk playing across his lips for a moment. "<Good!> I'll play whatever part that's required of me in gauging the security of the throne room."

Re: With The Best Intentions;; Rosebloods;; Open - S. Mortem - 08-01-2018

"Here we go." The words are murmured under her breath, the blue tortoiseshell's yellow gaze intent upon the duo. She's rather far back in the throne room, watching them carefully, not seeming too interested in their idea to make sure the perimeter is secure. After all, where's the fun in that? Perhaps it's her self-destructive nature, but she much rather be surprised by an intruder than be safe. With the tip of her tail flicking from side to side in a borderline aggravated way, she gets to her paws, moving gracefully towards the two. There's not much of a reaction to seeing them - not like there was with Pres, who she feels protective over, despite the fact that he's now an adult. She wonders if he'll show up at some point. Rather than focusing on the what ifs, however, she keeps her attention steadily upon them, looking between Jiyu and Dissonance smoothly.

They're more into this, she can tell, and it becomes increasingly more clear that she's not planning on being much help. If anything, she's going to spend her time here pestering them. With a lack of height, she has to use her sharp tongue to her advantage, after all. And that's the plan.

Laying down closer to them, she stretches out across the floor, jaws parting as she yawns. "Lovely to see you two working," is her first comment, gaze continuing to trail over them, a light smile at the corner of her lips, but barely there. "Not surprising. Does it ever get tiring?" And there it is, the vaguely antagonist nature she's picked up over the years. "And Dissonance, love, you'll play whatever part? Rather eager to please, are you?" The smile grows a bit as she lifts her head in the slightest to look at him directly, quirking a brow.

Sola's not quite sure what they're going to expect from her, but she doesn't want to have to meet anyone's expectations anyhow.
