so far gone | hurting izuku - Stryker - 07-30-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — Peace was a distraction from the outside world and the intentions of the truly willed, Stryker had come to find out with his talk with Yes Man. Not only was there restraints on their actions, but no bold actions being made within Snowbound for the world to reflect on. They were all pussies. No one wanted to make the actions that they needed or wanted here. In Stryker's eyes, that was disgraceful. With all of these bold members, he'd think one of them would of acted out eventually and taken the actions needed. Yet nothing was done. The Typhoon had attacked their herbal den, but they were taken down to neutrals instead of enemies. How disgraceful. Justice was due, not some silly announcement. The lion was no longer content staying within his life-long home if they weren't going to speak up for themselves and act out on their intents under a pitiful leader.

Green eyes stared at the remains of the herbal cabin. A few simple ashes and the smell of burnt leaves reminisced around the area, but that was all was left. There were no more supplies for them to use. They'd have to go scouting again. If only Snowbound had followed up on their word, their members would of never been left without proper medical care. 'Fucking useless imbeciles,' came his enraged thoughts. The Pitt's leader had twisted his view on Snowbound, but opened a new second-hand view on his own clan, showing that Snowbound was weak and not willing to do what they needed to do. It was frustrating. Did he go against his family for the freedom to do what he's always wanted and embrace the thrill of the world or did he stay silent against the pitiful actions of his home? Conflicted, he stood silent as he stared at the ashes.

Without boundaries, he would cause disdain. Stryker knew this, but inside he knew he had to give it in to this path to experience the thrill he's always wanted. Biting on his split tongue, the male closed his eyes. 'The Pitt has no limits, you must head there and never return here,' said his mind. But how did he avoid such a temptation to return to a place that he appalled so much? The answer would run to him soon.

Stryker's eyes rose up from the ashes, staring off in the distance. A low growl rumbled in the back of his throat, claws unsheathing in the process as his eyes narrowed up at the sky. "FUCK!"

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - arcy - 07-30-2018

Some days, Izuku might agree that Snowbound wasn't the most prone to violence. Some days, he might think that it would have been better to push back, teach the Typhoon that they weren't to be messed with. But that? That was the more violence-prone side of him. The one that always screamed at him to fight back. If somebody wronged you, you hurt them, or else they'd hurt you. He was working on .. suppressing that bit, though. He wasn't -- there wasn't any reason to pick a fight, here. These people didn't want to hurt him, they were his clanmates. And if he got too hurt, he wouldn't be able to perform his duties as Frosthealer. Izuku .. he refused to let his clanmates get hurt because he was a dumbass and picked a fight. It'd already happened too many times for Izuku's liking.
.. This isn't really the point, though. Stryker. Izuku didn't mind the lion, really. Izuku hadn't seen him around a lot before recently, but it didn't bother him, really! What .. kind of did bother him, was Stryker's attitude. He'd met worse people, of course. Far, far worse, Stryker being among the least. He'd been there for a few things, after all. Like the herbs being set on fire, or -- other things. And he didn't ever help. He was just sort of .. there, snarking. Which was fine on a few occasions, but it looked like it'd become a habit if it wasn't confronted soon. Uh. There were, of course, downsides to this. Like -- he's not sure. Stryker seemed kind of .. aggressive? That's not the word, but for the life of him, Izuku can't think of a better describing word.
"Awfully dramatic of you to shout, considering you didn't help put out the fire," Izuku says dryly as he strides over. The dragon, only around Stryker's size as it was then, doesn't seem upset. Maybe just a little exasperated and tired, as he misinterprets the main source of Stryker's stress. In all fairness, you couldn't blame him. The lion was standing among the ashes of the burned herbs, and the unstable remains of the medical cabin. God. He really needed to set on repairing the damn place. I mean, he had his own cabin to keep his stuff, but he couldn't keep a ton of people in there, now could he? But .. why was Stryker screaming like that in the first place? Awfully attention-grabbing, wasn't it? It was the main reason he'd come over here to begin with. Hm. He's not sure .. why .. he's bothering with Stryker right now, anyways. He's too tired for this. He's too tired to deal with much of anyone, when he'd spent the last few days since gathering new supplies. He'd probably come off wrong and upset somebody, and y'know what? This is just him, acting wrong again, or at least that was how his classmates would interpret it, but Izuku .. didn't really care. He really just didn't.

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — "Awfully dramatic of you to shout, considering you didn't help put out the fire."

A growl rumbled from the back of his throat at the remarked aimed in his direction. Taunted like always. Neon eyes shifted down from the sky and onto the dragon who dared to ridicule him. "That's where you're wrong, scaly cunt," he snapped back viciously. "I helped." He huffed loudly is dismay. "No thanks to you." What did Izuku do besides love his assumed significant other(which he's misinterpreting, Stryker is just a fool)? Nothing. He just sat there and cried in agony while the rest of his clanmates, including the lion himself, kicked snow in the direction of the flames. Even the tongue-bitch helped. Izuku was nowhere to be seen when it came to cleaning up his damned herbal mess. 'Whiny asshole.'

The lion's lips curled back, green eyes narrowing in disgust. "What's it to you, powder puff?" In that moment, a choice was made. If he couldn't be noticed for one kind action, why would they ever note his presence otherwise? After all these years, he had been lurking in the shadows of Snowbound, waiting for his moment. Yet, it never came. He was not significant here, nor would he ever do what he pleased here. Their ignorance was not bliss. There were clans out there in need of help, people who needed a lesson to be taught to them, and yet this fucked clan looked the other way. Snowbound was full of winter-fuckers who loved the sound of the birds chirping while the rest of the world screamed for help around them. Now, peace... Peace was for fools.

What would happen if the trouble came to them? It seemed as if it already had. Sure, the Typhoon made their mark, but there was more that could ruin Snowbound rightfully... and they would turn their eyes away from it. It was as if it didn't matter... How disgraceful! Stryker would show them where it hurt and where action should be taken until they broke into tears. They would plead. They would run. They would know the consequences of turning their eyes away from the rest of the world and have that demise brought to them by his raging fist. For once, he felt as if he was making his mark. For once, he felt important and free from the boundaries of this insignificant clan.

Stryker broke free from his mind, along with the cage he'd been in for so long, and moved his eyes back off in the distance once again. "Uptight bastard, you'll see," came a muttered hiss in between clenched teeth. Hopefully, Izuku didn't hear that.

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - arcy - 07-31-2018

Izuku, of course, doesn't mean to be cruel. He never has. It simply wasn't in Izuku's nature, see? But the effects of Izuku's words have become lost on him, these days. What was cruel, what was kind? Izuku isn't sure, these days. After so long in the wilds, they'd become intertwined, because there wasn't a difference. It made it -- slightly problematic, when he was interacting with clanmates. Like now.
Izuku's head tilts, as Stryker snaps back at him. He looks a little concerned -- he doesn't really know what 'cunt' means. He hadn't heard the word before, but it didn't take a lot to guess it was a swear. "If you did, it was the bare minimum," He offered, maybe a little thoughtlessly. He doesn't look terribly impressed. He hadn't seen Stryker kick the snow over, but he hadn't been doing anything when Izuku looked back. The Frosthealer is already closing himself off from the situation, though. Where he'd previously been more casual, his wings are now pulled tight into his sides and eyes slit. "I'm Frosthealer, and my clanmates' health is my first priority. And, if you couldn't tell, Atbash was not only still injured, but the situation was also very taxing on her mentally," After how Caesar hurt her, he couldn't blame her. But still, it was out of place of Stryker to think that Izuku wasn't doing fucking anything. Izuku isn't aware he'd even come off that way to the lion, still isn't. I mean, it's not like Izuku had any concept of how romantic couples looked. And even if he did, he didn't see Atbash that way in the least. She was just his friend, and she was an adult, unlike Izuku. In Stryker's defense, Izuku's age was hard to tell in this form. "I knew I had enough herbs to get me by, and you all seemed to have it covered. They were unlikely to be salvageable, anyways," The dragon's ears flatten, lips curling. Just like the others. Stryker was likely no better than the rest of those fuckers that he met out in the wilds. Seriously, what the hell was with those insults? All bark and no bite. Though -- Stryker may bite, Izuku isn't sure. Either way, he's not scared to push his limits. He never was. He'd lost the ability to be scared of how other people bit back, and so Izuku got himself into trouble time, and time again just because he tended to snark back and make things worse, these days. It was better than just letting things die, then.
"You could be useful. You could make a difference in this clan, if you just actually put effort into doing stuff. But, so far, you haven't," What did it matter to him? Good question. But Izuku was already here to pick a fight. If Stryker didn't attack him now, he would later, and so what did it fucking matter if Izuku said some nasty things? Izuku had learned his lesson enough times, it never made a difference. But at least if Izuku said what he wanted, he wouldn't just be weak. Wouldn't be a coward. People were less likely to see him as easy pickings if he fought back.
"I'll see what? Who's the fucking uptight one, here? You're not better than us like you seem to think you are." His heart is pounding, and Stryker is walking away but Izuku doesn't get it. He doesn't think he's better than Stryker, either. But, either way, he's still angry. He didn't mean to start a fight, of course, but that didn't mean Izuku wouldn't subconsciously self-sabotage himself because he lived for the thrill. And also thought he maybe if he fucked up enough, he'd get kicked out of the clan. Nothing more than he deserved. The dragon, with a soft growl, not meant to be threatening but more frustrated, makes after the lion for a few steps, tail still lashing. He can't believe this. He can't believe this.

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - Stryker - 07-31-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — With heaving breaths, he continued to look off at the night. 'Don't lose your cool.' He did not think to listen to himself. Pitiful... As the dragon kept speaking, Stryker listened with his ears perked, eyes narrowed, and his lip beginning to curl back second by second. A growl began to reminisce in the back of his throat again as he listened, it's rumble growing louder with ever word that left Izuku's mouth. 'Don't lose it now.' But Izuku kept going... and going... and going with all those disgraceful words! He did something. He did the best he could. Yet, it seemed as if he was nothing to this damned clan he slaved over for so fucking long. After all this time, what more could he done? What more could they have done as a clan instead of turning a blind eye against the cruelty of the world?

"You're not better than us like you seem to think you are."

Stryker just felt himself snap.

With claws digging into the earth below him, the white lion slowly turned to face the dragon with green eyes glaring in a hazed rage. Venomous teeth shined in the dark, bared for the dragon to see. Every muscle in his body was tensed. He was holding himself back, but he oh-so wanted to give into beating this fucking prick to the ground... and oh lord, he would. There were no strings holding him back any longer. Praise the Pitt.

In contrast to his previous moves, Stryker jumped suddenly into the air with paws flinging outward in the direction of Izuku. As he dove, large paws would aim to bowl into the dragon's side. The white lion would attempt to pin him upon the ground, claws digging into his sides as he did so. If successful, the male would maneuver himself so one paw would step down on Izuku's throat to hold him down while his jaws parted. Moments after, his pair of large canines would wrap around the dragon's juglar and begin to inject venom within his veins that could cause paralysis, respiratory problems, nausea, and blurred vision, even death, depending on the victim. His green parted tongue would lick at the area softly, soaking up the blood. When and if the job was done, he'd pull away.

Enthralled, Stryker's lips pulled back into a stained smirk. The taste of the power of dominating others and showing them that they were wrong was the thrill he had awaiting all this time. With Snowbound out of the way, all he had to do was leave. Though... not yet. If he wanted that true experience, he'd wait for the showdown. In the meantime, Stryker liked to hope that his venom would paralyze his victim so he couldn't speak his perpetrator's name just yet. Watching his group scatter for the criminal would be an interesting sight to see, especially when he would be helping them do just that and possibly even pointing them in the wrong direction. The longer this could be dragged on... the better.

Things were about to get chaotic.

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - arcy - 07-31-2018

Izuku sure did love to run his mouth, sometimes. He hadn't learned his lesson about that, it would seem. Like .. no matter how many times it got him in trouble, he just wouldn't stop. Probably because there was literally no difference at all.
.. Izuku. Well, Izuku may bluff and say that he's expecting an attack, but really? He wasn't. He wasn't expecting a clanmate to turn on him no matter how badly they treated each other. So -- maybe that's why, when Stryker launches, Izuku isn't ready. He could dodge. He could duck out of the way, meet Stryker's attack with one of his own, but he can't. The dragon's ears twitch and his eyes go wide and his talons only manage a meagre spark or two before he's on the ground and shit he didn't think this through.
Claws scrabble over his scales, but they dont give, luckily. They do, however, give under Stryker's teeth. Izuku's scales weren't the strongest things in the world, and even Stryker's vite manages to crunch through. Shit. Shit. Realization comes, and Izuku scrabbles to push his talons into Stryker's pelt, but he's too late. That was -- suspicious. That wasn't a fight. That was one bite. And his head already feels weird by the time Izuku is on his feet, tail aggressively sweeping. Despite it having been injected straight into his neck, it'll take a minute for it affect. He was big enough, now, that it'd take a minute to fully take him down. He just .. hm. His head is woozy. .. Poison? Izuku didn't have time to fetch an antidote. He needed to .. make a big scene, didn't he? Was it even poison? Or he was bleeding out, but Izuku wasn't bleeding terribly heavy, though it was kind of nasty. It wouldn't affect him this quickly, anyways. Izuku knew how his blood worked, after all the times he'd gotten injured, y'know?
"What did you do," He growls, maybe a little hysterically. His head is spinning, but it's only subtle, and he needs to act fast. A big scene, right? Not a screaming fest. Too obvious. Just enough to bring somebody over, right? Uh. Though they might. Get hurt .. too? Hmm. A few minutes .. max? Assuming it was poison. It was probably poison. He'd deal with a venom victim, once, that was pretty bad. Izuku -- takes a deep breath. He's a little too unsteady to rush Stryker, isn't he? "Poison? Or .. venom? Something else entirely?" People liked to monologue when he pushed them, and Izuku manages to raise his voice just enough to be heard. Not that it'd be hard. I mean, Stryker was right there. He hadn't left. He was going to trick them, right? Hm .. if Izuku did pass out in a minute, what would be obvious? .. Electricity was his signature. He could manage that. His legs are trembling and what the fuck is with his head and vision. Not good. Not good. The crackling of electricity takes a few moments to ramp up but then he'd be too obvious and he wants to vomit, but he needs --.
As fast as he can manage, immediately after his claws begin to spark, Izuku clumsily rears up to slam an electrified paw over -- well, whatever he could reach, on Stryker's form. If he fails, he'll just try again. It wasn't meant to be anything big. Did he have the strength for that? Questionable. His intent was really just to do whatever obvious damage he could, just in case he passed out before he could say anything. And, y'know, he probably would. He just had .. what, a minute? Breathing was weird. Hard. But he'd just have to make an obvious enough burn, that was all. He'd gotten into enough fights people could recognize what electric burns looked like? He just needed a second. Just one. Except his movements .. were kind of shaky. Uncoordinated. Honestly, his only saving grace here would be that Stryker probably wasn't expecting him to attack, when he was clearly feeling all kinds of bad and shaky right there. Like a single push would send him to the ground. Or himself. He could probably send himself to the ground pretty fast.
//im kind of an emotional mess rn so sorry this sucks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - Stryker - 07-31-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — Talons grazed at his side as he pulled away, but seeing that the male was too late, no major damage was done by the dragon. The job was done. Stryker had made his damn mark for the first time. Though, seeing the male rise to his feet and speak was astonishing. With a smirk, the lion reared his head backwards and let his mane fall away from his face as he stared down at his victim with god-like glory. ”I did my best,” he countered genuinely. ’And you said I did nothing for this damn place. Waste of my time as always...’

The white lion’s eyes narrowed. He wanted to know what was within that mouth of his, now did he? Flicking his split tongue, he cackled a few. Sharing that information wouldn’t be in his best interest, as it’d leave his victim in a spot to be cured. The more time Snowbound was left in the dark, the better. No one could lick his wounds this time... or rather suck his wounds. Snake bite puns. ”Oh so now you need my help, powder puff?” Stryker cooed back sarcastically. ”Silly lizard.” He shook his head from side to side in disapproval, noting the male’s dismay. As he spoke, something was brewing.

An unseen electrical jolt staggered up his front left paw and through the rest of his body, leaving a visible scar from his shoulder to the tip of his paw. Stryker jolted violently on impact, muscles flaring. His eyes squinted into a frustrated close as he backed away in a panic. ’Fuck.’ The lion settled eventually. His whole body stung like a bitch and patches of his fur were beginning to rip off closer to the scar. ”Bitch.” The word was muttered with a stutter, obvious from the electricity still running through his body. Even so, he knew he had to go. Without another word, he rushed off into the distance without a trace left behind before their argument attracted others to his position.

Soon he would realize the scar left upon him, along with the mistake he had made.

Re: so far gone | hurting izuku - ATBASH CIPHER. - 07-31-2018

ATBASH CIPHER
i should've said what i hear
i should have let myself fear
Snowbound was a peaceful group and for the most part, everybody got along. Atbash had never really seen anything lash out at each other verbally, save for perhaps Cry's sharp tongue and the occasional snap from Dagon, one of Dimitri's alters. Hell, even after being attacked by The Typhoon and one of their members was captured for a bit, Snowbound did not fight. Sure, Izuku and Tsuyu went to the source of the capture and fought there, and Delta had went to confront Caesar (though Atbash was not aware of this), but the fight was never brought on Snowbound soil. Even though one of the Typhoonites burned their herb supply, they did not fight back. And perhaps that was Atbash's fault for being so pacifist and afraid of causing more trouble.

As Atbash exited her den, the smell of blood washed over her nose and her eyes widened. Following the smell, the Hailcaller found herself nearing the medical cabin. Although fear was in the back of her mind regarding the cabin recently being burned, worry drove her closer, to which she eventually found Izuku's body laying on the ground. "Izuku!" Atbash exclaimed out loud accidentally, completely forgetting that she should still probably be using telepathy to talk, as she rushed over to the Frosthealer. "Izuku, are you okay? Can you hear me?" Alarm was in her voice, and she was trying to damn hardest not to make her voice shake from both that and pain from talking.

Cry was quickly awoken by Atbash's screams. She felt her blood run cold. The last time she screamed out like this-

The crow stumbled out of the tree she was stationed in, falling for a few moments before gaining her bearings and flying towards the cries. Why was everyone in this damn place getting hurt? Why was it those she cared about? Why wasn't anyone fighting back???

The crow landed beside Atbash, staring up at her shaky face before turning to Izuku... Ohh... Izuku... The healer was the one that was wounded. She sighed... Shit. Fine. Fine!! This was just fine. She hopped close to the limp creature, her feathers reaching to gently brush over the bite wound. It was dry. Whoever did this already cleaned the wound... She peered closer, her eyes glaring at the fur. It was... green. Like he had been.

Poison... She perked up, recognizing the symptoms. She sharply turned around to Atbash, fear in her eyes. Get help! Any help! He might not have long! She huffed, turning to the side. Whoever was here left footprints. And get a hunting party. I have someone to track down. No one hurt Izuku. Why would you hurt Izuku?? Izuku was just a dumb kid that wanted people to smile! Or... that's what it seemed like on the surface.
