neverland / o, visitor - Character Graveyard. - 07-29-2018

Jericho had requested others to visit a few other groups to let others know about Sunhaven. Was she nervous? Oh yeah. She'd be around others she didn't really know, so the thought of it made her shudder. The young hybrid-pup had approached Tanglewood's border, carrying a basket of goodies from Sunhaven between her jaws, though the basket had almost made her trip and fall a couple of times on her way here.

Releasing a soft-sigh from her mouth, Ellie would sit down and wait for Tanglewood members to show up.

Re: neverland / o, visitor - jericho - 07-31-2018

Jericho's arrival is slightly delayed behind Ellie, but he follows her nevertheless.  He's been visiting other groups too, but he's trying his best not to miss out on any, however long it takes.  For a small, blind, three-legged feline, he's rather content with himself for simply having made it this far at all — traveling is often tiring for someone as weak as himself.  And yet the ginger tabby approaches, his white-tipped paws lopsided in their gait but still gentle upon the swampy earth.  Jericho halts beside Ellie with a little exhale before his ears prick and his unseeing gaze peers forth, blindly staring just past Vigenere.  The tom himself cannot see the other male's nod in greeting, but he listens to his words and offers a small smile in acknowledgement of his own.

Tanglewood — an interesting name.  He hopes he'll remember it; there aren't as many groups around here as he's used to, but it's still enough for him to have to recall.  The little Helion clears his throat and greets, "Ah, hello.  I-I'm Jericho and this is Ellie; we're from Sunhaven.  We've, um, just... s-settled in nearby and wanted to visit."  He certainly doesn't expect the other to recognize their group by name or any other means; as much as the sea town already feels like home to Jericho, they're still new.  "I was also wondering i-if you're all interested in an alliance?  Or, ah, at least neutrals, anyways.  We have lots of shopkeepers in Sunhaven — I f-figured we could come by and trade sometime."

More strange auras on the border. The more Delphi wandered from camp the more it truly tested the girl's comfort zone, encountering strangers at an almost alarming rate as she was incapable of keeping up with the waves of new faces and names to keep tabs on. Even within Tanglewood it seemed new faces were popping up more and more. Which was supposedly a good thing, was it not? It meant that Tanglewood was thriving, although it made travel rather daunting. Daunting, but exhilarating in a way that overrode any fears that settled like a stone in Delphinium's stomach. Converging paths to follow in the pawsteps of Vigenere, the kitsune trailed behind the Regent as she approached the scene. The scent the two felines carried was unfamiliar, not that Delphi was accustomed to the scent of other groups to begin with, but at the very least she had caught hints of it from the pelts of other Tanglers. This was something new entirely, however. Her gaze rested on Jericho, who seemed to take a leadership role between the two. Sightless eyes met her own olive ones, Delphi quickly realizing he was blind. "Hello," the navy mythic greeted softly as to not disturb the flow of conversation about to pick up, but still making her presence known to Jericho.

He introduced himself as from a group called Sunhaven, a name entirely unfamiliar to Delphinium. She knew of Tanglewood's ally, the Ascendants, and their enemy the Typhoon but that was where the girl's knowledge ended. Fox-like ears flicked back curiously as Jericho began to speak. They were here to visit, which was of little surprise. Strange faces at the border were either joiners or visitors from another group, rarely to never were they simply wanderers passing through. Her head turned to the side toward Vigenere, ink nose twitching. "Who handles alliances?" Delphi questioned aloud. Obviously Beck, but would Morgan or even Vigenere himself be able to take care of it himself?

Re: neverland / o, visitor - madster - 07-31-2018

so many new groups, he thought. he couldn't really keep track of the other three clans, and now there was more clans to keep in his head? he grimaced, coming up besides vigenere. after vigenere tried to comfort him, malphas had grown a little closer to the eldest cipher, despite his outward hate. plus, he was partially motivated by vigenere's doubt in him, so he had to give the savannah some credit.

"sunhaven," he stated, tilting his head and narrowing crimson eyes. "we're a warbound, i'm not sure we make alliances so easily," he spoke, blinking slowly. "beck should be here soon. while we're waiting, though... what exactly do you have to offer? we got offers from other clans, so you're not special." malphas didn't sugarcoat anything he said, unfortunately.

↠↠:eyes:

Joel didn't give a crap about this whole 'group' idea. He wasn't happy with it, and he was only stuck here until he was healed up enough to make it on his own again, like he always had. But damn, these guys were blunt, even for being in a group. The hell were they, murderers? Thiefs? They didn't look like the type, if Joel was being obvious enough. He sat, rubbing at the bandages on his neck that covered his bite wound. He would watch, for now.↞↞

As Vigenere approached, the young-female would take a step back for a brief second before she relaxed. He was friendly, well it seemed that way to her. She would offer a half-hearted smile in the male’s direction and she would introduce herself. “Ellie.” Then her blue eyes would focused on Delpinium as the older female walked over. She wasn’t too wary nor was she was too relaxed. She couldn’t trust anyone here unless they proved they were trustworthy.

Then Jericho strolled up beside her- causing to relax. She would let him do the talking and hopefully he was careful with his choice of words. She would ignore Vigenere and Malphas, as they weren’t that interesting looking but she would stare at Joel, curious about the bandages on him.

↠↠The name caught him in a stumble. He didn't know why, honestly. Anyone could have used that name as their own. It wasn't hers and hers along. Amber eyes flickered with an emotion unable to be read as he sat, watching the others with his ears pinned against his head. Emotions bubbled in his chest, and he coughed, forcing them down and he sighed. Yep, just another person looking at him. Just another person with the same name as Ellie.

However, catching her gaze on his bandages, he grunted. "What are you lookin' at, kiddo?" He chastised quietly. Honestly, did anyone teach their kids not to stare anymore? ↞↞

As the male coyote would glance at her, she could feel something stirr deep within her. And a feeling of strange nostalgia came over her. The young female would push the emotion down and she would answer the male, sarcasm in her voice clear.

“Nothing. Why are you staring, stranger? ”
