It was mid-afternoon when the six-foot tall Utahraptor stepped back into the Ascendants' territory. She would tap all of her claws against the ground and let out a loud-growl, curling her lower lip and revealing razor-sharp teeth as well. She would march through the forest, holding her head up tall as she saw a rabbit chewing on some grass not very far away from her. Echo would release a high-pitched screech before she lunged forward, grabbing the rabbit with her front claws before she roughly planted a foot on its tail. Teeth would eagerly tear into the rabbit's flesh and in a short manner of time- she had devoured the entire rabbit, except for it's tail. Blood dripping from her jaws, the Utahraptor would continue walking until she reached the end of the forest.

There, she would let out a broadcast call, hoping to get a response from any of her sisters or maybe even Alpha.

Owen had thought that the other three raptors had disappeared, but it seemed that one of them was back. Lifting his muzzle up to the air, he could scent the familiar tang of Echo. Ah, how he loved his girls dearly. Standing up from his previous position in a patch of grass, the ex-navyman rushed through the forest, releasing his broadcasting call back to Echo. He was here. Alpha was here now. And so was Delta.

The black and brown german shepherd came to a halted stop, his facial expressions blank as always when first confronting the raptors after a while.  One could never be too affectionate when first greeting them, he knew that. After all, he was the one who raised and trained the four girls. "Echo!" He finally called her name, a soft chitter of affection leaving his throat as he kept his posture authoritative, strong, confident. He trusted Echo, just like he trusted all of the other girls.

With how close she stuck to Alpha these days, Delta heard the broadcast calls loud and clear as they came one after the other. She recognized Echo's voice - and also remembered that Echo challenged her once for her rank, as well as Blue. Delta, then, regarded Echo as a troublemaker; as she walked over to the two of them, she felt prepared to deal with another challenge if her older sister wanted to go for another rank squabble.

Chittering a greeting to them both, the teal Utahraptor stood behind her Alpha as she shifted her weight restively between her feet. She certainly knows it's a good thing that the pack is getting bigger, as she is fond of her sisters and their social bonds, but she doesn't quite enjoy the potential trouble that Echo brings with her.

[align=center][div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: georgia;"]Admittedly, Imperia finds the raptors to be extremely intimidating. She is a nervous creature by nature, so willingly placing herself in the company of feral predators is not an appealing thought. Anxiety is a demon that haunts her, filling her mind with a plethora of worst-case scenarios. But the lovely she-wolf is tired of allowing her fear to control her so, although it takes several moments of hesitance, the cleric approaches Owen and his "girls" after spotting them on her way back to camp. "Have you always been close?" she asks, voice trembling slightly although Peri manages to keep herself together. A friendly smile decorates her features. "They seem to trust you a lot." She is unaware of how the group dynamic works, and she is more than just a little curious.

Imperia was a goddess, beautiful in her own right. Owen had taken notice the moment he saw her pretty pelt push through into vision, and he turned slightly, never turning his back to the recently returning raptor. Ah, fear was a strange thing for the raptors. If they sensed it, they usually correlated it with food. So, turning to the two girls, Owen babbled out the command. "Leave it. Not prey." He told the two, his tail pointing towards the wolf which had arrived.

Then, he turned back to the female, dipping his head to her a little. "Of course. I raised them from eggs, after all." Owen replied to her question, a soft laugh leaving him. While he often answered this question, it was never that hard to answer. The four raptor girls were his children, pretty much. "We respect each other. I'm their Alpha, name's Owen." He introduced himself politely, giving her that same kind smile, with maybe a little more smugness.

Pointing to Echo, he introduced her with a nod of his head. "This one's name is Echo." Then he turned to Delta, smiling towards the green Beta. "And this one's name is Delta. I have two others named Blue and Charlie, they're somewhere out there."

Her eyes would narrow to slits as she heard approaching and her nostrils flared as she saw Alpha enter her line-of-vision. She would chittered affectionately and she decided to get closer to Owen, purring noises coming from her throat. Then she noticed one of her sisters approaching from behind Owen. She would tap her claws against the ground before staring at Delta. Since Blue wasn't here, that made Delta the Beta of their pack. She wouldn't stand for that. She'd fight her sister sometime soon but not right now.

Upon smelling a small trace of fear coming from Imperia, Echo would quickly turn her head in the small female's direction, curling her lips- revealing her sharp-teeth. She would babble to Delta, before she had heard Owen's order. "Prey? Fear on this one." Disappointed by Alpha telling them that the female wasn't prey, Echo would make her way behind Delta, getting into pack formation.
