Down To The Devils Show - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 07-27-2018

They were all worthless no matter what she did every single group one after the other proved how worthless they were. Playing the game with no benefit to herself was so exhausting and eventually, it just was not worth the struggle. When the hassle exceeded what little payout she was receiving? The calico just decided to stop entirely, she had survived largely on her own before and very well could do so again without having to play the game other cats played. Quickly after growing exhausted the odd-eyed female had set out on her own to travel the world completely by herself, except when she let her next meal believe they were traveling companions until she grew hungry enough to eat. Something about letting some poor sap believe she was their friend, that someone heartless as she had warmed to them and desired to protect them, only for that cat to find out she saw them as nothing more than food, was intoxicating. The more time went on in her life? The more she only felt alive when she was hurting someone else, and maybe that was because the only piece of happiness she ever possessed had been ripped from her.

Her single black paw scraped over familiar stairs and it was the first time in so long that she felt anything at all without blood running over her paws or some elaborate emotional game being played on another. Orange soon followed the ebony ash of her other foot, chased by snowdrops as her marionette held body sped up slightly. "I'm back." why should she say that she was home? What she called home had been torn apart long ago and she was likely never going to get it back no matter how hard she tried.

Jiyu was already bored as she leaped through some broken board to enter the mansion, slightly sabered fangs glinting in the low light. She had to stay in the shadows until she established if the rumors were true and if they were who exactly was involved in trying to bring home back. Jiyu did not want to get caught up in the portion of cats who did not believe brutality belonged in her home, because she could be nothing less. Heck, the calico was proving that even in these moments her maw clamped around what appeared to be some sort of skin sack with blood dripping from it, she brought dinner on the go. "Here will have to do." after some wandering she found a locked door and through some work found that if she went under the mansion and behind some things, weaved her way around and such she could access the locked room, meaning she should have it to herself. Finally settled on where she was staying? The calico bent down and set the fur on the ground, licking her lips and she watched it fall open revealing the meat she'd taken with including the heart of her last kill.

Re: Down To The Devils Show - heyyew - 07-27-2018

She had taken so much effort to get some privacy in the home she had found and left so long ago. Yet it was all for not, as eyes far seeing had sensed her the moment she stepped upon the land. Eyes that had turned away from their long standing project, watching Jiyu move about to a most private of places even Capone honestly hadn’t known about. That wasn’t to say she didn’t know plenty about mansion that The Rosebloods called their home.

“My my my.” Said Capone in a foreign, male sounding voice from behind Jiyu. It was the voice of one of Capone’s many souls that she had at one point devoured and made part of her. And she was using it for the sole purpose of freaking Jiyu out, if only for a second. “Does your mother know you eat like this?”

Her form was slightly transparent. Not because it needed to be persay, but because she choose to have it be. Capone didn't want anyone thinking that she was back in the flesh. Not yet at least. This spirit form would do for her.

Re: Down To The Devils Show - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 07-27-2018

Jiyu took her privacy seriously considering she was sometimes the sort of feline few could honestly get along with the calico liked having her space. The less she had to interact with everyone outside of necessity? The less chance she would get hurt once more and if her life had become one thing it had become an attempt to escape the unending pain inflicted on her from the second she was old enough to remember. Jiyu may have been royalty by blood so to speak but it had done nothing for her back when she was ignorant of it when she could have really used something like that to save herself. The youth that had made her into the perfectly dead monster she was, that had been enough pain for several lifetimes in her opinion! In her mind, she was very set on never being made to experience that sort of agony again, the process of having one's morality stripped away until not even immorality remained was agonizing. Heck, for a brief period of time she had not been alright with herself, of course, finding out who she was changed that forever. Whatever the mother was it stood that the eldest daughter had to become so much more to make her proud, and Capone was her mother!

The male voice twinged at her ears and she flicked them not turning her head right away, it was hard to make her show any sign of emotion, it had been tortured out of her before she really even got to understand it. Clearly, the calico had some emotions, but they were hard to access and when woke often diluted or twisted compared to normal cats. "Yes." a single word response, she clearly had not noticed who it was yet. Jiyu was a tad busy finishing off the heart after she had consumed the other scraps of meat she had also taken with, licking the blood from the sack. Not knowing who was behind her, she had deemed finishing her meal more important if whoever was there became a threat she would hear it and they would be sorely surprised to find out what she could do.

It was when she turned around that the calico stiffened briefly making her body look almost as if it was in rigor mortis. "Mother!" it slipped in the honey tone she had been born with before the static of her life overtook it, normally empty optics seeming to have an ounce of something poured into them. Jiyu didn't 'come to life' for much, but when she did anyone could be sure it was drastically important. "Of course you know I eat other cats! Though I admit I could likely do so more neatly, but where is the fun in that it's best bloody." the expression on her face was awkward with her almost fish dead optics and the fact it was clear she had never really properly learned an open mouth smile, but it was better than pretty much any other cat got out of her. "The heart is still the best part, especially if I can get to it before it's done beating." she only saved it for last if she couldn't get to the organ before it stopped pumping, feeling that final pump beneath her jaws as she bit down, was exhilarating, better yet if she could make eye contact with her victim at the same time, see them feel that last breath more painfully than anything leading up to it. "You should see the eyes of a cat as they feel fangs around their beating heart in their final moment, there's something there." not that she could describe it beyond that, the calico was fairly daft to emotions unless she could use them to manipulate others for her needs if she wasn't bored of doing it.

Capone was very nearly tempted to have more of a conversation with Jiyu without her realizing who she was. But the she-cat had finished the heart before the ghostly presence had had a chance. “Of course I knew.” Purred Capone fondly at her eldest daughter. The daughter she’d left behind in that battlefield.

What a fool she had been. She should have at least taken her children’s bodies rather than just assuming they were dead. Jiyu would have made a wonderful leader of the mansion. If only Capone had known of her existence. Hearing Jiyu rant on, it was striking how similar they were. Particularly considering that Capone had had nothing to do with her upbringing. But there were distinct differences of course.

But this rant? This was a rant Capone could get behind. “I can just imagine… The blood gushing into your mouth, pumping ever faster in fear towards its eminent demise… Say. Did I ever tell you your father actually gave me a cat’s heart? It was a fancy dinner of sorts, delightful… I’d dare say you were conceived that night.”

The control of talking to someone without them knowing who you actually were? Jiyu could easily forgive her mother for finding that ever so tempting to continue on with! The calico had her own experience with such things, mostly in the department of hiding who she was from some cat or convincing them she was something else, long enough so the reveal of the monster was even more painful for them and exhilarating for her. The purr from her mother's throat was enough to pull out a diluted purr of her own, it was so soft almost as if she couldn't, but it was something.

The idea of what could have happened if Capone took her with that day, the weak frail kitten born without breath who managed to fight for her first breaths second after her mother had turned away? That would have been a nice fantasy if she was the kind. Heck, the only way she could have grown up more twisted was if Capone had gotten to raise her and than she would likely be worse as she would have her emotions largely intact! They had their distinct differences, and the ones that existed could easily be taken as a sign Capone not getting to raise her had been a good thing for the rest of the world! If she was anymore similar to her mother than she already was? Well, the world could never be ready for two of mother dearest.

Having her mother to interact with was excellent, considering she had more than enough experience with cats who had not exactly embraced what they were. Knowing she came from a line of 'monsters' that were perfectly alright as such? Was empowering. "It just gushes so quickly it's almost enough to drown in, driven by the puncture, the fear, and the pain." the feline licked her lips easily recalling the taste of the heart she just had and wishing her victim had been strong enough to survive the torment so she could have taken that one beating. "Aaw, that's romantic!" one paw lifted slightly as she sat on her furry rump. "None of my mates have ever been that considerate." she almost seemed as if she was pouting for a second, but she wasn't very good at it, the expression was simply disfigured and twisted. "Certainly explains why I adore hearts so much, conceived to be a cannibal." with that comment she kept the weird smile on her maw brushing the small portion of skinned pelt she had used as a bag until it laid against the dresser of the room.

“What a shame I didn’t make a regular habit out of it. Would have been nice if all of them had turned out like you- or rather- me.” There had been a period of time where Capone had been so focused on getting an heir like her she had considered breeding with her sons until such a genetically identical heir was made. But she’d never gotten around to doing such a thing.

She had thought that even her loyal group of mansion cats would have their limitations. Looking back to what she had done to Fallout, she was pretty sure she could have gotten away with it.

“Lucious was a special one. Never met anyone like him after the fact.” Capone meowed with some level of fondness. The fact that he had appeared years later, some how alive, only to die on the doorstep of the mansion… Kind of made her wish she’d had enough cannibalistic tendencies to eat him then and there. “But all men will eventually let you down anyways so…” Capone sniffed dismissively, not even finding finishing that sentence with her time.

Re: Down To The Devils Show - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 07-27-2018

Having living siblings just like herself? That would have been an insanely wonderful thing, a little sister she could teach the perfect technique for grabbing a still-beating heart from a nearly dead terrified cat. "That would have been so nice!" the calico seemed to reflect in her mind for a second on something that never happened, which was different from fantasizing about what could have been, as Capone was still around to some degree. In Jiyu's mind? A sibling just like the two of them, was possible if her mother got determined enough. "I would be a great older sister, make sure she ate her first kill alive!" because face it, only a sister would be acceptable as it had to be some form of calico so it also looked like mother dearest! "The first thing I'd teach her is the bloodiest way to gut someone!" and then she could teach the small kitten the most effective way.

"There is always that special one." for the saber-toothed female that had been the leader of another group who managed to warm her nest twice, the only tom she had two litters by. "Mine could never accept me as I am." but he had felt like home when she was there and it had been what she needed. "I've found gender, nor life state, nor relation really keeps them from letting you down." the calico huffed the comment out best she could but really it sounded like an exaggerated sigh. "Oh yeah, did I tell you that I almost decided to have kits with my own ghostly half-sister not knowing we were related? One of the ones you had with Anthrax and Felix. She vanished before we really got to talk about it, not that it would have worked anyway, I doubt anyone would have been keen on it remaining a thing once it was realized we were related." it was almost as if she was a normal daughter having normal talk with her normal mother, but they both knew that wasn't the case and normal would be over-rated.

Re: Down To The Devils Show - heyyew - 07-27-2018

“Reminds me of this one time I had a litter with my full-brother. We hadn’t seen each other for years. And believe me when I say we both looked way different than we did when we were kits.” Half true. He looked way different, so she hadn’t recognized him. And she had faded from his memory due to a life time of living life away from The Elite.

But the pieces had eventually clicked for both of them. And when they did… Oh boy.

But Jiyu’s excitement over having a little sister like herself was getting Capone excited too. “But never mind that. There’s this project I’ve been working on for awhile now. A young daemon in fact. I’m certain you’d make a wonderful big sister for her one she’s completed.”

Capone wasn’t yet sure what gender the daemon would consider themselves. But that didn’t matter in the context of the conversation to her right now. “I know you’d just make the best influence for her.”

Re: Down To The Devils Show - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 07-27-2018

Hearing her mother's story the Calico would have chuckled if she was able, instead, she just stayed sitting there until mother dearest was done speaking about it. Jiyu was happy to know it seemed to run in the family nearly or actually having kits with relatives who you didn't know or had forgotten. Anything she found out about mother and their family? Only ever served to make her feel better about all the things she had once felt terrible over, gave her permission to be who she was in greater fullness.

Never mind it? Jiyu could get behind that, especially since she had the suspicion it was because mother had something much more entertaining in mind. The calico had never been given much time to get to know Capone in the past, but she knew plenty of what she heard and knew what her mother could be, adored it. "I Will!" the female stood up both of her ears flicking, the minor injury she had to the one almost unnotable. She would make the best big sister to another of mommy's little monsters! She couldn't always be the only little monster, she made do but it was lonely sometimes.

"What can I do mother?" if the daemon already had some project going, there was already something happening, Jiyu was certain! Whatever project Capone had rolled out, the calico wanted in someway if she could be of any help bringing her 'little sister' into the world any quicker.

Re: Down To The Devils Show - heyyew - 07-27-2018

“Well…” Capone meowed. Her daughter was so eager to help. And it was so hard to say no to those beautiful eyes. The working over of the soul would take some more time. And she wasn’t sure that Jiyu could help with that. But now that she thought of it… “You know… There is something you can do. Find me a vessel for your new little sister. Preferably something around three or so moons, maybe four. A calico like you want."

"And it doesn’t have to share our blood. Because no matter what, in spirit it will be my little girl, and your precious baby sister.” Capone was grinning like a maniac in her excitement. This was going to be the most exciting thing ever.
