HE’S A REAL NO WHERE MAN [p] - Dimitri - 07-27-2018

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI
He thought that Henri... was pretty weird. Dakota agreed with him but Divertimento was intrigued. Maybe the hyperactive alter say something in that forced smile. Dimitri didn’t know. Something about the eyes and the way the guy carried himself just... rose red flags with him. Dimitri wanted to see the good in people but... the fear of someone hurting them was always present. He’d made his disorder public days ago, and was wondering when he would experience the fallout from it. He sat quietly in his cabin now, looking through Dakota’s books for something to do. Maybe he should eat. [member=1631]HENRI[/member]

Re: HE’S A REAL NO WHERE MAN [p] - madster - 07-30-2018
henri had joined with one goal- to recruit people to the church of belial so that belial would have more sacrifices. every month, one of them died, and he knew the longer he went without building up a following the less and less members he'd have back at home. of course, that was the issue with death-based religions- he had to break even, of course, which meant he needed more than one joiner every month. so far, he hadn't really convinced anybody, but he wasn't in active prophet mode. after all, belial hadn't talked to him in a while, so he was laying low. his secondary goal was to figure out his feelings for caesar cipher, the man living in the typhoon. he was intriguing and henri found himself wanting to be close to atbash, if only she was a proxy for the other cipher. he had been walking, deep in thought, when he saw dimitri's cabin. dimitri- wasn't that the strange multiple-personality kid? henri had never experienced it first hand- most of the people he surrounded himself with were a little mentally ill, sure, but not to the extent that dimitri was. henri narrowed his dead eyes in thought. were they truly different people living in him, or a really complicated coping method? henri decided to pay him a little visit. he padded into the cabin, putting his sunglasses on. "greetings and salutations, dimitri! what are you doing?" he asked, the trademark fake smile plastered on his alabaster face. "you're not too busy for me, are you?" "DUPLICATE" DIMITRI Maybe He should check out Brid’s book- he jumped and scrambled to the top of his bookcase, turning. His fur was up and tail held close in a defensive posture. "Ah!” He wheezed, fur relaxing as he realized it was just Henri. "Was- was my door open? Please don’t come into my house without knocking, Henri.” “I’m just looking for something to read...”

Re: HE’S A REAL NO WHERE MAN [p] - madster - 07-31-2018
henri feigned surprise. "oh! sorry, the door was open... i think. i didn't even know there was a door," he answered, shifting his weight, tilting his head. he had just walked through, after all, so he reasoned the door was open. of course, he was in foreign territory now. not really, as he was still in snowbound, but this was an area that henri hadn't mapped out in his head. "but i'll be sure to knock next time!" what the hell was knocking? henri narrowed his useless eyes in thought but couldn't come up with a reason. "reading's nice, huh?" he asked, the grin returning to his face. of course, henri couldn't read traditional texts. he could read braille, though, and he owned plenty books in braille back at the church. he hadn't brought any of them with him. "say, uh... i'm just curious about your personality thing. i think there's a name for it- do you want to talk about it?" he asked kindly, batting his eyelashes. "DUPLICATE" DIMITRI
It took a long moment for Dimitri to realize that Henri didn't have a clue what his strange room looked like. The clearly drawn areas designated to each alter and the separation. The closet hoarding of them, and the areas for each one. "Don't uh, go to your right. Daisy has paints sitting out." He warned, hopping back down from the bookshelf and dragging out a blanket for Henri and laying it by his basket. "Yeah sure. Come over here. We can talk about it..."
