ALL THE OTHER KIDS - open, swimming

man, the beach was beautiful! rinto had been spending the day relaxing on a hammock, looking over the sparkling water. he didn't want to think today- if left bored for too long, his mind wandered to dark places he didn't exactly want to revisit. here, though, he couldn't stop thinking about how lucky he was to here, on basically an island paradise. he had escaped an abusive father and his own sins by coming here. if he hadn't found the typhoon, he would likely be dead. that wasn't a super fun thought, he realized, and hopped off the hammock.

"hey, does anybody w-want to go swimming with me?" he asked hopefully, taking off his socks and backpack, leaving them in the white sand. of course, his band-aids might get ruined in the water, but he always had more. "it'll be fun!" he announced. unlike most cats, rinto loved water. he stepped in and relaxed immediately as the cool ocean cooled his body, and finally he was at peace.

THOR

Besides the fact that this island paradise had food, food, and more food, it was rather beautiful. Clear waters, vibrant foliage, perfect weather... Thor had never been anywhere like it. And now that he was apart of this "Typhoon", he could explore it all he wanted.

The bear had been near the beach when the unfamiliar cat chirped up a suggestion to enter the water for a swim. As a bear, he had no problem with getting his paws wet. In fact, he liked it! It was hot out, so what better way was there to cool down? He lumbered onto the sand and rumbled with a small grin, "I'll go."

goldie loves swimming. she loves it. but, she couldn't do it for the past month. her electricity elementals spread like electricity in water and she didn't know exactly how to control that yet. her injuries were getting better, but they still hindered her ability to move and it certainly wouldn't be responsible for her to go swimming with them. she missed it.

so, hearing rinto call out that he was going swimming, she felt a bit of disappointment enter her. her ears lowered slightly and she gave a small, unsure smile to the male. "a-ah, i'd love to, but i c-can't right now." she answered, coughing a couple of times. her flu was definitely going away, but it was still apparent with her strained voice and stuffed nose. "maybe i can just watch from here?" it was probably be for the best, honestly - not that she saw it that way.

"Nonsense, Dee! Of course you can." Vandal is oblivious to her niece's electric malfunction, only aware of her recent sickness and her inability to be properly mobile due to it. Because of this, she thinks there'll be some way she can help, perhaps by carrying her on her back like she often loves to do, bouncing over with an excited look on her face.

It comes as no surprise that the mutated Roux is a fan of swimming - not just swimming, but surfing, diving, and even something as simple as flying and skimming her talons across the water's surface. She approaches the three Typhooners (gods, she still doesn't know what exactly they should be called) and nods her head in affirmation. "If that ain't enough indication for ya, I'd love t'go swimming!"
