lit like a movie scene — event invite - guts - 07-23-2018

It was only now that Aizawa realized he had never really seen where they lived. It was a fairly long walk, and by the time he arrived, he was huffing and yawning. He wasn't used to being up and about so much anymore, so his body wasn't the same as it used to be. But he managed nevertheless, his tired eyes scanning the landscape as he sat back, waiting at the border. It didn't seem like a bad place, a lot warmer than the tundra, which was already a good thing.

"Aizawa Shota, second in command of Snowbound," he says once someone approaches, whoever it may be. "I have an invitation. We're hosting an event, and we would love to have you all come by," the lion stops then, expecting a few questions, though he didn't want to give too much away--at least not yet.

Re: lit like a movie scene — event invite - MOONMADE - 07-23-2018

[size=9pt]Moon was out and about doing various chores and shit, like a proper housewife, when he spotted the stranger at their border. They stood with a sense of purpose, like they were they for a reason and not just to uneasily request to join, so he b-lined their way instead of pretending he didn't notice them. Plus, this was a lion. One of his own damn kind. It'd been a while. "Invitation accepted." He says, head high and voice curt to resemble the seriousness he's seen his Clanmate exude when they're met with another Clan's messenger. "You can bet your unusually dark ass we'll be there." His formal facade obviously doesn't last long, but who can blame him-- he's never seen a black lion before. "And, hey," he says, winking at Aizawa like they were both in on a secret that no one else was, like they were both in Fight Club but Moon wasn't being very subtle about his Membership. "Hakuna Matata."

Re: lit like a movie scene — event invite - imperia - 07-23-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: georgia;"]Although Imperia has not lost her grace, the concussion definitely inhibits her speed. Instead of drifting along as she usually does, it is more of a dreamy, meandering pace; like time has no effect on her. Peri still gets where she's going, but it will be a couple of days before it is at any reasonable pace. This does not keep her from her duties, of course. After a sufficient amount of rest, the girl is out and about as usual. One might argue that she should not be so far out into the plains, but Peri is merely concussed. It slows basic function down a little, but it's not like she has a collapsed lung, or something. Besides, the she-wolf has difficulty staying in one place for too long. In the distance, she spots Moonmade heading to greet a stranger at the border. She hurries to catch up, and arrives just in time to hear the end of the announcement.

An invitation? "An invitation to what, might I ask?" it's an honest question. Peri probably missed Aizawa saying what it's for, but it's good to double check. She wears a friendly smile, although her focus lingers on the space around the Snowseeker. He is blue, and a little grey. Not physically, of course, but his aura. Perhaps he is tired from travel? On the contrary, Moon is orange and yellow. All impishness and youthful energy. It is going to strange adjusting to seeing emotions as colors, but it's not so bad.

Re: lit like a movie scene — event invite - guts - 07-23-2018

Aizawa gives the other lion an odd look, puzzled by his words. He himself hadn't seen many other lions, and it's almost odd to see one now. Nevertheless, he's saved as Imperia walks up, his gaze shifting over to her. There was the inquiry he was waiting for. An almost ominous grin on his face, he simply shrugs his shoulders. "Just a small event I've prepared--a game of sorts," he probably sounded suspicious, but whatever. The invitation had already been accepted.

"A game? Is it something like hide and seek? Or sparring?" Thea tilted her head, curious. The Fireball offered the stranger her usual smile, as if that would get her an answer.

Not that she cared. She'd probably attend anyways. The Arabian leopard's tail flicked back and forth, curious as to what snow looked like. It seemed any that had been stuck to the lion had melted off of Aizawa's fur, so she's a bit disappointed.

Re: lit like a movie scene — event invite - VERSAILLESPALACE - 07-23-2018

Versailles has to wonder why she keeps on seeing Imperia and Moon together - this isn't the first time she's thought about what could possibly be occurring between them, but she keeps her thought to herself for the most part and wanders over to stand on the other side of the Cleric, looking at the stranger on their borders talking about something called... Snowbound? Versailles is unfamiliar with the title, the name, and the confusion subtly dances across her golden eyes as she looks from the stranger, to Moonmade, to Imperia, then to Thea, then back to the stranger.

She doesn't know about the other groups. All she's ever known is the Ascendants. She hasn't explored past the border since crossing it the first time to join, and has never really heart of the others - apart from the announcement. She remembers it now, her brother saying something about them being 'allied' to Snowbound but... who is Snowbound? What do they have to offer? Why did her brother accept an alliance with them? She knows she shouldn't doubt Bast's judgement, but a part of still wonders whether it's something that's going to work.

She peeks out from between Moon and Imperia, eyes glinting curiously before rounding both Ascendants to peer fully at the Snowbound... Snowbounder? Snowbound? He's being vague, and it doesn't sit well on her tongue. She doesn't understand the need for things to be left unclear - that just leads to being horribly unprepared, something that she does not look forward to. "What kind of game?"

He only smirks more as they continue to pry, the male standing and turning. Before he left, though, he would glance over his shoulder and motion towards the direction of Snowbound. "You'll have to come and see for yourself," with that, he pads away.

BASTILLEPRISONER AURELIUS
BY THE GRACE OF THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES
[b]"Well, when you put it that way," Bastille drawled lazily as he joined them, just in time to see the Snowbounder headed out. His parting words seemed to imply some sort of invite, and the bengal yawned before giving a shrug of his shoulder. "I guess we're going, then." He cast a sideways glance at his sister, eyed the others briefly, and then headed after Aizawa.

Re: lit like a movie scene — event invite - Roy Mustang - 07-25-2018

Well, this is certainly interesting. The Flame Alchemist made his way over, padding in after Bastilleprisoner. They are finally allies with Snowbound, after acting like allies while neutrals for weeks, and they were already inviting them to events. But, Aizawa wasn't explaining what the game was about- which leaves it open for many possibilities. Roy didn't really participate in games, but considering he's an Ambassador for Snowbound, he'll attend. It'd look bad on his part if he didn't, after all. "Thank you for the invite," Roy said with a flick of his ear, wondering what he was about to get himself into. He better not regret this!
