THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - VIGENERE CIPHER. - 07-23-2018 Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - galexiux - 07-23-2018 Cry stared down at the two from a pine tree. Useful thing about being a bird, most people thought you were some sort of wild animal versus an actual member of a society. She was always good for espionage. It was what she was bred for, after all. The bird blinked, tilting her head. What did they want with 'Bash anyways? Didn't she say something once about her brothers trying to hurt her? Did they come back to finish the job?? She puffed up, glaring down at the two (?). She had to stay on high alert. She opened her wings. She could use her clueless facade to her advantage. She landed on the ground in front of the yellow cat. She reached behind her head with a talon, scratching at her head before crying out Message! Message! Please leave a message after the beep! Atbash is unavailable at this time and I'll get to her for you! Please go away! "SPEECH" Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - Morgan - 07-23-2018
Morgan followed close behind Vigenere, who seemed to have quite a bit more energy than he was expecting after their crash landing. The bird that approached them quite clearly had the presence of a non-feral animal, so Morgan turned and spoke to her normally. "Vigenere here is the Ambassador from Tanglewood, and I am its Deputy. We're not here to cause trouble; we're here because Atbash might be in danger." He caught his breath, focusing on heating the water on his pelt and memorizing the aura of the avian before him.
"Please - this really is important. I don't know if there's much else I can say to convince you, but..." He took one of his two pouches and set it down on the ground. "I do have gifts to show our good will." He opened up the bag so its contents were visible. Inside was a mask, a bottle of toxic swamp water, a bundle of Tanglewood's local herbs, and a book, The Great Gatsby. "This water is dangerous; it might be a useful weapon if Snowbound ever needs it. I'd appreciate if Atbash herself picked up these gifts, but I wanted to show that we aren't going to attack anyone." Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - galexiux - 07-23-2018 Cry's eyes hardened. She blinked, scanning the gifts over. Their feelings felt sincere... but... she just couldn't shake the feeling. Something terrible was about to happen. A mask, swamp water, herbs and a.... ew the book Dimitri was reading. She snarled slightly at the sight of it, but quickly went back to her usual poker face. She fluffed herself up, turning to Vigenere. She stared at the male for a few solid moments before breaking her gaze. She fluffed up. Fine. She spat out, opening her wings and turning around. They better stay there or they'd be dealing with her. Time to go find 'Bash, she supposed. Cry didn't exactly tell her why she was needed, but as soon as she saw bright yellow fur on the horizon, her heart started to pound. Was Caesar back? No, that couldn't be him. First of all, she couldn't smell the scent of decay, nor the ocean. In fact, she almost smelled sulfur. Vigenere? But why would he be here? He pushed her away, claimed he needed some time to think. But no, that was him. "Vigenere!" Atbash cried out her older brother's name, racing over to him. Immediately she pressed herself against him, burying her face in his fur. "Why are you here?" She moved away from him, narrowing her eyes at the Tangler for a couple moments before her gaze fell upon Morgan. Oh, he had a friend with him. Atbash shook out her fur, suddenly a bit embarrassed for that show of emotions. She was Snowbound's leader. Or did they even know that? No matter, the fact that a leader acted like that was pathetic, wasn't it? She should have held herself back. "I'm Atbash." The Hailcaller decided to introduce herself, as if that wasn't obvious by now. "Cry says you bring gifts?" bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi
Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - galexiux - 07-23-2018 The raven landed beside Atbash, staring up at the yellow cat. She clicked her beak, staying silent. She had no reason to talk to these strange folk. She would just be here encase Atbash was put into danger. "SPEECH" Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - guts - 07-23-2018
Aizawa didn't know much about Atbash's relationship with her brothers, nor did he believe it was much of his business either way. But protecting her was his business, especially as her deputy. He didn't know why Cry was in such arms about them being here, yet he knew it probably wasn't anything good, even if she usually was a bit disagreeable most of the time. She hopefully had a good reason to be so unsure about their presence. Padding up, he studied the two Tanglewooders, particularly the canine with the mask. It was an odd sight, but so far it wasn't the weirdest thing he had seen. "Welcome to Snowbound, I suppose," he says as Atbash finally arrives, the lion stepping closer to her protectively. He wasn't sure what they wanted, and he definitely hadn't heard great things about their clan, so he was on edge--even if they were warning them for whatever reason. "SPEECH" Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - Dimitri - 07-23-2018 Dimitri approached now, staring at the two worriedly and keeping quiet.
"speech" Re: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING // open, Tanglewood visitors - NUI HARIME - 07-23-2018 ASPIRING FIRES ! nui harime — female — snowbound — eaglehunter — hard physicality treading through the snow on nimble paws, nui's gaze raked over the newcomers with curiosity. her paws crunched through the snow as she approached, making no effort to silence her steps in the presence of these new arrivals. tanglewood, huh? she had not seen of those with affiliations to other clans since her journey into this strange world, and the felidae was deeply intrigued. she, herself, wished to know more about them. to pry their secrets and their culture from their very brains; their very hearts themselves. a single moment in contact with a neighboring clan and she wanted to know them like she knew the grooves of her pink little paw pads. they brought gifts which piqued the eaglehunter's interest, singular eye shining with delight. how wonderful. she vaguely wondered if snowbound and tanglewood were allies. she did not know much about her clan's politics after all, but they seemed to be on good terms, given this visit. henri was next to pad over- well, not really normally walking, but shuffling over, not lifting his paws off the ground. he looked ridiculous, but he was trying to get a feel of his location. he squinted underneath his glasses, smelling. there were so many voices, so many smells, but he kept calm. after all, he was a people person and knew how to keep calm under the pressure. he could recognize atbash, but not the unfamiliar, swampy scents. he found a comfortable position next to dimitri. tanglewood, huh? he grinned, not moving his head when he talked and he adjusted his sunglasses. "welcome to snowbound!" he said enthusiastically. henri then frowned. "she's in danger? huh." he said, realizing he would be useless in protecting his leader in any sense. |
