— TENGRI is the great god, god of the sky and the father of all who walk the plains. He is seen to be the source of all power, leaders that are worthy are supported and guided by Tengri, whilst he abandons those who are not and they will die. As for his personality, he acts as a fair judge, giving rewards to those who deserve them and damning those who do not. Praying to Tengri is usually done for guidance in one's actions or to ask for rain or changes in weather.

— YER-SUB is Tengri's favourite wife and commands the fate of mortals. Whilst Tengri acts as a force of justice, it is Yer-Sub who decides the fates of mortals. She is regarded as the second most powerful god, the Goddess who gives life to the hunters of the plains and keeps them alive. Once her spark is gone, the person grows frail and weak.

— UMAI is another of Tengri's wives and is the Goddess of Benevolent spirits and the Goddess with which Temulin is most frequently assosciated. She gives her gifts to mankind, allowing them to perform miraculous feats and her spirits aid them. Her rituals give her shamans the power to drive off the evil spirits and sons and daughters of Erlik. Animals are not sacrificed to Umai, but cooked meats and dairy products are offered.

— EARTH MOTHER is the the Goddess of the land and fertility. Her children are the hunters and raiders that walk the plains and she is the wife of Tengri. She is often prayed for good harvest, fertility and the protection of women and children. Sacrifices to her include milk, kumys and tea.

— ERLIK is the brother of Eje and the God of the Underworld and of spirits. If he is not respected, he unleashes his sons and daughters upon the mortal world, causing anger, strife and pain in the world. When placated however, he simply punishes the sinners and guides souls of the damned and dead to their rightful places. Sacrifices usually include animals with defects or broken limbs.
