Dorian is quite the specimen with his lean, well-muscled build while maintaining an air of both grace and dignity. His posture never fails in harboring squared shoulders, a straight spine, and a chin lifted ever so slightly in a manner that adds to his appearance of nobility, although it should not be mistaken for haughtiness- though that is, at times, present, but only in jest.
Dorian often calls himself pretty, which isn't a mere declaration. Instead, it is -and this would definitely inflate his pride- an underestimation. 'Pretty' is most commonly associated with something delicate and fragile, much like a teacup, but in Dorian's case, he manages to blend 'pretty' with 'striking', or with 'dignified', often both. His features are distinct, made of aristocratic lines and symmetry, traits that are paired with an immaculately kept mane and eyes that never fail to be given extra definition by the lining of kohl.
Dorian's eyes are a rather intense pair, in the sense that they often convey emotions that he won't otherwise state or reveal. They may snap with anger, or they may dance with amusement, soften with adoration that is less obvious than the others and unknown to the recipient unless they are familiar. His visionaries are well shaped, spaced apart perfectly, and their irises are a stormy gray, not quite a blue. Above these eyes are his ears, one of which is pierced three times, one with a golden hoop and the other two bearing a gold chain thread that is attached to aurelian bands clipped to his ear.
Dorian is mostly free of scars, his fur thick enough to hide the scrapes from childhood and from battle, but there is a prominent scar on his shoulder, where a bite mark rests. The surrounding fur masks most of it, but it is nonetheless noticeable; however, he never makes any attempts to cover it up, possibly due to how he received it.
Concerning his pelt, it is a dark ebony, reflecting no light to make a raven sheen; no, it is but a black canvas stretched over a finely structured form. It is rarely disheveled, most frequently styled to the point where it seems not a single piece of his hair would dare to stray. Whenever it is anything other than perfectly groomed, it raises awareness to possible stress that he may be under.

[div style="text-align: justify; letter-spacing: -1px; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 10pt; line-height:.9; width:60%"]Dorian is, admittedly, a bit tricky to pin down, but only because he is a bit of a chameleon, in the sense that he has a persona he reserves for those he hardly knows and a persona for those he does. It isn't as much of a completely separate demeanor as it is a single shade of who he is- he is polite when around strangers, but he is also civil around others, simply in varying degrees. Fifty Shades of Dorian, although there might not be that many, and if there are, they're minor details when compared to the larger attributes of his demeanor.
Dorian, for all of his bluster and sometimes even biting words, is a caring individual, and if someone knows how to look, it won't be difficult to see that he truly wears his heart on his sleeve. That arm is often kept behind his back, but it is bared nonetheless, even when he succeeds in his smothering of expressions should he find it necessary. He's a warm man who cares very much for his people, despite -or perhaps because of- their flaws.
He comes from a background of high status, so it is only fitting that he be an eloquent, well spoken individual who has a way with words. It might not always be obvious, but he is often quick with a quip or a witty remark, and finds himself frequently in a position where he must smooth things over, if he doesn't decide beforehand that he prefers to let the matter resolve itself. He could be described as a diplomat, though personally he does not credit himself with such a title.
Aside from being refined, he does have his flaws, pride being one of them. Dorian values his dignity highly, and he isn't fond of being the first to capitulate, despite his ability to accept defeat. His appearance is the result of that pride, which is in turn a result of his upbringing, which taught him to be presentable at all times. It only makes sense that one of the things he has cultivated for all his life is a source of pride for him, meaning his appearance is taken quite seriously.
