CHERISHED || kidnapped - Pele N. F. I. - 07-16-2018 ![]() STAR CHILD
Okay, okay so she really should've asked someone to come with her when she decided to go gathering today. She did tell a few members that she was going out, where she would be. She'd taken Elio with her, though he wasn't much help other than pointing out what things he wanted. They were going out to grab herbs, tea leaves and food. They hadn't come back.She'd been 'out' for most of the day, starting at dawn and it was now close to dusk. She should've been home already, she'd definitely missed tea time, and then later dinner. It wasn't like her to stay out in the territory out late. If she was looking at stars, she stayed near Cooper's room. It should be concerning. No one would know she was gone until they found the overturned bag, Elio frantically squeaking inside, herbs and food spilling out. The necklace Margy had given her broken at the chain a little ways off from it. Everything reeked of the Typhoon. Re: CHERISHED || kidnapped - Roy Mustang - 07-16-2018 ![]()
It was pretty known by everyone that Roy was protective of his adopted daughter, Aaliyah. Roy didn't want her to be by herself, not in the observatory, and especially not in the territory. It was always one of Roy's fears that Aaliyah would slip away from their grasp and wander through the territory by herself. Children do not always understand the reason why their parents do not want them out there alone. They are young, innocent, and haven't seen the world for it really is- a dangerous, cruel world. They wouldn't think they'd be vulnerable, easy to snatch- unless someone told them. Or, the worst option possible- they learn it themselves. If Aaliyah was kidnapped by someone, Roy would be frantic. He wouldn't sleep until she was found, he'd blame himself for her disappearance and any type of harm she went through. He would never forgive himself, he knew exactly what goes through a parents head when a child goes missing now. It's a horrible, terrifying, feeling. When Roy was patrolling the territory at dusk, his last patrol before he went back to the safety of the observatory, his scent caught a whiff of the Typhoon. It was strange to smell a group this late at night, what could they possibly want? When Roy began to head in the direction of the smell, he thought he'd be lead to a group of waiting Typhoon members. Instead, he found an empty scene, until he looked at the ground(Elio's frantic squeaking caught his attention) and saw the mess before him. That was Pele's bag, herbs and food were split everywhere, and a charm necklace given to Pele from Margaery was broken into pieces. "Oh fuck," The male muttered under his breath, as he attempted to lift the bag off of Elio, setting it to the side. The Typhoon's scent was literally all of this- he couldn't get that horrid smell out of his nostrils. "Pele!" He yelled out at the top of his lunges, looking around in the area, hoping to catch Pele's scent or hear her young voice. But after a few moments of waiting, Roy got nothing. It was then, Roy decided the worst thing possible occurred- the Typhoon stole Pele. Roy began to feel his paws shake with anger, ears drawing back to his skull. While Pele might not be his child, due to being a parent, he felt anger pulse through his veins. Roy would never, ever want any harm to come to Aaliyah, or any young child in that matter. He could only wonder what sick, twisted thoughts are running through someone's mind when they tear a child away from their only safety. There are some truly awful, disgusting people in this world. Roy can only hope he can burn the life out of them if they dare to cause harm to Pele. Roy won't care if they are suppose to be the peaceful group- Roy doesn't have the same mentality of his clanmates. He'll make the Typhoon realize that not every Ascendant member is a pacifist, and that all hell breaks loose when they mess with them- especially when they go for an innocent child. "The Typhoon stole Pele... How fucking dare they!" The Flame Alchemist almost snarled, flint claws digging deep into the earth. Re: CHERISHED || kidnapped - melody - 07-16-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 55%; font-family: arial; font-size: 11pt; text-align: justify;"]Melody was of course far too young to leave camp, but she'd been developing a habit of wandering around alone and occasionally she found things that were interesting. She wasn't too young or too stupid to understand that a lost bag and a broken necklace usually meant something bad. "What happened?" Her little voice asked as she went over warily, frightened by Roy's shouting. Mels, being a little kitten out alone, totally proved Roy's point about kids not always understanding adults' reasons for trying to keep them safe. She tottered over to the bag, sniffing at it. Her nose crinkled at the unfamiliar smell of the Typhoon. "Bad smell." She murmured, rubbing her nose with a paw as if that would dissipate the smell. "What's fucking?" It was a word he'd used, and Mels didn't know it. She looked up at Roy as she said it, big yellow eyes not knowing at all what kind of a word it was. Re: CHERISHED || kidnapped - madster - 07-16-2018
the next to approach was meri at the sound of commotion. he arrived in time to hear roy announce the typhoon had stolen pele, and it put him on edge. pele... wasn't that a fucking kid? the typhoon kidnapped a child? merihem knew he was a fighter, not a lover, yet an undeniable anger bubbled up inside of him like champagne. "well, we have to get her back, don't we?" the lithe cat said, batting an eyelash. he looked at melody. if this was anybody who wasn't a child, merihem would have grinned and said something horrible, but he had restraint around a kid. "it's a mean word. don't use it," he told her, then glanced back. "not around your parents, anyways. i don't fuckin' care if you say it around me." he was a great influence. he didn't have that much of a connection to pele, so he didn't feel as strongly about the situation as roy did. "what are we gonna do? charge in there and demand they give her back or something? cause' i feel like that will end up in all asses being collectively kicked." Re: CHERISHED || kidnapped - Suiteheart - 07-17-2018 SUITE
HEART
The scent of the Typhoon caused a chill to creep down her spine. Since the disappearance of her daughter, Lilyspoise, she no longer trusted the pirates. She blamed them for Lil's absence. Suiteheart just knew that lousy lot had caused her daughter to leave. Now, every time she smelled the jungles and saltwater of the Typhoon, a horrendous anger bloomed in her chest, shutting out all other feelings and masking the tremendous loss she felt over Lilyspoise.
On weary paws, she made her way towards the scent. She hated to think this was some sort of ambush or trespasser - but if it were a trespasser, she would have a wonderful late-night snack. As she crested a small hill, her eyes caught Roy, Melody, and Merihem. Roy's frantic movements and his screaming caused her to freeze in place. Pele. Without sound, the white feline moved forward, not stopping until she was beside Pele's bag. The scent that lingered beside it was still fresh, and her eyes moved towards the horizon, towards the Typhoon's territory. It took every fiber of her being to not rush off for them. She was trembling in rage, however, as her baby blue gaze returned to Pele's belongings. "We'll get her back," Suiteheart answered, voice quiet, seething. "Bast'll tell us the game plan, and we'll go from there." He didn't understand a lot of the words being thrown around, but he could glean enough information to understand what had happened. One of the other groups had stolen a child away. "How horrible..." Nero spoke, his heart pounding behind his ribs. The last thing he wanted was a large scale fight with another group. The experience he had with Playerone was enough violence for a lifetime, and he chewed worriedly on his lip. "Can't we just ask them nicely to give her back?" He asked meekly, hoping that the whole thing was just one big misunderstanding. He couldn't fathom stealing a child away from their home, so he had begged the gods internally that she had gone with them willingly for sightseeing or supplies. But Nero wasn't stupid. He knew that the broken chain and the mess in general suggested otherwise. He hung his head in defeat, staring at his claws with watering eyes. He had to prepare himself for a fight. His mental promise to never willingly spill blood didn't apply in situations like this.
