SHARPSHOOTER — open, discussion - PINCHER - 03-24-2018

[align=center]
[size=11px]❝ GOD DAMN RIGHT, YOU SHOULD BE SCARED OF ME ❞
[size=8pt]it seemed things were going to be different. more diplomatic. more civilized, whatever the fuck that meant. he knew his crew and the house were not barbarians but they were both on the same coin that was tainted with blood. they all had their way of fighting, they all had techniques that did them best. but to actually create an alliance? now, that was different and pincher wanted to see how the others would take to his decision. as the mottled figure stepped out of the ship of the blackjack rats, he stalked down the board and began to walk towards the damned turtle statue with his jaws clamped around a bottle of rum and a small dagger. his bright arctic ice blue eyes were emotionless, lacking any crack of vision in what was running through his head. as much as high ranking pincher was, he didn't really believe in that whole "i make all the choices, deal with it" kind of leadership. he trusted his crew enough to hear their suggestions and as much of a selfish bastard, the bengal was, he was one to listen and think about the words that have been said.

"oi, listen up! quick ol' discussion so if you want your voice to be heard, drag ya ass here now!" snapped the somali bengal crossed hybrid as he went into a slouched relaxed sitting position in front of the turtle statue, the cool shadow enveloping the built figure of the captain. he glanced down at the two items that he had picked, the bottle on one side of him and the other the dagger. his nicked ear twitched as he thought and contemplated on what would be the reactions of his group. "now you may have heard there are groups out there that have recently visited in the lighthouse. i met three other leaders and hell, did i take notes. there is a more passive group known as the ascendants, they seem like decent folk. at first, i thought why not go pillage the fuck out of them? they do have some decent things there but...i believe that instead of going through all that trouble, why not become allies? the leader ain't half-bad but you all need to state if you agree or not in my decision. as annoying you lot are, i still believe in the equal democracy of this group. so state your say and shut the hell up." explained pincher, raising an unsheathed long claw to pick at his teeth, fishing out for some crab meat he had been enjoying earlier. he did not exactly really seem interested in what would be said but he knew he had to unless he wanted to find a knife to his throat and being overtaken by his own lads. too much power could lead to corruption and that was a headache that pincher did not have the time for.

Icy blue hues landed upon the figure of the captain on that godforsaken turtle statue, and his massive paws led him towards the other inquisitively. A discussion, eh? Good, because he might just have a bit of shit to say on the matter. Iosef didn't care if people disliked his viewpoint or however they regarded it, but if he had something to say, his voice should damn well be taken into consideration. Otherwise this discussion would be a massive waste of time, time that could've been used in more productive manners. He didn't have much to say about Pincher himself; sure, he was an ass, and probably a drunkard as it appeared, but damn it, he was the head honcho of the Nautical Mile. He was who they answered to, and unless the tiger violently intervened, it was going to stay that way. Not that he wasn't a patient fellow—he'd wait when the time came. But for now he would listen to the way the bengal spoke, what he spoke of and his tone. Something about alliances, it would seem.

It would be strange for a rowdy warbound group such as the Typhoon to forge connections with another "Clan" or whatever the hell they were going to call them, but he assumed that in the end it'd be necessary to have at least one other power covering their backs. The problem was that Iosef didn't know who the hell the other leaders were. It was too vague a discussion to contribute to, but he'd give it a shot anyway. "It might seem simpler to pillage the others, but I also firmly believe that we should have at least one other group supporting us in times of need. We may be strong, but we cannot take down entities much larger than an invasion patrol by ourselves if the time arises," the snow-white Siberian tiger began. Despite his heritage, his English was impressive: he was even beginning to prefer it to his native Russian, and his accent had diminished a bit so that it sounded softer, far less thick that it initially was. "Now, about this 'Ascendants' group, what would they be willing to offer us, and what are they expecting of us? Protection? Little careless shindigs? Everyone wants something another group has." He supposed that the situation could be far simpler than he was imagining it: maybe it was just a partner during times of war and a friend in times of peace, no strings attached. But he had never met the Ascendants' leader before, only heard of them just now through Pincher, and he wasn't sure what to expect with that.

[color=#d4af37]Pillaging would be mean.” It was almost as if the entire theme, motif, style, modus operandi, schtick, genre, flavor, and category of the Typhoon had sailed clear over the speckled airhead’s big ears and landed with an ignored plurp in the deep blue sea. She puffed her cheeks up, looking hellbent on defending this position. “[color=#d4af37]Friendship is never not good! We should make as many friends as we can because- because that’s good.” She paused, tipping her head to one side in thought, watching Iosef. “[color=#d4af37]That too! It’s better to make friends before you do nasty stuff. You never know when you’ll need help if you get in over your head.” Though, that was the extent of her agreement with the tiger. Georgie couldn’t care less what they had. Camaraderie was good enough for her.

Re: SHARPSHOOTER — open, discussion - Guru - 03-25-2018

How disappointing. Guru visibly deflated at his words about not being able to pillage the Ascendants. Seeing that they were such a viable target for her, she was truly disappointed that she could not take a hit on them. Back to Tanglewood and Snowbound it seemed... The caracal only stayed silent for now. Her opinion, though this was a democracy, didn't seem like it was necessarily when most of the members were in favor of the alliance with the Ascendants. Though, there was a chance of slicing open the other two. Since they technically weren't aligned with them for now, they were free targets for her. Seeing that mentioning that would probably ruin her chances, she continued to remain quiet.
