past the point of no return ♡ joining/return - Leigh - 07-15-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — It would have been easier to just remain as Leigh- to return to Snowbound and just integrate himself back into life in snowy paradise. But it was never that easy. The last anyone had heard of him was that he had gone missing- presumed to be dead, he's sure. He hadn't left anything behind to tell anyone otherwise. No note. Not even a goodbye or a meeting announcing his official stepping down. He had just given up and left under the cover of night, guilt ridden and sick of himself. Leigh was not a leader. He never was. Even a few of those that had come along with him in the very beginning of Snowbound's founding must have thought of him as a joke. He didn't blame them of course. But he did try, as much as he beat himself up over and over, he really did try to lead the best he could. But the pressure finally crashed down on top of him and he fled. Leigh. The name held memories of frustration- anger for leaving his parents and siblings and home- anger for thinking he could handle things on his own- anger for being a coward and betraying his own clan. That name had been the first to go, and for a few weeks upon his leave, he went without a name. He lived among other nomads, sharing stories and tales of far off lands. It was from them that he began to focus on his magic, learning slowly, but steadily. It started with simple card tricks and he worked from there. Over time, he donned a new name- Magicatricks. He even managed to learn to shapeshift and give himself a new body- one of a vulture, resplendent and beautiful. He could fly too- something he'd always dreamed of doing. He finally had a fresh start and it was oh so liberating. Eventually, Magika had started going off on his own again, soaring the skies and dipping through the cold currents over the tundra Snowbound called home. What interested him was the small village that lay tucked away, and down he flew, landing near the outside of town and peering about curiously. Adjusting the small satchel slung over his shoulder, he approached the streets. Strangely enough, he had no idea that this was Snowbound's new home. So the large bird would remain blissfully unaware as he kept an eye out for any locals. He could only hope they were kind enough to welcome him. riiip this is lame but whatever this asshole's back// Re: past the point of no return ♡ joining/return - ATBASH CIPHER. - 07-15-2018 ATBASH CIPHER i should've said what i hear i should have let myself fear
The fact that there was somebody Atbash didn't recognize in camp was alarming. She thought that their camp was safely hidden away, but yet here Migikatricks was, in camp and walking around. But at least the guy didn't seem too threatening, right? "Uh, hey there!" Atbash called out to Magikatricks, running to catch up with him. "You're in Snowbound's camp." Was that how she was supposed to approach this situation? Sure, she knew the typical 'name and business' thing, but that was usually for visitors at the border and in the territory, and not in camp, right? "Do you have a reason for being here?" Maybe they were here to buy from the shops or something, but still... They could've at least waited at the border for somebody to escort them here, right? bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi

Of fucking course he'd be back here of all places. Snowbound. The very place he thought he could run from. How ironic. There was a split second flash of panic in his almond eyes before it was quickly masked with confusion. "Sorry, miss. I thought this was a public town. What's a Snowbound?" he asked dumbly, shaking his feathers as he peered at Atbash with an apologetic gaze. It was an easy mistake to make. Not many chose to live out here, especially those willing to form a secluded group, as they had. Or maybe Magik was just used to traveling to free-range areas. It had been a while since he came into clan contact. The best thing he could really do was just get this over with and leave. "Can I join?" You stupid fucking moron. It was a sudden question he had blurted. As much as he hated it, he felt something was pulling him back to this place. Home. Snowbound was home. It would always be his home, even if he did abandon them. He didn't have anything else. His traveling buddies were long gone by now, and his supplies were limited. It wouldn't hurt anyone. Unless they find out. Regardless, he dug his hole and now he was going to only dig it deeper. oof im so late omfg// Re: past the point of no return ♡ joining/return - guts - 07-22-2018
Aizawa hadn't known Leigh for very long. In fact, he didn't know the male much at all before he disappeared. He hardly remembered his presence when Jacob stepped up, as he hadn't joined long before the unicorn left. Things had only gotten more complicated from there, with Atbash stepping up and him eventually becoming deputy. He had never expected to be in such a position. Nevertheless, he would uphold it, even though he was a horrible excuse of a Snowseeker. He regards the stranger with a hard gaze, eyes unusually stricken with exhaustion, edges tinted with red. He didn't trust them so far, especially with them being right inside their camp. From what he recalled, he had never seen this guy be accepted into the clan at the border. "What's your name, first of all," he butts in with an edge to his voice. Taking a step forward, he studies them for a moment, still unsure whether to trust them or not. "SPEECH" Re: past the point of no return ♡ joining/return - Leigh - 07-23-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — Magikatricks mentally kicks himself. Duh- of course they'd need his name. You dumbass. The vulture holds back a retort to the voice in his head before looking to Aizawa. He looks vaguely familiar, but he can't recall much about the male. The bird dips his head quickly in apology. "Sorry man- uh, it's Magikatricks. You can call me Magika or Mag or whatever." he chirped with a shrug. He didn't care much about what he was called. Unless it was dumbass, or stupid, or loser- you get the picture. "We're just a group of animals that live together." Atbash added onto Aizawa's response, shrugging a bit. Her tone held an air of amusement as she spoke. It was honestly kind of funny, really; how strange was it for a group of different species to live together? Then again, it was practically the same back home. One of the few similarities Earth had with Dimension FiveX. "But yeah, of course you can join! I'm Atbash Cipher, the Hailcaller." She chirped. "Er, well, the leader." She supposed that was kind of hard to guess. "Would you like hot chocolate or something?" Magikatricks wasn't out in the cold like most people were, so perhaps not. bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi

They were just one big tight-knit family, and even if they hit some rough patches, everyone had each other's backs. It was calming to know Snowbound was as peaceful as ever. His nerves dropped and gave way to a childlike eagerness he hadn't felt since the first time he soared through the clouds. Hot chocolate. Magika was still as much of a sucker for cocoa. Nothing really had changed other than outward appearances and names it seemed. "Fuck yeah- um- yes, please. I'd love some cocoa." he answered, a hot flush washing over his face. Thankfully, having naturally red feathers masked the obvious embarrassment. //Retro injuries Atbash's face lit up as Magikatricks accepted the offer, and the she-cat bounded off towards the Banquet Hall. "Come on! I can get you some in our Banquet Hall." She chirped. "It's basically an area where everybody meets. Maybe you'll meet some other faces here." She went on to explain, briefly looking back to see if the vulture was following her. bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi

Would he get a house too? Maybe something a little out of the way with a bit of land. He could pick up where he left off and keep trying to grow stuff. If bushes and grass could bloom, then Magika would be damned if he gave up on his dreams of a garden. "Sounds exciting. Do you guys do potlucks by any chance? Could be fun." he hummed casually, huffing out a cool puff of air. The chill of the air felt good. Atbash tilted her head at the question, briefly frowning in thought. "No, I don't think so." She responded. "Though that is a pretty neat idea, if you'd be interested in doing one sometime!" That was actually a unique idea, if she was honest. bio | female | hailcaller [leader] of snowbound © madi
