HEAL GODS WITH BANDAIDS - joining, o - RENEGADE - 07-10-2018

That was a lot of water. Christ, that was a hell of a lot of water. It shouldn't be that big of a surprise but when he had first started down the railroad tracks, he had expected a bit more dirt when he reached the island. Looking back, it was a pretty dumb expectation. Oh well, it was too late for him to go back and by too late, Renegade's too tired to keep moving. He's been running around for the last week trying to get some assholes off of his tail.

Halting at the foot of the island, the tan-colored cat looks around. It wasn't that big of a shithole. Hell, he always wanted to live on an island and now was a good time as any to hide away from the mainland. The walk to and from, however, was no relaxing endeavor.

"3 damn miles," huffs out the tom flicking some of the dirt off of his front paw. Putting his paw down, he takes a few more steps forward before stopping. Eh, it probably wasn't a good idea to just waltz onto someone else's turf. Renegade could handle himself just fine but he really wasn't looking to sprint down the railroad tracks if the inhabitants proved to be too much. Waiting for a moment, the cat's eyes wander over to the rusty locomotive and the wooden sign posted by it.

"The Typhoon"

Scanning the area, the feline walks over to the sign and skull. It wasn't the most welcoming decoration was it? A skull with a snake for a tongue. Jesus, what the hell did the rest of the place look like? Maybe they just hadn't taken the Halloween decorations down yet? Nah, that was pretty stupid. It looked like he had just hopped from one frying pan into another. Whatever. He was looking for discrete and he doubted these dipshits would be running their mouths anytime soon.

Renegade turns his attention to the bell hanging over the gates. A doorbell, how convenient. Forgetting about the skull, the cat saunters over with his black tail flicking lazily behind him. He rises up on his hindlegs to give one of the bells a strong whack. Dropping back down, the cat takes a few steps back to wait for someone to meander over. Hopefully it wouldn't take long. He can't imagine they get too many visitors out here.

You will always be a monster, there is no turning back from it.
But what type of monster you become is entirely up to you -

clean up after the tsunami was still on going, many still hopeful of finding lost possessions but it seemed nature sudden cruel fortune had truly come in and swept away many lifetimes of memories - lucifer had only been fortunate in being new enough returning he had little to nothing moved back to lose.

The solid sound of ringing drew the attention of the God as the dark dragon careened overhead still scanning wreckage further afield in case anyone was trapped, but a slight tilt and those massive star stained wings carried him towards the noise, it seemed even with the destruction, they would always have strangers at their doors.

Said wings spanned outward as he dived to land slowly, flaring up in a single flap as he did before they settled back against the black expanse of his back - Lucifer's attention turned to just whom had summoned their attention.

A tan coloured feline - Lucifer inclined his head to the stranger "what business do you have here, stranger?" was queried in a neutral tone, neither annoyed or over joyful, such was the day to day of the job.

The recent problems that the Typhoon was currently facing was tempting Pincher to just want to flip off Mother Nature for her sudden desire to try and strike his entire crew down. He wasn't sure why or how but the attack felt intentional. As if someone out there had tempted fate and caused the sudden towering wall of oceanic salt water to push and flood the bay area where their camp belonged. Luckily, no one had lost a life or well, not for long. Roxanne, his sister had been caught by the wave and killed but had recently returned in a new form despite the scare she had given with her torn wings. It had taken an emotional toll on everyone, their items all swept up by the water and storm that had decided to form and rip apart whatever they had tried to establish when settling on the land. The very submarine and the headquarters of Pincher's workspace had been rather damaged, pushed more into land than where it had previously been and the male desired to return it to where it was located between the ship and the tavern. How exactly? He wasn't entirely sure but if there was one thing that Pincher was and that was he was stubborn and always had a plan to make situations go his way.

The male had been rummaging a few yards away from the only border that Pincher had to secure from creatures that did not belong to the Typhoon. The perks of the island were that it was surrounded by water with only one strip of land connecting it to the rest of the world and this allowed for a decent amount of safety from invasions unless someone wanted to cram into a boat and sail on the rough unforgiving sea currents that surrounded the Typhoon. His mind often was edged with paranoia for those kinds of situations but he trusted that they would not be attacked anytime soon or at least tried to convince himself as he was picking up some dry sticks in his jaws and placing them in a simple brown potato sack to go make a quick fire to cook food for his crewmates. However, his attention was captured by the familiar ring of the bells of the singular border and his velvety ears pricked, turning towards the direction before dropping the bag in a secure spot and trotting quickly to see who it could be.

As he arrived, Pincher's caramel brown paws softly thumped against the warm ivory sand as he caught sight of the towering figure of Lucifer, the dragon massive and honestly a sight that Pincher was always fond of seeing. It was good to see the male around again since he found comfort in his security and steady behavior as the broad-shouldered captain halted beside the other male, intense glacier blue eyes locking onto the stranger as he raised a fictional eyebrow in a questioning form as he waited for a response. He wondered who the tom could be but he remained silent for now.

Re: HEAL GODS WITH BANDAIDS - joining, o - ROXANNE R. - 07-14-2018

CANNIBAL QUEEN { .:*・°☆ } ——— [size=10pt]info
There was certainly quite a lot of joiners as of late though she didn't mind it at all because that meant there would be more people to meet and befriend, the horned feline would bounce over despite how much her entire body still ached and screamed at her for too much physical movement. The feline finally stopped by Pincher's side with a grin lacing her maw, the horned domestic would twitch her whiskers briefly only to take a seat waiting for the stranger to introduce himself. The chocolate furred fem would reach up and touch her head feeling her headaches only growing worse by the day, she knew she should probably go to Rosemary to get it checked out but she was much too stubborn to do so. Her back sometimes hurt a lot too but, of course, Roxanne didn't think it was much of a problem at all. She would lean against Pincher with his mismatched gaze still locked onto the male only to turn to smile at Lucifer, what a nice day to be meeting someone new. Good thing she hadn't brought Kalayavan over or he would have certainly had a hissy fit.
