Bastille had shit to do, which meant that he didn’t exactly stick around to chat with the Snowbounders as he stopped by on the border. Instead, he passed on news of the party invite to the first NPC he encountered on the border and kept going. He was sure the message would get to them eventually.

Of course the message was bound to reach somebody, and that somebody just so happened to be Atbash. The she-cat thanked the NPC for delivering the message to her, and she went off to where everybody tended to hang out the most. "Hey, uh, The Ascendants invited us to their fourth of July party!" The Arcticplayer chirped. "You guys can go, if you'd like. I'm sure Jacob won't find it an issue." Even if The Ascendants weren't allies, it wouldn't hurt to go, right? From what Atbash heard from others, The Ascendants was practically almost like them, so why couldn't they go and just hang out?
