rock bottom - o, joiner - fabrie - 06-28-2018
//feel free to skip to the last paragraph;; most of this is just my half-asleep rambling. There she was, lying face down in the sand. The feline was just pretending that she was resting. Why, may you ask? Well, Honey had tripped and faceplanted like a complete idiot, and rather than walking off her mistake, she decided to pretend it was on purpose, just in case anyone saw her. First of all, she wasn't even used to walking at this point. How long had it been since she last moved around? Years, maybe. She was stuck with some abnormal situation that she couldn't even comprehend or remember correctly. At this point, she chose to accept it. Whatever it was, it happened. That was all there was to it. Secondly, her damn depth-perception was all wonky due to the flower growing out of her eye. She couldn't even recall how it got there in the first place, but again, she decided not to question things. It wasn't like she could get rid of it anyhow. At least it didn't hurt, despite where the roots were digging into. It was the same for every other flower on her face; she couldn't recall where any of them came from, it was impossible for her to remove, and it didn't seem like it was harming her. Honey decided that she had enough damn face-in-the-sand-self-contemplation, so she sat up, taking a quick look around to make sure nobody was staring at her. After shaking the sand off of her fur, as well as her bag, she moved along, followed by Bean. Now, Bean was a bit of a pest at first. Being a hummingbird, he found interest in the flowers on the girl's face. That lead to a few awkward jabs to her face by a tiny beak from time to time, since she was pretty much an unlimited food source for that little guy. He was just lucky that she wasn't interested in eating him. Asides from Bean, Honey was pretty sure she was completely alone. Really, she hadn't even communicated with anyone in the near past. It hadn't been out of avoidance or anything; her situation just didn't exactly let her talk to others. Yet again, it was just another thing she accepted. All she knew is that something happened to her and that she was alone. That was all that she needed to understand. She was fine now, and that was all that mattered. After a long walk, Honey came to a stop. "Looks like we found it, Bean," she mumbled to her bird companion. There it was: the perfect gardening spot. Sure, a rainforest wasn't the most ideal place to grow what she wanted to grow, but she had her ways. Humming lightly to herself, she removed a seed packet from her bag. This would be the beginning of her perfect tea garden. Unfortunately, she didn't have a shovel on her, or really anything to dig up dirt, so she'd have to use her paws. So, there sat Honey, blissfully unaware of the fact that she was gardening in a terriotory that she had just tresspassed on. Re: rock bottom - o, joiner - bubblegum - 06-28-2018 [align=center] goldenluxury "goldie" roux — female — the typhoon — tags
the girl hung a bit closer to the jungle nowadays, just because it was shadier. it helped ease her head at least a little bit. though, she generally stayed on the beach, finding comfort in the sand and the sea. she should be resting, she knew; the most sleep she's gotten in the past week was when she had been knocked out. she was tired, but that wasn't as important to her as making sure she kept helping out. she needed to work hard for everyone. she needed to make them proud and hopefully help them worry less. that was her most important job right now. that, and making sure papa was okay. it kept her busy and active around the territory, so she was able to discover a stranger...planting seeds pretty soon after it began.
were they trying to make the jungle even prettier? okay, she guessed. but, she still needed to know who this was. the injured girl moved towards the female with a curious gaze, her walk slow and quiet. "hello there," she greeted at first as she approached, her head tilted. "y'know you're in the typhoon's lands right now? kinda trespassing. who're you?" goldie said next, her voice casual. she wasn't trying to sound intimidating or anything - the stranger seemed mostly harmless. "my name's goldenluxury roux, but everybody just calls me goldie." Re: rock bottom - o, joiner - PINCHER - 06-29-2018 Pincher had never really been a green thumb though he had once tried to plant a few flowers now and then. It had been when he had married his wife, trying to please her in any way possible including the generic "i'll give you flowers" task that a lot of creatures did to show their fondness And it had worked. Or well at least for a while. She had grown tired of the same flowers he would offer and demand to do something "exciting" once in his life. Despite being the strong confident being Pincher was today, there were insecurities that would blossom when he would notice any flowers being given as the constant reminder of his wife ached inside his head. He wasn't sure how to feel about gardening anymore since it had never really been his strong suit but he had enjoyed the ability to have a hobby that was satisfying and somewhat relaxing. Here in the isolated island, the vegetation mostly was one of vibrant sturdy tropical flowers due to the fertile volcanic earth. Some members would bring other plant species as well and so, there were plants that Pincher wasn't able to recognize since they came from other parts of the world. The broad-shouldered Captain was a little far off from where Goldenluxury was, seeking his daughter to ensure she was okay. Ever since returning, he had fretted over her health when he noticed the state she was in when he had returned from the dead, the sea no longer able to hold him down. His bloodshot icy blue gaze was flickering around for her as the male searched for the golden brown bengal, parting his jaws to call her when he heard the sound of her voice. His long forked tongue flicked out as he managed to catch her scent as well as a stranger's. But it wasn't near the gate. It was near their base. A trespasser. His thin tar black needles for pupils snapped towards the direction where the scent was coming from and quickly picked up his pace, coffee brown paws softly thumping on the rich soft grass that outlined the jungle. As he stepped out of his path, he caught sight of Goldie and quickly rushed to her side as he aimed to gently press against her to hold her upright. Without batting an eye, he aimed to softly bite down on her scruff and twist around to lay her on his back as the massive onyx doberman then turned towards Honey, a perplexed yet hardened arctic blue gaze locked onto the trespasser. "The hell are you doing with those seeds, huh?" Pincher questioned, upper lip slightly curling to reveal pale ivory shark-like teeth as he was worried those seeds might blossom to something dangerous. He became slightly distracted by the hummingbird and the flower that sprouted from one of the female's eyes, captivated for a brief second before forcing himself to pay attention. Re: rock bottom - o, joiner - crownedprince - 06-29-2018 i had never exactly been that interested in planting or anything like that. i was more into the photography of flowers and nature, especially of my friends. but that part wouldn't come until later. i came after goldie and pincher, two of members of my family, but at the time i had no clue. i looked at honey in confusion as she put seeds into the ground, though amusement soon found it's way to my handsome features. "whatcha doing there?" i asked, shrugging my broad shoulders to get in a more comfortable position.

the large congragation of his new crewmates caught the male’s attention as he was wandering the shoreline. taking a puff from the freshly lit cigarette that hung from the corner of his jaw, brad padded over with an expression of disgust plastering his features. who the hell was this shithead? the leonberger had overheard his clanmates questions for the tresspasser and decided to chime in with his own two cents.
"who the fuck are you to just dig around like that? this ain’t your damn land, got it sweetie?", the foul-tempered canine spat though a cloud of hazy smoke. brad might of been new to the group, but he wasn’t a big fan of trespassers. after all, anyone could act friendly on the exterior. he would never understood how his crewmates could trust so haphazardly. to be honest, the leonberger didn’t even have intentions to join the typhoon- but was welcomed with open arms. if there was anything he had learned as a nomad, it was that you could determine someone’s true colors through confrontation. it wasn’t a healthy practice, but it worked. brad waited to see how honey would respond. // all ic opinions, brad is a jerk ! actions "speech" [glow=black,2,300]— ✘ —[/glow]
