CROSS AN L OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST | MEETING 6.24 - BASTILLEPAW - 06-25-2018 AND I'M JUST A DEAD MAN WALKING TONIGHT
Bastille wasn't going to miss another fucking meeting if it killed him. Which... well, it might, if only because he seemed to have bad luck. Whatever. He'd broken his no-substances-during-meetings rule at long last, and was riding the tail-end of a pretty good buzz that afternoon as he showed up with a drawled, "Yo, meeting time. Gather up." A pause as he waited, for adding, "This'll be a quick one, so you can just spread the news to anyone who is running late. Anyway, welcome to the raptors, who, well, won't even understand this, but whatever. We've also got Washington, Church, and Caboose this week, and the youngest kiddos are finally out of the nursery. So, yeah. Munchkins should have gotten their necklaces with Gordon, but the rest of you can get those in the June ceremonies later." BASTILLEPRISONER — ASTRAL SERAPH — TAGSA pause. "Right. Pincher invited us to the Typhoon's Carnival, so we should try to be social. We had a bit of talk about training last meeting, and I liked Pele's idea of getting Tangle involved with that, so stay tuned for joint training with them this week. Uh... Let's see, Rin is hosting weekly tasks this week, but Madi was late af with last week's so feel free to finish up those tasks first still." Bastille considered for a moment and then shrugged. "We had a slow week with a lot of noticed, so I don't have any promotion or demotions again. We'll get back to regular ones next week. In the mean time, the raptors have no idea, but I'm giving those four Leo titles for being around in the quiet. If someone wants to help me get necklaces on them, let me know. That's it." Re: CROSS AN L OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST | MEETING 6.24 - Suiteheart - 06-25-2018 [div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 530px; min-height: 9px; font-family:; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; padding: 20px"]Well, Suiteheart was back. Finally. After terrible calculation on Grassy's part, the Ecliptic Admiral would slowly but surely be rising in activity. That being said, the white feline strolled forward, taking a seat near the front for this meeting. She was slightly uncomfortable at this, for she usually sat towards the back. First time for everything, huh? The fae listened quietly to everything Bastille had to say. She had missed everyone but Washington while she had been absent, so she supposed she ought to take the time out of her schedule to meet with every one of them - maybe not the raptors because she didn't know how the fuck to do that. Regardless, she put a smile upon her lips and murmured, "Welcome home, everyone." Home. Yeah, this place was it. She fell silent again as he continued to speak. An event with the Typhoon? As of late, Suiteheart didn't exactly trust the pirates. After hearing of how they had scoped out their territory before dropping the alliance, the ivory cat wasn't exactly thrilled whenever she heard of them. Still, she figured she might try to be a good diplomat. She could smile and be friendly. Plus, she would get to see Lilyspoise. "Noted," she meowed once Bastilleprisoner had finished speaking. Training with Tanglewood would be interesting and weekly tasks with Warringkingdoms would be fun too. Re: CROSS AN L OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST | MEETING 6.24 - Roy Mustang - 06-25-2018
Roy, compared to last meeting, was pretty damn early. The bobcat came padding in, arriving shortly after Suiteheart, taking a seat at the front of the crowd. Ears pricking up, Roy would listen to the quick announcements that Bastilleprisoner made. There weren't as many announcements this week, this week had been rather slow- which wasn't that surprising. So clearly, there won't be that much to announce on. Roy listened for a moment when Bastille mentioned the joiners, raptors, and the children, before the invite to the Typhoon event caught his attention. Roy was surprised that the Typhoon invited them to an event, especially after they decided to drop the potential alliance from weeks ago. Maybe they were having a change of heart, or perhaps they decided one group wasn't enough and decided to invite neutrals as well. By the time Bastilleprisoner finished up the meeting with giving the raptors Leo titles, Roy was at a loss of words. Bastilleprisoner just gave the feral utahraptors titles. They can't even understand English, besides the damn word food! I doubt those things will even know they got awarded titles, Roy thought to himself with a scoff, staying silent for once, giving the leader an annoyed, disapproving glare instead. Re: CROSS AN L OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST | MEETING 6.24 - GORDON CIPHER. - 06-25-2018 At Bastille's call, Gordon quickly made her way over, surprised to find that she was actually one of the first to show up. But of course that still didn't stop her from sitting in her normal spot. The she-cat listened to his announcements, noting how he welcome the raptors that had taken up residence here, despite them not really seeming to understand speech. They really unnerved her, and she kind of wished Bastilleprisoner didn't welcome them so much. But then again, they were feral, weren't they? If they wanted to come back, they just would. But anyway, Bastille also announced the other newcomers that joined since the past meeting and said that there were any promotions or demotions, the latter of which was a good sign. Oh, and he gave the raptors the title of Leo, which was... weird. They wouldn't even realize he did that, like he said. But oh well, Bastille was their leader, after all. Gordon just didn't understand his decisions.
"Noted," Gordon echoed Suiteheart after the announcements were made. She personally wasn't going to go to the event The Typhoon invited them to, but she hoped that anybody who went would have fun. ★ i'll need you to reassure me i didn't waste a verse ━
Re: CROSS AN L OFF YOUR BUCKET LIST | MEETING 6.24 - | AGENT WASHINGTON | - 06-27-2018 Debriefs were always common while he was in the army. Or military. Whatever they wanted to call it nowadays. He knew that with a group like this they were bound to have a time where they conducted meetings with one another. And if they didn't. Well, then that was just bad on their part for not being that organized. He wasn't exactly sure what he expected with this outpost though, considering that all of them were animals and mostly different species of animals didn't even like to be int he same area as one another. But yet, here he was, stuck in the middle of this mess. His ears were hidden thanks to his helmet as he made his way over. He only recognized two of the animals that were there. Bastilleprisoner and Suiteheart. As they had been there with Washington when he had basically crashlanded. He didn't feel comfortable being around other's yet, and he wasn't sure how to really react to a debrief like this. The other was giving out information that he had no idea what to say. His name was called as he was welcomed into the group. He felt like a rookie all over again when he was introduced to the top Freelancers back when he was a human. How did that make him feel? It made him feel awkward. He was out of his element here, but he was trying his damn best to make sure that no one would be able to tell how bad in a situation he really was. The armored smilodon sat off to the side, sitting down with his head held high and his body attentive to whatever Bastille was talking about. When everything was over everyone seemed to be calm with the announcements that were said. He was working on getting on the good side with the majority of those that were around here and his military mindset wasn't going anywhere. "Understood, sir." Washington would address the smaller male that had given the information for the meeting. He could have simply said yes sir, but this one felt more fitting. Then the meeting was dismissed just like that. A,s usual when it came to debriefs, Washington didn't exactly stay for long. Getting up on his dark grey paws as he made his way outside of the observatory. He needed to gather more intel. "speech" [glow=black,2,300]— ✘ —[/glow]

Perhaps a bit, though it seemed like many others also had yet to come see. Now she did come forward, messy and caked in something she shouldn’t be - the acrid odor suggested residual muck from some new medicine, or more likely a hellish drug paste - to listen and catch up in a typical silence. That carnival sounded...neat. “Noted. Welcome, everyone.” Fresh meat, new brains, how fun. |
