YOU WENT DARK ON ME // open, oneshot - ATBASH CIPHER. - 06-19-2018 ATBASH CIPHER how could you just walk away and leave me here?
//Note to staff: I roleplay both Atbash and Caesar! Also small trigger warning in the second paragraph for me attempting to describe what it's like to be held underwater, as well as the fourth paragraph for me trying to describe what it's like to be strangled Atbash had been sure that The Typhoon wasn't lurking around after they moved to the village, so the she-cat was a lot more comfortable exploring the territory by herself. And that's exactly what she was doing, heading out towards the lake since that was where she felt the most comfortable. She liked how calm the lake was and the way the water rippled whenever the wind lightly blew across it, or whenever a fish jumped out of the water. Atbash crouched at the edge of the lake, staring down into the water at her reflection. To be truthful, she never really looked at herself very often. She wasn't the one to look down at herself, believe it or not. She quite liked how sleek her fur looks and how her ears taper to the perfect point. It was nice to look at, if she was honest. She didn't have any scars like her brother, Vigenere, nor was her fur blotted with oddly-spaced spots like Caesar. There were some things she didn't like about herself, like her fur color. She wasn't an ugly bright yellow like her brothers, but the orange tint on her fur wasn't very pretty, either. And her eyes, they were almost like a soulless black. Atbash had started to drift off to sleep whenever she heard rustling nearby, and she honestly didn't think much of it until the scent of death hit her nose. But by the time that happened, it was too late. Atbash had no time to react as somebody leaped at her, shoving her into the water. Bright yellow fur crossed her vision before it was replaced with water, and eventually darkness as instinct made her close her eyes. She could feel claws digging into her neck, and her mouth was agape in fear and pain. Of course, this would only make water go onto her mouth and she closed it, again, out of instinct. Her mouth was filled with water and she had no time to react when the attacker started to hold her under, so she was running out of air quickly. She had no time to even hold her breath in the first place. Her lung burned, desperately wanting air. Atbash struggled underneath her attacker, trying to fight back the pain that shot through her body as their claws dug into her neck. Suddenly, Atbash was forced out of the water and flung back onto land. Her immediate reaction was to gasp for air, but she was promptly interrupted as she started coughing and vomiting water up, her body heaving as she coughed water up. Her fur clung to her body, making her already small frame look smaller. Atbash shook where she laid, and was too busy trying to get air and coughing up water to pay attention to where her attacker was. Once again, her attacker jumped at her and knocked her over, pinning her down. Atbash swallowed whatever water was still in her mouth and blinked up in alarm at her attacker. Caesar? Atbash's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the lithe frame of her younger brother. Her body immediately tensed up under him, and pain shot through her once more as she felt Caesar's claws dig into her neck again. He pressed down on her neck, forcing air out of her. "You betrayed me." Caesar snarled. "You avoided me." Atbash could see his long tail lashing behind him, but she couldn't focus on him for too long. She could feel her lungs screaming for air as he continued to press down on her neck. "You should be there for me, you fucking cunt." He spat in her face, which made her flinch. "You've always been there for me, and now you just fucking describe to be on his side!" He put more pressure on her neck, and Atbash could see her vision getting blurry as he spoke, his voice starting to fade. She could feel her body start to relax by now before she allowed the black spots that were starting to form take over. The last thing she felt before she passed out was Caesar raking his claws across her face and the pressure being released from her neck. //tl;dr: Atbash went out by the lake to relax and Caesar came to attack her; he tried drowning her for a few moments before he took her out of the water and started to strangle and yell at her until she passed out The only other injures she has is scratches on her body from where Caesar leaped at her and pinned her, in addition to the holes in her neck from where he dug his claws into that. She also has claw marks on her face. Feel free to take note of Caesar being in The Typhoon, by the way! He didn't bother hiding his scent, but he is gone by now bio | female | flurryhost [shp] of snowbound © madi
Re: YOU WENT DARK ON ME // open, oneshot - Character Graveyard. - 06-19-2018 COLD NOSTALGIA ✧ Natasha — Snowbound — Warrior
Natasha was not excepting to see one of her fellow Clanmates injured and unconscious on the riverbank. She had not seen Caesar flee the scene, but she had seen Atbash. She raced to the female's side, checking her for a pulse. After she had felt it, she let out a sigh of relief. She would grab the smaller female's scruff with her jaws and she heaved her onto her back. She would then slowly walk back in the direction of the village, hoping to get the Flurryhost back to warmth. © madi
Re: YOU WENT DARK ON ME // open, oneshot - arcy - 06-19-2018 It would seem Natasha had a habit of bringing the injured back just as Izuku is about to leave camp. The Maine Coon had been dragging himself and his injured leg along when he first sees the bright yellow of Atbash's fur. There's -- red, mixed in with it. Izuku jolts, blinking a few times with alarm. Natasha is carrying her, but all Izuku can feel is panic. What'd happened? Oh god, oh god. Izuku hadn't had to deal with something like this -- he'd dealt with harmed clanmates but they'd always been conscious Atbash clearly wasn't. Did the village have a doctor's office? Izuku isn't sure, and if he hasn't been informed, he doesn't think it's been stocked up yet, anyways.
"Is she -- is she okay?" Izuku demands, panicked, as he approaches, tail restlessly waving as he peers at Atbash, eyes wide. She was -- breathing. Wasn't great, but she was alive, at least. That was good enough for now. "I -- I have my stuff in a room, let's take her there," Izuku is clearly distressed, but he motions Natasha to follow as he hurriedly makes his way home. It's just the back room, which luckily has a door. He has a ton of blankets and towels there, and they could set her up next to the fireplace if they needed to. Either way, his place was close and he wouldn't have to conjure any of his stuff. It was just convenient. Either way, he's moving as quick as he can without losing Natasha, even if it takes walking on his injured paw again. He's not quite sure what was wrong with Atbash yet, but after a quick examination and general treatment where he wasn't terrified he should know everything enough to treat her fully. ☀ what was i worth Re: YOU WENT DARK ON ME // open, oneshot - jacob w.c. - 06-20-2018
WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob's family situation was... complicated, to put it lightly. It had never been an easy trail to follow and he knew that his family members were less than desirable, but none of them had ever intentionally hurt him. Well, okay, that wasn't exactly true, but they hadn't hurt him horribly which was all that really mattered. In any case, the smell of blood was something that drew him close immediately and he soon arrived behind Izuku and Natasha. He knew they wouldn't have enough herbs stocked yet to deal with something to this level. He follows behind them quietly, trying to observe Atbash's injuries. He'd caught the scent and he knew who this was. Atbash had stayed away from Typhoon for a reason and she'd told him about that reason. Outside of that, though, he'd also spent enough time in Typhoon to pick up on specific scents, something he'd had to do when he was a lookout for his Babbo. If anyone came around, Jacob had been expected to figure out who it was so he'd done his best to learn fast. He would be sure that all this was dealt with. Right now, though, his focus had to be on her treatment. As they drew closer to Izuku's room, he spoke up, "Izuku, I need ya' ta' get anythin' ya' can that'll 'elp with cuts. Thankfully I think I got the most ah' herbs like tha' but I know we don' have enough since our old stock got infected. Jus' grab anythin' ya' can n' we'll have ta' figure it out. After this, 'm goin' ta' Typhoon myself n' settlin' this." —A GREAT HONOR TO HOLD YOU UP "SPEECH" |
