So, this task probably hadn't been the best for him to do. Aizawa was still trying to recover from his sickness, and Izuku had told him to stay in bed and rest--but he couldn't do that, of course. He should have known from when he showed up after the fight at USJ, bandaged to hell. It was probably mostly the doctor's fault for letting him out so early. But whatever, even if he was under the weather, he still planned on fulfilling his duties. "Patrol over here. We'll be exploring the new territory," he announces in a somewhat raspy voice. He still doesn't look well, but he'd probably glare daggers at whoever would mention it. "SPEECH" Re: and then darkness — o, patrol - arcy - 06-19-2018 Honestly, Izuku was getting just a touch fed up with all of these injured people who shouldn't be up and about. Was he being a little hypocritical? Absolutely. But Izuku wasn't gonna give up mindless exploration for just about anything. Not even pain, which was always pretty overwhelming when he put weight on his leg. Or just did anything at all. This was just how he lived now.
"I'm coming," Izuku's voice leaves no room for argument as he marches over, tail almost lashing as he gives Aizawa a somewhat incredulous look. He wishes Atbash hadn't given Aizawa a task like this, but mostly he hates that Aizawa hadn't argued. Anyways, if anybody wanted Izuku ... not involved, they'd have to physically remove him. This was probably better than whatever exploration he'd been doing on his own. Anyways, he's keeping an eye on Aizawa even if it kills him. And it might, solely because Izuku doesn't doesn't care about his health. ☀ what was i worth Re: and then darkness — o, patrol - melantha - 06-19-2018 [align=center][div style="max-width: 600px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10pt;"][color=black]Unfortunately for Aizawa, Melantha does not give a shit whether or not she should risk offending him by pointing out his evident illness. The only creature lucky enough to possess Mel's empathy and sympathy is Jacob. Which means that as the solitary predator approaches from behind Izuku, the moment Aizawa comes into view, she immediately notices how bad he looks. "I'm always happy to partake in a patrol, but you look like shit," says the youthful wildcat with a pointed look in his direction. Somewhere, deep down, a part of Mel cares about the male's health. But, in all honesty, what is prominent in the female's mind is how inconvenient it will be if she has to carry his prone ass all the way back to camp because he was too stupid to just stay and get some bed rest. "I highly recommend that you stay behind, because if you collapse, I'm not taking you back." And she's not letting Izuku take him back either, because the poor kid is injured himself and should also be getting some bed rest. Mel wrinkles her nose--Jacob is pushing himself and now these two are, as well. She appreciates their desire to get out and be helpful, but at the expense of their personal health? Re: and then darkness — o, patrol - ATBASH CIPHER. - 06-19-2018 ATBASH CIPHER how could you just walk away and leave me here?
"That's-that's my fault," Atbash quickly stammered as she came over, hearing Melantha's comment about how he should stay back. "I-I, um, wasn't thinking when I gave out tasks and I asked him to do this." She felt really bad about it, she really did. But if Aizawa didn't think he could do it, surely he would've said something? "I'll, um, I'll drag him back if I have to." bio | female | flurryhost [shp] of snowbound © madi

The young huntress dismisses it with a lash of her tail as she turns to regard the other female with pallid olive eyes. "It's not your fault," reassures the creature in as gentle of a tone as she can muster. "It's not as if you're forcing him to do anything--Aizawa is capable of making his own decisions." No one can be blamed for anything yet, as disaster has not quite struck. The last thing Melantha wants is for Atbash to put the blame on herself for something as silly as a grumpy guy refusing to take his doctor's orders. People are stupid enough on their own, they don't need good people stepping in to take the blame for being total idiots. Mel thinks there is a good chance that Aizawa is a cool guy, but right now she just thinks he's dumb for not staying home and instead risking his health and the health of others. She is very pragmatic when it comes to responsibilities. Re: and then darkness — o, patrol - guts - 06-20-2018
Aizawa is both thankful and irritated that Izuku is coming along. It's worse enough he's going, in his mind, the maine coon's injury is much worse than his. He was mostly recovered, anyway. He needed to rest his leg if he had any chance to use it again. But he wasn't going to say anything, because it'd just be a waste of damn breath, as he knew he wouldn't listen to whatever he had to say. Instead he watched as others approached, frowning at Mel's comment. Really, just like his former student, he had no intentions of backing down. "I was given a task, and I'm sure as hell gonna complete it," is all he says, voice flat. Then he turns to Atbash with narrowed eyes, giving her a look that has 'Try me' written all over it. He hadn't expected them to be happy about him accompanying them, but it didn't mean he was about to stay behind, not when he had been the one to arrange it. He would be fine. Standing up, the lion pads forward, tail lashing behind him. "Come on, let's go," three people would be enough. They were just going to explore the territory, after all. "SPEECH" |
