That’s not yours! She didn’t flinch anymore, didn’t scramble to excuse herself or weave some quick story. Radeken, her bag filled to overfilling and weighing her down with stolen goods from a room that had been locked before she got her nasty paws on the door, only stopped to catch her breath.
“[color=black]I do what I want.” That was all she had, now. All she clung to. Arguably she could insist it was for her duties as a Halo somehow, but some of this stuff was just junk and Radeken knew that. Knew she didn’t need it. Know there’s probably a word for what’s wrong with me. Oh, there were probably several words, but her job wasn’t to unfuck her own psyche, it was to stuff torn flesh with leaf paste and see what happened.
Radeken stared down the victim of her latest escapade stubbornly. “[color=black]Mine, now.” She added in a clipped voice.
