dream of flying — o, welcome party - guts - 06-17-2018
Aizawa was the last person you'd expect to be setting something like this up. He wasn't the most outgoing, nor was he a fan of big events where people would be crowded together. But he wanted to do something for all the new members of Snowbound, so he had come up with this. In the middle of the main cavern, a large table had been set up, standing short enough for all of them to reach and made of dark oak. Where he had gotten it from, who knew. But on top of it was laid out many snacks and treats, things he may or may not have stolen from the humans. In a corner, a stereo was set up to play soft music, giving it all the final touch. Currently he was trying to think up some possible games should anyone get bored or not want to eat. "Everyone, gather around," he announces, pausing to turn his head and cough. "We'll be having a party dedicated to all the new members we've received lately. Make sure they all feel welcomed and at home," it's difficult for him to speak too loudly, but he manages it, glancing around at all the npcs who had gathered. "There's food for everyone, and if you'd like to, you can set up a few games to keep yourselves occupied," of course, he'd end up giving the task to the party goers, only because he'd be too busy sleeping in the background to do it himself. With everything said, he fell silent, watching with tired eyes as people began to mingle with one another. Indeed, Aizawa was the least person Atbash expected to hold something like this. So when he announced a welcoming party, the Flurryhost's eyes were wide with feign shock (even though she really was surprised, she was going to be a bit over-dramatic. "Wow, Aizawa! I never thought you'd do something like this." She voiced her thoughts out loud with an amused purr as she came over, clearly trying to joke with the male. bio | female | flurryhost [shp] of snowbound © madi

Aizawa was the least excepted person to host a party for Snowbound. So Natasha had been shocked when she had heard the male's call for a party, to welcome everyone new to the group. The female had taken a seat next to Atbash and nodded in greeting to the other female- before she turned to the darkly-colored lion. "This is a nice party you've got set up, Aizawa." The former Assassin admitted, before she made her way to the tables lined with many plates of food. © madi

The lion rolls his eyes at Atbash's comment, softly shaking his head. Nevertheless, a teasing smirk develops on his face, blank eyes settling on the tasmanian devil. "Well, someone has to give them a proper welcome, no?" he then turns to Natasha as she approaches. He nods his gratitude, settling down on the side-lines as his stomach starts to do flips inside his body. Hopefully he wouldn't end up vomiting during the festivities--that would do the opposite of what he was trying to do. "Thank you. At least someone appreciates my work," he says with a playful glance in Atbash's direction. But it's all in good fun. Settling his head on his paws, he watches for any newcomers. "SPEECH" Re: dream of flying — o, welcome party - arcy - 06-17-2018 Izuku never really thought Aizawa would host any events he wasn't told to. Like ... maybe little things sometimes, but he just ... didn't seem like the type to be social at all? So the fact that this is a party of all things has Izuku absolutely mind boggled. The Tenderfoot wanders over, blinking, and looking overall very puzzled. Was this Aizawa? The same Aizawa who didn't let them go to the UA initiation thing and instead threatened to expel the person who came last on the quirk test? That Aizawa? Izuku can't say he's complaining but also -- seriously.
"This is really cool, Aizawa!" Izuku decides to chirp as he approaches, a little hesitantly. a trick? A logical ruse? Izuku's not sure and he's definitely wary. But he still offers Aizawa a wide grin, tail sweeping nervously. Well, there had been a lot of newcomers lately! Izuku just hoped they stuck around. Right -- food!! Games!! Food!! When had Izuku eaten last? He's really not sure, but he did have a tendency to gorge himself at these parties. But he didn't want to just eat and do nothing else like he had at literally all the other parties. So what? Izuku's not sure! A game? Chances were nobody would play a game without somebody doing it for them. First, though -- food. The Maine Coon snags ... many snacks. He's hungry and even if Izuku doesn't finish them all off by the end of this(he will), he'll just take them home in hopes that it'll encourage him to actually eat more. "... Anybody have any ideas for games?" Izuku chimes now, having placed his probably conjured plate on the ground, and presently resisting the urge to just gorge himself then and there. It was rude enough grabbing that much food at once. "... Truth or dare? Twenty questions?" Izuku offers, a little more hesitantly. No, don't sink, it's fine, he's fine. ☀ what was i worth Re: dream of flying — o, welcome party - jacob w.c. - 06-18-2018
WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob needed something to calm himself down. Despite the fact the humans were now gone from the territory and Snowbound was relatively safe, the letter he'd recieved from Archie and Pincher's injuries had bothered him more than he cared to let on. He wasn't the most proficient liar but he thought he was doing a goood job of hiding all his stress right up until his legs would start shaking and he would get a few moments to himself. There was no one he wanted to speak with about everything that'd happened more than Pincher but the captain needed his rest and Jacob couldn't in good conscious burden him with all this information now. Pincher would recover. Deniz was a strong man, he'd be fine. At least that was what he told himself to keep the fear away. So, when he heard of a welcoming party, he was glad for the distraction from his troubles and made his way over with a light smile graving his maw. He probably looked rather tired, seeing as he'd been staying up rather late, but he hoped he at least looked content or happy, even. "This is an real neat idea, Aizawa. 'S good ta' have a proper welcome since things were so chaotic," the man stated before glancing towards Izuku's suggestion and nodding. "Truth or dare sounds like it'd be fun." —A GREAT HONOR TO HOLD YOU UP "SPEECH" |
