I'VE BEEN SEEING ANGELS | OPEN, POWER DISCOVERY - Nayru - 06-15-2018 [color=#6b7e99]✦ ✦ ✦
Did Nayru regret anything? Oh sweet, Nayru. My namesake. My darling. You are wisdom. You are knowledge. You are a golden light. You have endured too much pain for someone so young and I apologize for not answering your prayers. You see, sweet angel, it's hard to respond to yourself. I am you and you are me. I cannot exist without you and you cannot exist without me. Do you understand? You are not insignificant. You are not useless. You are [b]not your father's daughter. You are a divine entity. A holy creature. Nayru. The Goddess Nayru. You've been her all along. I've been her all along. As she stirred in that clearing, the sun dappling her pelt, she didn't think so. She was so filled with a lightness as she rose, head tilting towards the sky. She understood. She finally understood. And where there perhaps would be bitterness - even resentment - towards her own Goddesses for hiding her identity from her, she felt nothing but this innate acceptance of herself. Her destiny. Nayru. She was Nayru. She had never been anything but the entity in which she constantly prayed to. She had never been anything but herself. Nayru was practically glowing with a sort of other worldliness, the mortal dampening that had been locked around her soul shredding to pieces as she neared the basking Chad. She half-expected the sight that met her- her alligator companion not just himself but also outlined in something that she could only describe as a dark blue essence. An aura. Finally, she was seeing auras. She touched him only to slink back, a vision of him stirring and hissing and then rolling onto his back in his own way of demanding her affections overtaking her senses momentarily. When the vision faded, she was met with a sharp pang of pain, her head suddenly pulsing. Idly, she was aware of a trickle of blood that had begun to fall from her nose but she was still too immersed in the fact that her powers had finally developed to acknowledge much of anything else. [color=#6b7e99]"Heir to a throne of nothing," She breathed, voice tight with pain but laced in disbelief nonetheless, [color=#6b7e99]"A lie... A lie... Goddesses, I'm so much more." And that was when the panic set in. First of all, she had just had a vision of the future. Chad was awake now and, as she had seen, hissed merrily before rolling onto his back just as he had when she touched him. She only stared in awe at him, the blood still dripping from her nose and her head still pounding incessantly. [color=#6b7e99]"How did I do that? What? What? Why now? I'm... a Goddess? No... I can't be. I can't be!" She was breathing fast now, not believing any of what was happening to her. How could she? Enlightened as she had been by such a discovery, she was still a child. To be told out of the blue that you were a goddess was a bit world-shaking. Chad hissed at her and she watched in amazement as his dark blue aura shifted into an even darker blue. She could sense the concern radiating from him, could detect it in the slightest changes in his aura. He emitted another hiss and then nudged her with his scaly snout, indicating that he wished to return back to the Ghost Town. She couldn't humor him. Not yet. Even with a bloody nose and an awful headache, all Nayru could do was continue to stare at him, at his aura. [color=#6b7e99]"Would you be proud of me, Mother?" Re: I'VE BEEN SEEING ANGELS | OPEN, POWER DISCOVERY - Raindance, - 06-15-2018 Rain did not recall her parents. Like the rest of her memories, the memory of who her parents had been were blank. However, there was one thing she could recall. The name Aqua. The rest was a blank in her mind. The Rogue had been wandering about when she had come across Nayru. Concern could be seen in her blue-eyes and she walked over. "Nayru, you okay?" tags :: updated 6/14: Re: I'VE BEEN SEEING ANGELS | OPEN, POWER DISCOVERY - Morgan - 06-15-2018
Morgan stepped into view, fascinated by the discovery. Greeting Rain with a nod, the samoyed whispered, "Nayru... Nayru can [i]see[i]." The presence she gave off was different to be sure - more focused than those of most other Tanglers.
Moving closer to the Sawbone, Morgan sniffed at the air. She was bleeding; the dog figured the healer could take care of herself, but he added, "You're bleeding. Do you need something - anything?" He considered moving the blood off of her face for her, but she may have had a better idea to treat it anyway. His muted, dull aura changed its hue to match hers in an attempt to calm her if needed. Hearing the commotion, Victory would limp over with a twitch of her whiskers as her golden pools would rest upon those that were there and she tilted her cranium a bit saying with concern lacing her voice "Are you alright, darling?" She would fall quiet almost tempted to wipe away the blood but refrained from doing so as she listened to what everyone was saying, her pupilless gaze would glow a bit before she finally noted that Nayru's aura had taken a bit of a change almost like that day Belladonna's aura had changed as well. She decided to not say anything about it and would offer her assistance if it was needed, she could still recall how the aura change had affected Belladonna but she tried moving her thoughts from this and instead offered a worried nod. © madi

As soon as Morgan addressed her, her attention flicked from Chad to the samoyed, eyes widening. He, too, had that same sort of colorful essence around him, coaxing out a little gasp from the tiny medic. She watched as his aura shifted to resemble hers, two parts shocked that she was actually seeing such and one part grateful that he had done that. [b][color=#6b7e99]"I can see," She affirmed softly, nodding her head slowly, contemplatively. Blood had begun to trickle from her other nostril as well, the crimson contrasting sharply with the muted cream of her pelt. She still didn't pay it any mind, even as Morgan addressed it. [color=#6b7e99]"A nosebleed will go away." There were bigger, more important things to worry about anyways. Nayru turned to Iota then, her trance-like expression finally fading away to resemble something a bit more concerned. Her head was still pounding and her nose was still bleeding and suddenly, she realized that. Oh. A possible side effect of her clairvoyance? Her father had never told her about that. [color=#6b7e99]"Um.. I'm fine I think... My head just hurts a bit," She confessed, sounding more like herself with every word. There was still a divine lacing to her words but she diluted it as much as possible, unsure of how to tell her clanmates about the whole 'goddess' thing. It wasn't like she'd be treated any differently, especially given the high volume of god-like creatures that inhabited Tanglewood. She was just nervous and a bit hesitant to rush into the unknown. Not without experiments and tests first. Amunet's arrival prompted a smile from the tabby, Nayru immediately feeling more comfortable now that her unofficial mother-figure was here. [color=#6b7e99]"My divine power finally came in," She explained in that soft, wavering voice of hers. Hopefully, Amunet would understood what she meant by 'divine power'. If anyone was going to learn about her new status as a goddess first, she figured it'd either be Fenris or Amunet. Victory and war. A sudden wave of satisfaction washed over her as she realized that their tiny family represented wisdom, war, and victory respectfully. How fitting, she thought to herself, how perfect. When the weak court death, They find it - even the smallest scent of blood on the wind caught growing concern from him, honed as he was to even detect that through the swamps natural murk - a scent long since used to but still - the War God wasn't far behind victory, padding swiftly into view, a nod to Iota and Morgan, brushing against Amunet and hovering with concern over tiny Nayru with a worried rumble at the sight of blood before the words around him registered and he blinked - smile quirking up at the edges of dangerous teeth "well then, congratulations" war rumbled before his head dipped down checking Nayru over more closely "are you sure you're alright?" as ever overprotective of this small family unit. Nosebleed or not, she was still quite concerned. Sure, she could have a limb and wing broken with her not caring at all about herself but if someone else so much as bled well then, of course, her maternal instincts would kick in. What Nayru said next made her smile a bit more and her ears would twitch for a moment as she looked at her daughter with her honey-like pools "Oh Nayru. That's wonderful," There was Fenris, her, and Nayru being Gods and well, if she had known that Nayru was Wisdom well, Victory was happy to have quite the perfect little family. She could feel Fenris' presence, mainly because the warmth that always pulsated off of him, she would lean against the draconic beast. Good thing, Fenris had voiced his concerns or else Amunet would have asked the same. She cared for her daughter after all. Her gaze would shift over in the direction of Ska'arq and she would keep on her smile "Ah yes but, parents do tend to show the most concern despite it being the tiniest of cuts." She finally said nudging Fen playfully. © madi
