Izuku was. Kind of intimidated. By the sheer number of old classmates that'd been showing up lately. Izuku had reasons for that, of course -- for one, everyone was dead. That shouldn't be happening. What'd happened to everyone else? Izuku couldn't be sure, nobody told him anything, and boy if he wasn't afraid. For two, why only now?? Izuku had spent months in the wilds, and then in his old group, and then there was Todoroki. Now, hes' being bombarded, and Izuku just. Doesn't know how to handle that. He's so different from how his classmates remember him. So many new fears and responses and just -- everything. So. Yeah, Izuku isn't having a good time.
It's on this day, however, that Izuku has wandered outside of Snowbound again. He needs a break from the humans and he's not going to the Typhoon right now. They're not horrible but Izuku just doesn't like their territory at all. He's ... not really sure what he's looking for, honestly. Herbs, prey? Stuff to bring home without worry about it being infected? Definitely herbs though, Izuku needs to make more pastes. ... He doesn't even like hunting prey, it was too bloody. Fish was okay, though. Uh -- right, herbs. The green maine coon's tail swishes as he stoops down to inspect some flower he cant make heads or tails of, considering his eyes. ... Looks familiar, from the book. Izuku sniffs it before he plucks it and unceremoniously shoves it in his bag. Then he stands up, all green-furred, messy glory, looking entirely lost. Right, uh -- does he scent somebody? He thinks so? The bleary-eyed maine coon looks about, blinking.
