It's a good idea to leave your troubles— Dale Cooper was brand new to The Ascendants so maybe he wasn't the best to be welcoming someone to the group. But, here he was, gazing at this odd individual with an interested grin. "That it is. Im Dale cooper, who may you be?" asked the dog, watching the other with caution. —at home when operating a vehicle. "SPEECH" Re: WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING // o, joining - radeken - 06-12-2018 No, this is Snowbound. Can’t you tell? She kept it to herself because she didn’t want to be yelled at for being hostile to newcomers, but the look Radeken gave Serket was markedly annoyed until it was something else, not really pure-hearted enough to be called awe or fascination and not creepy enough to be called hunger (though it was uncomfortably close). She’d like to pick this one apart with a definite focus on the tail. You can’t ask to milk somebody’s tail - Or fangs? Are those for show or... - without it being weird, so Radeken was already thinking of other ways to get a sample. She stood in silence, eyes traveling lazily from Serket - the things I could do... - to Cooper - hm, stranger - as both Ascendants awaited a response. Re: WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING // o, joining - Character Graveyard. - 06-12-2018 LOST IN SKIES OF POWDERED GOLD ✧ Lunafreya Nox Fleuret
The sight of Radeken and Dale had drawn the Kuiper Corporal in, her curiosity growing. Luna liked to meet every new member of the group so she was here. The female had taken a seat beside Dale and she focused her attention on the mutated feline in front of them. "Luna." Came her soft-toned voice. © madi
Re: WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING // o, joining - Roy Mustang - 06-12-2018
Roy wasn't about to allow himself to stay in that Cleric den for hours and hours on end. While Roy appreciated the help he was receiving from Rin and Radeken, he felt useless staying in there, waiting for his wound to heal. He wants to get used to walking around on three limbs, as Roy is sure there is not way for him to get a prosthetic in this world. And he really didn't want a prosthetic- if he got a prosthetic it would just give him Fullmetal vibes. Once his wound was redressed for the day and re-bandaged, Roy decided to walk around. Rin or Radeken might not want him to do this, but the Flame Alchemist was determined to get himself back on his feet. He has to get used to this, and he can't wait until the wound is fully healed. The bobcat limped out through the territory, ears drawn back to his skull as he followed a clear path towards the border. Walking on three legs certainly felt strange to what he grew used to in the past two months. It will take some more time and practice, hopefully it will come to a point where walking around on three legs will feel normal to him. As he limped towards the border, an unfamiliar scent entered his nostrils. When he headed in the direction of the scent, he came across his three clanmates- Cooper, Radeken, and Lunafreya. There was also a strange feline sitting beneath a tree, with a tail that looks like it would belong to a scorpion. Roy blinked in slight surprise at the sight, keeping his gaze firmly on Serket. Roy would have thought she was a chimera of some sort, but this world certainly has more creatures like this than his old home did. People seem to have mutations here, most born with a certain feature, and generally not created out of a transmutation. Alchemy wasn't that known here anyways, he'd be more surprised if this feline was a chimera made from transmutation. It seemed so. Suiteheart was resting in a small tree, a few yards away. She had been napping, but the sudden voice of Serket had drawn her from her slumber. From her perch, she could see the newcomer - sweet, cocoa fur, a golden earring, pretty eyes. She blinked as her baby blues settled on Serket's tail, and she found herself arching a fictional eyebrow. She had seen a few things such as this in her many days on this Earth, but she was not sure if she had ever seen another with scorpion parts. Lion, goat, ram, spider? Sure. Scorpion? No. Interesting. The ivory cat dropped from her perch and stepped forward, halting beside Cooper, wearing a friendly grin. "Like Cooper said, this is the Ascendants. Welcome. You looking to join?" she asked, practically echoing the canine that proceeded the rest of the gathered ground. "I'm Suiteheart, by the way. I like your earring. It's pretty sick," she added, flashing her own black studs. Re: WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING // o, joining - Margaery - 06-14-2018 [color=#b14767] ❁ ❁ ❁
Centuries spent on this earth and yet, she had never seen anything quite like Serket. She appeared to be relatively normal - earrings, pretty face, a pelt a little darker than hers - but despite all that, Margaery still couldn't help but permit her stare to travel to the tail, vague curiosity gleaming within the depths of her gray eyes. She would not lie: seeing a hybrid such as this one fascinated her, but she had a feeling that asking anyone about their massive, poisonous tail wasn't the best of ideas. Especially when they hadn't actually joined the clan yet. She instead opted to join her clanmates silently, forcing her eyes to return to Serket's face and reminding herself that a lady of her nature did not stare so openly, so judgmentally. She didn't seem particularly hostile but then again, anyone in the possession of venomous fangs and a giant scorpion's tail could not so easily be labelled as 'hostile' or 'not hostile'. At this point, it would be for the best if she continued to not say anything. Her clanmates had covered all the necessary bases anyways, all she needed to do was introduce herself and she could easily do that just as soon as they figured out her business for being there. He wasn't following Rad, except that he was absolutely following Rad because she wasn't in her room when he went to find her and he, frankly, needed a fucking fix. He was feeling dull and muted, that particular apathy coloring his morning quite horridly, and he didn't even feel the flicker of surprise that he should when he discovered her here, actually greeting a joiner like some social, functioning member of society. And if that couldn't shock him, he really did need another trial. [align=center]BASTILLEPRISONER — ASTRAL SERAPH — TAGSHe bumped up against Rad's shoulder as he joined them, absent-mindedly seeking the contact to appease his tactile nature, and let his disinterested gaze wander over this stranger briefly. Hm. Grimm might be interested in that tail, but Bast wasn't interested in much of anything but getting his paws on a pill or two. "Uh, welcome, I guess. If you're here looking for us to join. If not, what'd'ya want?" |
