i'm not calling you a ghost // o - radeken - 06-11-2018

Summertime heat made the night feel thick and alive and Radeken could only keep herself on task for so long before a new excitement drew her away. First it was tidying her storage and then it was sniffing around the locks on the rooms of her colleagues and then it was exploring outside because everything felt so much nicer at night, so much more private and personal, and then it was splashing in the shallows of the Starpool, watching the sky overhead warp and ripple on the surface of the cool water. She hoped she would find something cool there in the water, something a little bit more special than a meteorite shard - she already had one resting against her chest, that all-knowing eye, unblinking and ever judging - but supposed that just being out here to get her paws wet would be fine, too.

Mud was between her toes and the water lapped at her legs now. She wasn't an excellent swimmer, but she could carry herself for a reasonable distance, and she wasn't afraid to keep wading until the water was deeper. I'm not afraid of anything. Radeken knew better. What was a little water compared to all she knew? The wolf stood up to her chest radiating a smug, peaceful sort of energy and rolling a round stone under her paw, trying to make it out amidst all the murk she had kicked up, cutting a muddy path through the crystalline pool. There's unflattering symbolism here, I know it. She scoffed and her eyes rolled so hard they damn near popped out. Radeken was still before submerging her face only to pull it out very quickly, shaking and sneezing and bursting with a quick, clear laugh.

LOST IN SKIES OF POWDERED GOLD ✧ Lunafreya Nox Fleuret
Luna was not a big fan of the summer, nor did she like the heat it brought with it. The nights were hot, almost to the point where she couldn't sleep. For a few days, Luna had been sleeping out under the stars so she could avoid the night's heat.

The Corporal had come across Radeken who had been swimming. The female had taken a seat down and she watched the Cleric swim silently.

The wolf, once she was aware of someone on the shore, waded back slowly, taking her time and feeling the refreshing water dribble from her coat as she tiptoed over smooth stones and sticks waterlogged and heavy with new growth. She only stopped again when the Starpool hugged her ankles.

[color=black]...” It was an insult she was searching for, something callous and unnecessary she could snipe Lunafreya with before sinking back into the safety of the water. Radeken squinted moss-green eyes before she brought a paw up out of the pool and splashed at Luna. Actions speak louder, and all that. Radeken shook herself off, fur spiking from the moisture - an act that was entirely pointless because she, seconds later, was moving back again to play in the deeper water.

[align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 530px; min-height: 9px; font-family:; line-height: 110%; text-align: justify; padding: 20px"]Swimming and summertime were two of the best combinations in the entire world. She had always enjoyed swimming, but when the temperatures rose, it made everything better. She could recall diving into rivers with friends in her younger days. She often took time to swim on the islands at her last home. Those were good memories. Surely she might be able to make some more.

Suiteheart padded forward, lopsided grin in tow. She watched as Rad tried to splash Luna, and Suite found herself laughing quietly. She slipped easily into the water, and immediately, she could feel the molecules of the substance move at her command. She sat down in the water near Lunafreya and Radeken, grinning, and then moved her forepaws upward in the air, which sent a medium-sized waved towards them.

"Oops," she meowed in a sarcastic tone.

Luna was not excepting Radeken to attempt to splash her with water. She had shaken the water off her pelt before she ran and jumped into the water, aiming to splash Rade with more water. Then Suite had sent a medium-sized wave towards her and the Cleric and Luna would aim to use her air elementals to send a large wave towards Suite, a grin on her delicate features.

While Margaery preferred the chill of the winter months, she did occasionally find herself enjoying the summer every now and again. Usually, a combination of the sun and heat made for a rather nauseous and burnt Margy, but on this day in particular, she had swallowed down her reservations towards abandoning her bunker room and decided to have some much needed fun. Whether or not her efforts would be fruitful, she could not say, but at least she was trying- especially in the wake of her currently tumultuous and rather tragic life.

Per usual, the bond brought her to Suiteheart and the others, her copper gaze glancing first at the sky, then at Starpool, before finally landing upon her clanmates. Water lapped lazily at her paws and for a moment, she contemplated retreating and leaving them to have fun. You destroy lives. Don't destroy theirs. Her mind taunted her ceaselessly and yet, she managed to ignore it, forcing herself to actually sate the longing for social contact that had burdened her for so long and take a step forward. [color=#b14767]"Splashing each other?" She observed idly, a smile (albeit, a fake one) coming to life upon her chocolate lips, [color=#b14767]"Count me in." And with that, she attempted to splash all three of them to the best of her ability.
