the hunter becomes the hunted — o, prank - guts - 06-09-2018
[member=590]CAESAR CIPHER.[/member] [member=66]PINCHER[/member] Greed's task had been to pull a prank on somebody, which was right up his alley. He was obviously a mischievous individual, and some of his clan-mates had evidently noticed, or maybe he was just given it randomly. Either way, he was happy to oblige. But he had made sure to wait a bit, so none would see it coming. The others knew he had been given the task and were probably on edge. It was only common sense that he would wait and bide his time. He wasn't really targeting anyone in particular, since he didn't have anything against anyone in the clan so far. Sure, Caesar may or may not have liked him, but it wasn't exactly a mutual feeling. It took a lot for him to hate anyone, after all. It was a waste of energy in his opinion. But anyway, he had long decided on his victim. The guy looked like he needed a bit of fun in his life. When he spotted the leader enter the room, he decided that it was the perfect time to strike. He hurriedly grabbed a bucket, scooped up some water from the sea outside the ship, and balanced it on the cracked door. It was simple yet amusing all the same. Once it was all set up, he quickly retreated, watching from around the corner. //either pinch or caesar can get caught, whichever is fine lmao "SPEECH" Re: the hunter becomes the hunted — o, prank - purgatory - 06-10-2018 Re: the hunter becomes the hunted — o, prank - Verdigris - 06-10-2018 Paper had heard about Greed's task, having been there to receive his own task when Pincher announced it, and as such had been cautious whenever he noticed Greed's presence. It felt like one shoe had fallen, and he was just waiting for the other to drop, preferably not on his head. Maybe Greed was doing that on purpose, keeping everyone in suspense to make the payoff even sweeter when some unlucky sap finally got kicked. Luckily, Paper had not apparently not been the target, as he happened to witness Greed trap the door after Pincher entered the room. While the captain had expressly told Greed to prank someone and thus would know exactly who the perpetrator was once he got soaked, Paper still figured it was a good idea to be hidden from view during the aftermath, especially if someone else accidentally triggered the trap first. Silently, he made his way over to the corner and stood behind Greed and Cronas, watching the door carefully. Vanessa had only met Greed once. And that had been when she had that bottle of wine. He seemed like a pretty-nice guy, though she didn't really know what she really thought of him. She had taken a seat next to her adopted child, who had been greeted by a swift lick atop the head. Then her blue-eyes had watched Greed at work. It appeared he was going to attempt to prank Pincher, because he had rushed to set his prank up when the Captain walked in. © madi

CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. PRIVATEER.
If Caesar hadn't run off as soon as he gotten a task, he probably would've heard Greed be given the prank task and likely would've avoided the Deadly Sin as much as he could until he knew that the prank was already done. But of course, Caesar had went off to do his task as soon as possible, and completely missed Greed being tasked to prank somebody. Caesar had been on his way to visit Pincher when Greed was setting everything up and luckily didn't catch the panther whenever he had been setting things up. "Hey Pincher, you mind if we -" The demon started to call to the leader, trying to give him a warning that he was outside his door as he opened it. Little did Caesar know that it triggered a chain reaction, with the bucket Greed set up dumping water on him and the bucket falling on his face. Caesar let out an angry screech at this and stumbled backwards, his fur coming up in wet, angry spikes as he moved. "Who the FUCK did this?!" Caesar growled, his voice echoing in the bucket as he frantically tried clawing at it to get it off. His tail was lashing wildly, as if he was trying to hit somebody with it (or light himself on fire, but of course he couldn't do that with his powers being stripped, nor being doused in water in the first place). "Get this fucking thing off me!!" Re: the hunter becomes the hunted — o, prank - guts - 06-14-2018
Greed was pleased to see that he had gathered an audience to watch their leader get soaked. Even if he didn't have a good time, they sure would. He turns back to watch the door, but is surprised to see Caesar coming down the hall towards the room. Oh boy. This wasn't gonna be good. He knew the male wasn't the most level-headed, so getting a bit of a splash probably wasn't going to end well. But damn if it wasn't going to be entertaining--maybe even better than Pincher being the victim. Everything feels like it's slow motion as the bucket tips over, water splashing down onto the demon, followed by the bucket itself dropping onto his head. That part he hadn't expected, and he couldn't help but go to howling as he watches him struggle. Something about watching someone get a bucket stuck on their head was just hilarious. "Alright, alright. Don't get your panties in a bunch," he says after his laughter slows to a loud chuckle. Walking over, he slides the bucket up off his head, grinning as he locks eyes with him. "Who did this to you, I wonder?" Naturally he takes a step back, not wanting to get caught in Caesar's wrath if he decides to throw a fit. But it would just be more fun for the panther. CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. PRIVATEER.
Oh, the laughter. Caesar could feel his pelt getting hot with embarrassment as he heard some NPCs - and Greed - laugh at what happened, which only infuriated him more. The Privateer tensed up as Greed spoke to him about relaxing and as he removed the bucket off of his head. As soon as the bucket was off of his head, Caesar tried to lash out at GREED with one of his forepaws, claws unsheathed. He probably would've done this to anybody who released him, regardless of whether or not it was Greed. "Gee, I fucking wonder, you fucking prick." Caesar snarled in response after seeing Greed's smile, regardless of whether or not he was able to hit the panther. His tail was still lashing about wildly, and his claws scraped at the floorboard of the ship. Yes, this was him attempting to control his anger, and it was failing. If only he had his damn powers. As Caesar had fallen victim to the prank, she had let out a soft chuckle, before she fell silent. Caesar was pissed off, though it was funny to see the Privateer trying to get the bucket off his head. The Striker would silently watch Greed pull the bucket off Caesar's head and laugh at the sight of the soaked male. "Hey Caesar, you might wanna head to the beach and sit around in the sun for a while to dry off." Nessa chuckled. © madi

Greed grunts upon being hit, his head turned to the side after the impact. His cheek stings a bit, too. However, despite being hit, he grins and shrugs. "Aw, don't be such a sore loser," he continues to tease, even though Caesar is obviously on the end of his fuse. Turning back to Vanessa, he snickers. At least there were others who were playing along. "You should probably heed her advice. That's some cold water there," "SPEECH" Re: the hunter becomes the hunted — o, prank - PINCHER - 06-15-2018 The risks of pranks were something that Pincher knew all too well and despite having so much experience in them, he was not fond of them. They were tiny surprises and the Captain was not fond of them whatsoever. How would he have reacted if it had been him? To be fully honest, he would've gone in some sort of chilly irritated fit with him throwing Romanian curses at everyone that had witnessed the prank. Yet, when he had entered the room that belonged to Argus due to her being the boss around the Warfare group, Pincher had not expected anything to happen. He had been searching for her in the planning room that had a long wooden table littered with weaponry, forgotten bottles of spirits, and paperwork. His light blue eyes fluttered around to catch sight of the towering ivory wolf but decided she might be outside as the muscular male began to stalk towards the door, his pointed ears pricked when he heard the voice of Caesar call out for him. Hmm? What did ya-" He began to answer in his familiar low voice when the sudden explosion of voices and water splashing cut him off. Pincher's thin tar black pupils grew slightly thinner as his eyes widened with faint shock as he wondered what the hell had happened until the door managed to open wide enough for him to spot that Caesar had fallen to a prank. The one that he had assigned to Greed since he knew how mischevious the male was. A faint chuckle began to dance out of his salmon pink tongue before it became a chorus of laughter, the pirate going into a sitting position with his right foreleg pressing against his chest to relieve the small ache it was forming with all the laughter. "Seems Greed caught your ass, Caesar." the charcoal black doberman commented as he stepped out, not minding the water that was now being soaked by the ship's board. He glanced amusingly down at it as he aimed to lightly flick some of it off at Greed's direction before turning to the seething figure of the Privateer. "How about you get him, hmm? A little prank war wouldn't be so bad now that I think of it." Although Pincher hoped he wouldn't become someone's target since he wasn't sure if he would either become obsessed with destroying the other pirate or scolding them for messing around with him though Pincher knew he should loosen up and perhaps try to join in on the fun.
