[div style="text-align: justify;"]It had already been 2 days since Joel arrived but it didn't feel like that much time had passed at all. In that time, he had found himself a room in the observatory- just a small one, extremely barren aside from the bed, wooden bookshelf, and desk it had within it. For the most part, he had been spending his time outside his room, wandering the halls of the observatory or walking through the territory for a bit before the pain from his injuries eventually lead him to turn back. In all honesty- this place wasn't bad at all. At first, the wolf thought he would just stay here temporarily, maybe for a week or two so he could get back on his feet but... the people here were actually really nice. He could leave and try to find his friends in the other groups that lived around here but... as he had said before- would they even want to see him? He almost thought he'd be better off staying where he was... for now at least, and if he heard anything about two "robots" hanging about in another group, then he'd check it out.

Currently, the male was making his way down to the first floor of the observatory, leaning against the railing of the stairs as he limped along. A couple NPCs gave him pitied stares, which he ignored. Joel was almost at the bottom- he didn't need help. Minutes later, just as he predicted, he made it down the stairs just fine, moving to settle in the main room of the building. Damn leg- he couldn't wait until it healed. It made moving about so difficult. The male supposed he could shift into his Noivern form and use that to walk around instead but he was 90% certain that he would be too big to even fit in his room. Ah well... he would deal with it for now, he guessed. It was fine. With that out of the way, he suddenly remembered that he had yet to meet anyone properly. The only other Ascendant members he knew were the ones that had been hovering nearby after his crash. That was pretty rude of him... maybe he could hold a meet and greet right now to fix that. "Hey, uh, I'm holding a little meet and greet over here! If you don't know me... I'm Joel... so... there's that." Yuck, that was terrible. He was never good with these sort of things.

Re: sunshine riptide // o, m&g - Margaery - 06-05-2018

Margaery distinctly remembered Joel falling from the sky and crashing right into starpool. He had occupied the body of a large dragon-like bat before shifting into a wolf, that body seemingly have taken the brunt of the damage. She had been utterly useless in that situation though, lacking any and all means to offer assistance and too transfixed by the smell of blood to do anything but stand there and awkwardly stare. She didn't even like canine blood! It had the capacity to kill this form! And yet, the copper scent still put her in that strange trance. Oh well, she just hoped that he hadn't noticed.

Spying the canine, Margaery figured that it would probably be best for her to properly introduce herself. [color=#b14767]"Margaery Mikaelson," She extended as she halted before him, stormy gray eyes momentarily studying his leg before flickering back to his face, [color=#b14767]"How do you like it here?" The Ascendants had experienced a high volume of joiners as of late and Margaery, admittedly, was a bit ashamed that she hadn't been properly able to greet them all as she once did. No matter, she was set on righting that little wrong right here and right now via means of a (forced) smile and a generally cheery disposition. Pregnant or not, Basty hating her or not, she was still going to try her best to seem as positive and charming as usual.

Re: sunshine riptide // o, m&g - Warringkingdoms - 06-05-2018

The sound of Joel's voice was cause for pause in Rin's mind, given the relative severity of his injuries and the little amount of time that he had taken to recover. As she headed over towards his call, however, she found herself caught in a quandary of sorts- she wouldn't have thought the decision to send him back to his room would be that difficult, but she had the feeling that he (understandably) didn't like being cooped up, and he would need to get used to walking again eventually. Even so, she ought to at least keep an eye on him, to prevent him from injuring himself again. He did seem like the type to end up doing something stupid.

Approaching Joel and Margaery, Rin waited for the latter to finish, then chimed in, "Warringkingdoms. But just call me Rin." Tugging lightly at her scarf, she added, "How has your leg been feeling? Has the pain gotten any better?"

Re: sunshine riptide // o, m&g - BASTILLEPAW - 06-06-2018

AND I'M JUST A DEAD MAN WALKING TONIGHT
Well, this was convenient. Bastille had decided not to throw his name at Joel in the throng of people greeting him and trying to treat his wounds, electing instead to make sure he lived and got settled into a room and just meet him later or some shit. He supposed that the guy deciding to host his own little meet and greet made that a lot easier for him. Bastille arrived with a yawn, drowsy from whatever mystery pill Rad had given him this time, but pleased with the pleasant hum that was thrumming under his skin. He stopped beside Rin, eyeing the guy briefly before he drawled, "Yo. 'm Bast. You from anywhere other than the fuckin' sky?"

A soft, friendly smile was upon her lips as she gazed at Joel. She had only just met the guy, but she knew she would grow to easily like him. He was nice enough, and he was interesting. What more was there to need? She was not sure there was much.

"Hey, Joel. I'm Suiteheart. It's good to see you up and at it," she meowed, settling down beside her friends. "You're a shapeshifter, right? How do you like it?"

Re: sunshine riptide // o, m&g - GORDON CIPHER. - 06-06-2018

Oh, Joel had been at the thing where they were getting their shards, right? Gordon thought she saw him there, but she didn't exactly have time to meet him. Gordon waddled over, blinking up at Joel for a few seconds before her gaze returned to the ground. She kinda liked staring at the ground, if she were honest; at least it gave her a sense of security. "My-my name's Gordon." She squeaked out.
i'll need you to reassure me i didn't waste a verse ━

It was nice to see that Joel was doing better from the day he was injured. He still had some time to heal, but he was feeling good enough to walk around the territory. The white-serval had found herself walking over to Bastille, taking a seat next to him.

"Hey Joel. How are you feeling?" The winged-fae asked the wounded male.

★  WHEN MY HEART IS MADE FROM GOLD AND FORGIVENESS SEEMS TOO BOLD
Hazel remembered him! He was the first unfortunate soul that had taken a nasty tumble from the sky. She recalled the large group of her classmates gathered around him, worrying over his injury. Hazel had been unable to get Arion anywhere near Joel, unfortunately, as the colt was seemingly terrified of the wolf. She didn't blame him: he was enormous. But there was also Eternalwar, who was a mutated tigress, and Suite, who had been a polar bear at one point, not to mention many others that were large enough to spook the Thoroughbred. Arion hadn't been scared by any of them. How odd.

Hazel trotted over, doing her best to ignore the tension rolling off some people (including herself, if she was being honest). "Ave, newcomer." She greeted, the Latin rolling off her tongue. "I'm Hazel." She didn't bother adding her rank; it wasn't of importance. Taking the time to glance over the wolf, her golden optics caught on his leg. She knew he was hurt from the fall, but the amount of people at his joining and Arion's skittishness prevented her from seeing much. Brows knit with concern, Hazel gently inclined her head towards his injury. "How is your leg? That was a nasty spill from the sky." She asked, eyes flicking back up to his as she curled her tail over her paws. She hoped he healed soon - she quite liked Joel, from what she'd seen of him.
