Unafraid to // open+cupcakes // face the day - jacob w.c. - 06-05-2018
WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob wasn't sure what to do with himself now that they weren't in Snowbound, if he was being completely honest. It wasn't that he didn't have a plan or that he didn't want to work with Pincher to find new ways to scare the humans out of the territory, but the danger stopped feeling immediate. He actually slept for a bit last night, which was something he hadn't done for weeks. It wasn't a full night's rest, he never really had one of those if he was honest, but it was certainly better than the few minutes of sleep he'd gotten throughout the day at extremely random times for the last couple weeks. Now he could finally breathe and take a moment to rest but he knew it couldn't stay that way. Soon he'd have to approach the humans and the feral prey and the lack of supplies all over again. The thought filled him with dread but he knew he couldn't just leave the territory. As nice as things were here, he needed to make sure his clan could go home without having to worry about their own safety.
Whatever would be done, though, it couldn't be done today. They'd get a proper plan together and set out on it in the next few days but for now he wanted to find some way to get to know the members of Typhoon and thank them for what they'd done so far. So, he'd set out on his own personal mission, which was simply to make cupcakes. It wasn't much but most everyone enjoyed sweets and food always seemed to bring different creatures together so it was worth a shot. He spent most of the day making a few batches of them before heading out into camp and calling, "If anyone wan's some cupcakes, ya' can come get some. I made plenty so ya' can take as many as ya' like so long as ya' leave some for other people." —A GREAT HONOR TO HOLD YOU UP

The smell of freshly-made cupcakes had drawn the she-wolf to the scene. A small smile could be seen on her delicate features, indicating that she was in a good mood.
"Do any of those cupcakes have chocolate on them?" Vanessa asked.

with snowbound's arrival, goldie found herself having even more friends to meet. they all seemed mostly nice. nicer than most typhoon members, actually. not to say she didn't love her crewmates - she did! they were all cool. but the snowbound members had a more peaceful feel about them. but maybe she just felt like that because of how jacob was and how her papa and jake seemed to get along. they were friends and she was glad!
she vaguely remembered her very first interaction with jake being with his mama and some other clanmates a couple months ago. he had brought over pretty smelling gifts, which he revealed to be things he had baked, which were delightfully good. so, when she smelled that pretty scent again, she instantly felt happy and was unsurprised to find that jacob was the one behind it. the kitten approached familiar male in a happy trot, her tail waving around. she had a smile upon her features.
goldie was unafraid to get close to the cupcakes, her nose twitching as she hovered over them. "ooh! i haven't had somethin' sweet in forever," she exclaimed, half complaining. she didn't know which flavor she would like, so she just picked the closest one to her. she grabbed in an excited, but careful fashion as to not mess it up. "thank you very much, mister jacob! you make very nice food!" the kitten said in a very gracious, eager manner as she prepared to stuff her face with cupcake.

Oh, that's right, Snowbound was staying here for a bit while their territory recovered from whatever fell upon them. Caesar didn't particularly care of them if he were honest, though he could've swore he saw his sister's orange-ish when he stopped and left them an invite for the rave party Pincher had. He fully could've just imagined it, though; as far as he was aware, her and Vigenere had went off somewhere else, heading the opposite direction than him. "Got any red velvet ones?" Caesar asked as he came over, tilting his head at Jacob.
