Teen Idle ; horde - HUGO - 11-04-2024 Hugo should have been more afraid, really, when Project asked him to go to fucking Cannibal Island after being... Well, Hugo didn't even really know what they'd done to him, honestly, he just knew he was all fucked up now and couldn't send invites himself, so Hugo offered to go. Plus, he was a little curious about the Descendants; he remembered meeting Vale, just barely. The gore creature had been entertaining; Hugo hoped, just faintly, that most of the Descendants would be equally as entertaining, else the Gala was about to be a massive bore. The stepping stones were wet and slippery; inconvenient. Still, Hugo managed to get across without dunking his ass in salt water and making a fool of himself. His pawpads were raw and sore afterwards, but nothing a drink wouldn't quickly fix for him. Vampirism had its pros and cons in that regard; and speaking of vampires, he could smell one here. The scent was strong, too; odd. Hugo had never heard of a vampire outside of the Horde, but then, he'd lived a remarkably sheltered life until his pa died. Fuck that guy, by the way. He plonked his ass down beside the stepping stones, content to wait until somebody showed up. It shouldn't be too long, right? They literally lived on an island, Hugo figured somebody would show up in the next hour or two. Nap time it was then; he scrawled a note in the sand, 'Poke 2 Wake -Horde', and then curled his big paws beneath him, burying his face between them as he settled in for a snooze. He'd earned one. The lion approached the snoozing lynx. His nose curled at the Horde smell, and he tilted his head as a confused scrunch marred his muzzle. The fuck was a Horde vampire doing asleep on the Descendants’ beach after Xanti tortured their Knight Captain? The vampires must be soft. Meteor couldn’t even begin to imagine how there was a complete lack of retaliation–and now this? “You.” Meteor reached out a large paw and attempted to nudge Hugo’s shoulder. The lion’s golden eyes narrowed. When he spoke, his tone was clipped and serious; he expected this lynx to skedaddle after delivering the message. “What’s the message?” RE: Teen Idle ; horde - HUGO - 11-05-2024 Hugo woke with a start, a rather unattractive snuffle-snort-esque noise escaping him, and he lifted his head to blink blearily up at Meteor through his veil. He was glad for the veil, too, elsewise he would've been absolutely flashbanged by the sun and by the bright yellow horns on Meteor's head. "Wha... Huh...?" he mumbled, pushing himself up to his feet and shaking out his messy, nap-rumbled fur, which was now sand-infested and sticking up in all sorts of odd directions. He'd clearly slept good. "Oh... Yes," he sighed, clearing his throat and smoothing down his chest fur with his tongue, at least trying to make himself look a little more presentable. "The Horde hereby invites ye to... ah... Oh fuck I've forgot the words," he huffed, rolling his eyes, "we're 'avin' a Gala, you're invited f'some reason, it's free food so do come, yeah?" RE: Teen Idle ; horde - METEOR - 11-14-2024 METEOR
The cannibal looked askance at the vampire. The Horde invited the Descendants to their Gala–certainly a more lavish affair than any event held on the Big Island in Meteor’s lifetime–despite Xanti’s torture of their knight captain? How bizarre. Mercenaries were odd capitalist fellows, hm? “I suppose if the menu is carnivore-friendly, me and mine might be interested in going.” Meteor shrugged. He didn’t know that Hugo was the very person that Vale had mentioned. (“Wasteful, the lot of them, drinking a chicken and then tossing it aside as if the chicken were simply a container like inedible worthless plastic!”) But he supposed the Horde suffered from too much luxury. He smirked. “You can inform your superiors that the invite was received warmly. Expect a few Descendants at your Gala.” |
