The child was bored and lonely. She had taken to playing outside alone. Though chasing a mouse was not exactly a normal kids game. She was wandering along swiftly. A live mouse screaming in her maw as she moved along. Dropping the thing and chasing it again, she would grab it and tote it about once more.

Then, she grew bored and dropped it. Slamming a paw onto it and letting it squirm helplessly under paw. Tail swishing as she yawned. Slowly squishing the mouse until it went limp.

What a boring day.
