Hold ourselves together // Nesraa - THESEUS NIGHTSHADE - 03-12-2023 FATHER SAID THAT THIS WORLD ISN'T FOR ME
The Nightshade siblings were struggling. Their parents were gone, Odysseus was nowhere to be seen. Theseus was managing, finding anywhere to help, to distract himself from everything. But an empty home greeted him as he walked in, one once so full of life and warmth. With a sad sniff of his nose, he noticed he wasn't alone. "Nesraa? Ness? You there?" he whisper-yelled, terrified of breaking the silence, as though his father was right around the corner. ( ☆ ) I TRY TO PRAY FOR A NEW REALITY! | @ DIO @ teef
Re: Hold ourselves together // Nesraa - Cobra - 03-13-2023 Father was gone and she felt sick over it. Then they took mother and she clung to the necklace that was once hers. Wearing it like a twisted reminder of her loved one lost. It was her way of holding onto hope. A hope that was fading with every passing moment of every passing day. She wanted to feel safe and normal again. She wanted to enjoy her books or write her poetry. Yet, she could hardly look at her journal without ruining the pages with bitter tears of anger and loss.
Nesraa had shut down and most could see it. It was so obvious to the naked eye. The cub was never outside. Never seen. She just lay in her place at home. Numb and sorrowful. Perhaps what they say is true. Tragedy makes a poet divine. Alas, it had not struck her yet, but perhaps it would. The footfalls of her siblings were nearly missed and she looked up at a voices call. Hushed as though whatever took their parents, and likely their sister, would snatched them for speaking. The girl opened her mouth and forced the words out. "You will find me near, as i have always been here." Her voice was soft. Broken and sore sounding. Likely from all her sobbing. actions | "speech" | attacking ✎ are you listening yet? Her poetic response would have made him smile, if it were not for her tone. The boy fumbled over to her voice, mane falling before his eyes before he swept it aside. "Thank- Oh, Thank everything." He nearly sobbed, already fearing he would lose her too. Upon seeing her sorrowful state, he tried to pull her into a hug. Whether or not he was successful, he looked at her. "How've you been holding up..?" He found himself starting to stare at a window, and there was a glimmer of hope that, somehow, his family would show up. It was a stupid thought. Re: Hold ourselves together // Nesraa - Cobra - 03-17-2023 The way he came over. His words as he spoke. He was tired and worn as she was. He was hurting and she felt guilty now. As he pulled her into a hug, she pressed her face into his chest. Tears stinging her eyes once again as his words sunk in. He was worried for her and she knew it. He shouldn't have to worry over her. She pulled her head back to meet his gaze.
"Time heals all wounds, but the sorrow has consumed." She answered before attempting to lick his shoulder. Wanting to offer a small bit of comfort. "Will you be okay? I dont want your world to be grey." The woman asked him softly. She watched him gaze out the window. She understood why. Hope was all they had. actions | "speech" | attacking ✎ are you listening yet? |
