now all that is left // o - joining - valo-kas - 03-18-2018 this place was wet and it was hard for valo-kas to tell whether the ooze spattered across their coat and their limbs was the standard travel gunk or their own putrid candy-slime without checking frequently. thinking was hard right now. checking frequently meant stumbling over their own mud-slick feet frequently meant more mud and more slime meant that, essentially, the creature encroaching upon tanglewood territory looked like it had crawled here from the black lagoon. they personally thought it was the sexiest look conjured up by anything with half a working brain and a fourth of a trustworthy sense of being (which it could be argued, albeit cruelly, was exactly the kind of equipment valo-kas was working with after the fall that robbed them of an awful lot of essential memories). chicks, fellas, and everyone else - they were into gross bog beasts, right? valo-kas decidedly was. i should fuck myself. they blinked, shaking their head so as to prevent dirt from getting into one of their three eyes. arguably, they should've worried more about the dirt getting into their open head-wound, but the dull throb sort of entertained them. duly noted, but only after i secure a home. home. nothing really felt like home - in fact, valo-kas was tempted to peg that sense of belonging schtick that people lubed up and shoved down their feeder holes in literary works and other entertainment as fictitious because they were exactly that flavor of individual; if i haven't felt it, it isn't real. however, they did have a definition that home fell into, a fresh one hand-crafted for their own leeching needs: PLACE I WON'T DIE AT. bonus traits being: PLACE I CAN REMEMBER ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING and perhaps even PLACE WHERE THINGS CAN START TO MAKE SENSE. they weren't asking for a lot here, just...the essential stuff, y'know? they cleared their throat, having realized that they had spent all this time wading around fuck-knows-where (smelled like folks, so it had to be a home, right?) without making any introduction for themself. "HEY. ASSHOLES. GET ME OR DIE." they requested loudly, tugging their foot free from a particularly gooey patch of earth. Re: now all that is left // o - joining - vvintersoldier - 03-19-2018 Without a doubt, the marsh territory can be quite messy to travel in. It was probably easy for most Tanglewood members, but it was hard for the cougar. Vladimir is blind, he can't see a thing and most of the time has to focus very hard on his surroundings to make sure he doesn't walk into a crocodile or something that would want to eat him. Actually, most of the time he isn't even traveling alone, unlike today. He generally is stuck to Amunet's side like glue, as she was unofficially his caretaker. He had been padding along with caution when his ears pinned to his head at the sudden yelling. The Russian has pretty sensitive ears, he can hear things easier than most clanmates due to losing his sight. It was a blessing and a curse, right now being the later of the two. He wasn't sure if he should go over to them himself, as he didn't know who they were and they seemed to be quite loud, but he went anyway. Vladimir didn't make the best choices, he was lucky to have Amunet. The blind cougar made his way in, blindly looking to where he thought Valo-kas was waiting."Hello sirrrr, what is yourrr name and why do you need tanglevood? You seem little loud, sirrr." He said with his Russian accent, tail swishing behind him. Re: now all that is left // o - joining - COSMIIX - 03-19-2018 [align=center] Amunet heard a yell and it wasn't the cleanest either, she made her way through the swamps with a bit of ease despite how she often lost track of which way was where. She soon found Vladimir confronting a possible joiner before she trotted over with light steps and stood next to Vladimir staring at the stranger with disinterest, she didn't like the use of vulgarity although this was a warbound clan so she doubted that said language would be refrained from being used. Ugh. Vlad had already asked the questions so she'd watch muttering something in Egyptian under her breath as her python, Moses, peeked out from underneath her cloak and stared at Valo-kas with beady, button-like eyes.
"SPEECH" Re: now all that is left // o - joining - valo-kas - 03-19-2018 “do i seem or am i.” they sputtered around a mouthful of the pink ooze that seemed to drip unendingly from their dirty mouth. “[color=salmon]like, uuuhhh i feel like that’s not a, fuckin’, maybe, or a mayhaps. it’s....i am loud, or i am not.” they scoffed and shook their head. “[color=salmon]yo you sound fucked up also like. blegh. sirrrr, eheheh, what even is that? no. damnit. no i was here for...” valo-kas trailed off, mouth opening and closing wordlessly as they lost themself to thought. “[color=salmon]RIGHT! home. i need that.” the mutant managed, finding their voice again. “[color=salmon]uhhhh, name is,” there was a pause, and they squirmed uncomfortably. “[color=salmon]right, uh, valo-kas.” Re: now all that is left // o - joining - venus - 03-20-2018 [align=center][div style=" background-color: transparent; border: 0px solid black; width: 550px; min-height: 9px; font-family: arial; line-height: 109%; text-align: left; color: black; padding: 20px;font-size: 12px;"]Fluttering of wings from creatures who in a sensical manner should not have these appendages filled the ears of the silvery hued Turkish Angora, their sapphire blues focused on the scenery flashing past their vision. Nature in this forsaken group being something completely unique. Mutated, genetic breakthroughs, the things you could see in Tanglewood were certainly one of a kind in the charted lands and something Venus supposed they should revere. Yet the feline was more disconcerted that if they let their conscious become too enveloped by their studies into the odd creation of man, then they too would be shaped in it's image. Something well deserving of anyone's fear. Ambling along the beaten path Venus had set out for themselves, the reverie they had placed themselves in was rudely broken by the loud and abrasive shouts of a foreign entity already gathering the attention of a few others of Tanglewood. As Venus noticed the familiar forms of Vladimir and Amunet crowding around the form of another more unfamiliar in appearance, sapphire hues locked on to the trio with an apathetic countenance spread over their face imprudently. 'I'd rather die.' Negative thoughts filled the feline's mind as they approached the mutant's form and scowled upon their brash personality - Venus clashing terribly with others who also thought too much of themselves. "You are. Yet you have caught our attention so perhaps your um, loudness, is a blessing in disguise." Smiling bitterly, Venus really did hate to try and show benevolence to those who did not deserve it. Don't be obnoxious. Hypocritical? Yes. "A home however we can in fact offer you, so welcome to Tanglewood Valo-kas." (ayyy, welcome to tanglewood!!) Re: now all that is left // o - joining - vvintersoldier - 03-20-2018 The blind mountain lion's ears pricked up at the familiar paw steps that belonged to Amunet, hearing her amke her way to his side, and then muttering something in a language he can't understand. He didn't focus on it for long, as his attention was brought back to Valo-kas, who didn't seem to like Vladimir's comment that greatly. Because before he knew it, they were retorting back with an insult- one mainly at his accent. If he had eyes, Vladimir would have looked at this guy with disappointment and annoyance at his grab. Vladimir knew his accent was different, but no one really made comments about it,until now. "I rrrussian, sirrrr," He explained with that Russian accent falling so easily off of his tongue, tail swishing behind him. "But you may join Tanglevood, Valo-kas. Velkome, I Vladimirrrr Murrrdock." Re: now all that is left // o - joining - valo-kas - 03-20-2018 “[color=salmon]velkome, eheehee, you sound...so weird. wait, vierd?” valo-kas snickered gleefully. they squinted at the other one, the one with wings. valo-kas made an obnoxious kissy face at venus. “[color=salmon]you figured it out: talk loud means quicker service. mwah. good for you.” the mutant praised dryly. they let out a slow sigh, scanning over the small group again, eyes stopping on amunet. “[color=salmon]you’re the only hoe that hasn’t spoken yet. am i not worthy? do i have to grovel? say hi, shy bitch.” they demanded crossly, words garbled by a thick glob of drool that hit the ground with a faint smat. "Hey, my rad drooly dude. Nice to meet ya!" He would exclaim, head tilted slightly to the side as he watched the new dude. He seemed..slightly rude but he was havin' a good time with what he was doin' so ther wasn't any harm in that? eh. "You look like the creature of the black lagoon, my dude. You look like a hella rad dude with everythin' on ya." Phobeus would give him a grin and chuckle.
