the woman was crunching on some grass. feet stepping along as she grazed. moving slowly until she smelled something. her head lifting, the chinese water deer let out a soft hum. tail flicking as she gazed past the boarder. wondering if they would care if she grazed on that patch nearby. perhaps it was best to move on. yet, that nagging hunger was dragging her back. so, back she went.

stepping slightly forward to keep munching on her food. ears twitching this way and that. looking for any sounds she could find. not wanting to get ambushed. but, still she inched slowly along. pausing to look about as she ate. not seeing anything yet.
