The Devil doesn’t bargain || Devildog - Casphian - 12-25-2022

A sigh shifted past a lightly colored muzzle as peach orbs drifted across the landscape. Icarus rested in front of his home, body fully pressed against the ground as his chin laid atop his paws. The mutt was quite bored honestly, he still hadn’t found his rythme here and thus he didn’t have much to do at the time. Not that he didn’t appreciate the rest but he was starting to grow antsy and he needed something to occupy his time. But alas Icarus also strongly disliked talking to people and thus he was left without much to do.

It wouldn’t take much to reach out to someone and offer his paw in assistance but that was a thought he really didn’t want to entertain. And so he would continue to complain about being bored, more to himself than to anyone else. Which honestly wasn’t all the surprising if anyone took the time to get to know the half demon, well if he let them that is.

DevilDog didn't call himself a social type at all. He'd been alone almost all his life, so he grew to not mind the quiet. After a while it soothed him. He did have a hard time acting 'normal' around others, with his blindness and overall strange looks making him quite the oddball. But he tried his best to ignore it. Best to keep his own mind his own and not spill it to anyone just yet.

His boney white paws led him to wander aimlessly around the town, resting occasionally before being told to move or simply getting up and walking away. He knew he stood out, even if he physically couldn't see it. He knew others stood out. Others like Icarus. The poor bastard. His smell came across the demon's nose and he sniffed, halting in his steps some feet from the other. "Kid? Issat you?" He asked out, ears swiveling around.

Icarus’ head lifted and turned towards Devildog when he heard the other call out to him. “Yea it’s me,” he answered. “Turn to your left a bit and head straight,” he directed to him, wanting to help guide him over to where he currently rested. Icarus pushed himself to sit up, stretching his front paws out before shaking his head a bit.

“What’s got you out and about?” He asked, head tilting a bit to the side. He didn’t normally see Devil that much, then again he didn’t entirely leave his own home much either so it was no surprise he didn’t see many people about.
