SOMEONE TO HEAR YOUR PRAYERS-
Byriath had enough time to think, but now with this, what else could he think of? Zuriela was gone, Solsken had dissapeared (and gods did he despise himself for not going to look for the boy.), and now his anger was building. Anger and fear. It was happening again. He was losing them, and he was doing nothing to stop it.

"Zuriela!! Zuri!!" He yelled as he walked the territory, body shaking under the rage. He wasn't angry at her, but at himself. How could he lose her, lose him, lose them, again. Breath quickened and he swallowed thickly. Turning his angry eyes to the sky, the vampiric lion screamed. "Give her back! Where is she? Where is Solsken! Is this my punishment!? Give them back!" He roared to no one in particular. Anger made him a monster, it made him a raging animal at the worst of times. At the best, he was a shaking, pacing mess. Now, he was a mixture of those extremes. Something had to be done. He had to do something.

Re: not all things are what they seem ;; missing - Romulus - 10-20-2022

ROMULUS MALUS - KINGPIN - COTC
Where had they gone? The question rang in his head often. 'They' referring to his family, his friends, and others that surrounded Romulus had slowly crept off into the shadows and faded into the nether world. Whether that was death or walking into the depths of the world, he chose not to know. With a swallow at the scent of salt, he couldn't help but have the same question run through his head. Dark pawpads cascaded across the ground in urgency. He stopped in his tracks when seeing another, but the struggle in his chest continued on with thunderous pounding.

Calm in appearance, but lungs pulsating, the kingpin's teeth gritted. Ears pinned back in thought as Byriath roared in his ears, anger clearly ruling their mindset. "The scent," came a soft whisper. The quietness of his voice rose into a demand moments later. "The scent... Where does it lead?" Not asking Byriath to follow, nor anyone else, he started to walk off into the direction of the scent. Realizing his mistake, he paused for a moment and looked back at the other. His tail gestured the other to follow.
