The vampire cackled in the night as he sprinted, the world around him a blur except for the creature in front of him that he was chasing. A fox, an unfortunate victim in his thirst for blood. Weaving and dodging his bites and attempts to crush it under his weight. It proved to be entertaining. And Godbrand loved playing with his food.

Finally he ducked to the side and started racing beside the fox. It slowed, thinking he had gone after something else. But he was gaining speed, hidden behind brushwork as he went faster and faster. Eventually this game had to end, and Godbrand had to be the winner. He cut the distance with nearly impossible speed and crunched down on the fox's neck. The tiny thing struggled for a second, but as he threw his head to the side and heard the sickening crunch of the fox's neck breaking, he dove his head into the ground and started to feed.

Red blood stained his maw as he released the body, mostly drained of it's blood and looking withered. He panted heavily, blood on his tongue and teeth stained red with the satisfaction of his game. The game he was playing with his prey.
