Fall asleep and won't wake up // Joiner - SirDio - 09-26-2022
TAKEN WAY TOO SOON-
The creature walked with a steady gait, head lowered until it's black eyes spotted the railroad trail. It's wolfish head lifted and it started to walk, it's movements deerlike and graceful as it tread. It's head swiveled on it's neck, examining the waters around. Perhaps, this was not the best area to call home. But it shrugged and continued on for a while.
For a while the creature thought it would never see the end, but before long it came across the gate. Black eyes stared upward, up to the bell that hung overhead. With gentle steps it went to the rope that led to said bell and pulled. DING, DONG, DING, DONG... and it echoed for a moment. The spirit snorts, paws stepping around when it stopped, hearing, and smelling, creatures underneath. It looked downward, past the floorboards to find the bucket of snakes.
It gently stepped back, black fabric flowing around it's antlers in a gentle breeze. Certainly that wasn't the welcoming committee, was it?

The bang ring of the bell came to Alexandre as they trailed past the railroad's edge, only to backtrack at the noise. Their head turned back. Eyes collided with the dark silhouette in the distance. Dark and alluring, the stood tall awaiting a presence to come to them. It's fabric flowed in the wind, almost mocking the feline to grow closer as it whipped and winded. Intrigued, they turned and adjusted their path.Claws dragged across the beach's edge as they slowly made their way over, curiosity mixing with a sense of responsibility to address the situation. Their paws only came to a halt at the gate's edge. Alexandre's thin face peeked through the gaps between the stone, momentarily peering at Stryker's rotted head above, and addressed the stranger. "And you are?" came their question questioned. The lanky cat merely smirked, waiting for their answer.

The voice made the creature look upward, it's alabaster face blank in expression for a second. Then, it gently smiled, head dipping slightly as it spoke. It was a gentle, whispy tone. Almost innocent. "Kindred. A wandering face. You are?" They returned the question to the feline, taking a few gentle steps toward the gate. It was careful of what was underneath. Though it was quick, it didn't want to risk the snakes.

Sherbet had a bit of pep in his step as he trotted up to Alex and the newcomer, "'Ello, mate. Looking to join our crew?"
His eyes considered the snake trap as he questioned the creature, thinking of ways of making it slightly less dangerous, but keep the core reason it's here and cut down on upkeep. The male hummed as he thought to ask Sorbet for thoughts about it later, and continued, "What brings you here, Kindred?"
