SHUM // Atticus - Seven - 09-22-2022

[b][i]IS THIS ENTERTAINING??
// Retro to storm

The tigress chuffed as she pushed open the door, paws settling on the wooden porch of her house. She tried to wrack her brain to figure out what she needed to do for the day. Lost in though, she sat down before the steps, staring blankly down them.

Mentally she made a list of what she wanted to get done: gather herbs, socialize, try and patrol close to camp. There wasn't much that a blind woman could do in a dangerous swamp, come to think of it.

ATTICUS ROUX -
Atticus could not wrack his brain on what to do today. With all his tasks done, the domestic feline was left with doing... well... nothing. He was well-rested and rearing to go, but had no goal in mind, so all he could do was lead his white paws into the wilderness. Walking was a good way to get his mind off things, especially when travelling to and fro from The Pitt in the past. Even now, as he walked through the swamps, he could feel his mind beginning to go silent.

The male padded along in silence, eyes straight out and forward on the horizon, only to notice a familiar face coming out from their home. They paused on the steps and echoed his quiet ways, but Atticus couldn't help to break the silence. Their mutual acknowledgment for the world's white noise called out to him, ironically. "Seven?" came his soft call. Claws stuttered to a halt against the moist dirt below his feet. "Any plans for the day?"

He dearly hoped he could tag along to something. Boredemn was beginning to wrack his brain, sadly, and he could only walk for so long.

Hearing the male's voice, the tigress shifted her head a little toward him, ears flicking. [b]"Oh. Hello, Atticus." She smiled, tail flicking behind her. When he asked if she had plans for today, she shrugged.

"My herb stock is starting to get a little low, I'm going to try and scour the swamp for what I can.. find? Feel? Something to that effect. After that, I'm not too sure." She stood up slowly, eyes blindly looking to her feet. "I can't really do much with my disability."

ATTICUS ROUX -
At her greeting, he merely dipped his head, onto to realize his mistake. His usual gestures would not suffice. Instead, he listened for more. Seven insisted on traveling into the swamp for herbs, something he could do easily, but for her, things were much more complex. With nothing on his agenda, he figured he could at least offer a paw. After all, things were often slow lately. This could potentially spruce up some further connections for him.

"Hm, I see," came his low groan. Well fuck. Why not? "If you're open to it, I could tag along and assist." The feline trailed forward a bit, attempting to loosely nudge at her shoulder in a playful manner, but not enough to spook her. "Maybe we could even go exploring, get you places where you've never been." Maybe even places where he's never been. Now he was talking.
