A soft snort left her as Chernabog stretched, wings unfurling and creating a wide silhouette. The midday sun bore down on her, but the shady spots within the jungle were a nice relief. Her eyes scoured the ground for fallen twigs or branches to use for her nest, forever seeking to improve it. She wanted it to be homely, god damnit.
A twig snapped nearby and she twitched, smoothly moving her head on her muscular neck to look toward the noise. "Who's there." She spoke lowly, almost hoping it was someone she liked. And there was, honestly, only one creature she liked right now. And he was long gone.
