Break down, only alone I will cry on out -

that word hung in the air around the molly and it hurt to hear it. she would never say that it hurt her, though. never show that it hurt her in the slightest. why would she give them such power over her? she wouldn't dream of it. they could all kick rocks, as far as she was concerned. though, when she was alone it was different.
weak.
their voices echoed in her mind as she left her home that day. paws guiding here off on a boarder patrol. she felt anger in her body for being seen so weak. in her mind, one missing leg was not enough to stop her from doing things. she was just as good as any other member here.
crippled.
that word was like a dagged to the heart for her. she missed being swift and spry. she wanted to go far and do more. she would never be chosen for anything now. she would never be anything more than a babysitter. she was nothing but a little rose keping babysitter and she was bitter about it.

some long forgotten memory made her head hurt. had she ever been something more? she felt like she had held the power in her paws once long ago. yet, she could not recall such a time. the woman found herself standing on the boarder looking about.
you were more.
slowly the woman hobbled along the boarder. no signs of trouble to be seen, but she just needed this time. time to remember. she wanted to remember.
