Clove looked out in the Jungle, or well what was left of it at least. A pang shot through her heart as she thought of the story she had been told. The lioness hadn't been here for the burning of the Jungle but the fact that anyone could do such a cruel thing to such a beautiful place hurt her heart. She stepped into the lush area that remained, gaze drifting across the area as she walked, taking the time to take in everything that surrounded her.
What she wouldn't give to work on restoring this place, but if she was correct it was already being done or at least she hoped it was. As Clove wandered through the area, her gaze fell on pair of venus flytraps. She knelt before them, cooing softly as she took in their beauty. "What precious little things you are, how anyone could leave you here all alone." With that said she worked on carefully scooping up the pair, settling them safely in her pouch before quickly heading back to her home. Once she arrived she set to work digging a place for them right outside of her home.

Clove looked up when she heard another approach. Her gaze followed the women as she drew closer and then dug at the ground. It took the jaglion a moment to figure out what she was asking. "You can help if that's what you're asking," she said, tone a bit snippish but not trying to purposefully be rude this was just how the woman was honestly. She had never been the type to be nice to people just because, even those she was close to she still wasn't exactly kind. Besides kindness didn't get you far in life it only ever gets you hurt.

always nodded softly in response. slowly placing her rear on the earth and then digging softly. making a few small holes as she moved from time to time. stopping only to look up at clove with perked ears. wondering if the other was going to plant something fun. after all, she had not seen the plants brought back. though, if one was to garden, they would likely draw always in. she tended to enjoy such things. no matter the company she found.

as always dug up the ground, making a hole for the plants, Clove shuffled off her satchel. She turned towards it and nuzzled open the flap, gingerly removing the plants before padding back over to the other. She settled back on her haunches, resting the venus flytraps on the ground as she waited. A soft hum slipped past Clove's muzzle, head tilting a bit to the side.

Clove gently dropped the traps into the holes once the other was finished digging them. Her paws set to work on pushing the dirt around and burying the plants, making sure the dirt was packed in there nice and tight, she did not want them going anywhere. Once that was done she backed up and settled back down on her haunches, gaze flicking over towards Always. "Thanks for the help."
