the little cub was wandering the beach. ears perked and eyes scanning the crashing waves. there was a storm rolling in and the waves were getting rough, but he was far to young to know better. this was the first time he had ever even seen an ocean. so, he was not going to give it up. not for anything.

the little cub had no clue he was trespassing or that he was not supposed to be doing so. he simply wanted to explore and find new things to make into toys. he only stopped when he thought a strange smell was close. fear setting in and he felt wind buffeting him as he looked about.

The ice cream tabby was meandering along, taking stroll to calm his raw nerves over how slow reconstruction has been, when he scented a cub, milk scent still barely clinging to them. Lowering his guard, Sherbet kept his stance open and inviting, and began to follow the trail. Coming across a snow leopard cub, his heart broke at how small they were (all he could think of was how any child could be thrown to the wolves so early).

Inching forward, he settled down in a loaf, gently asking, "'Ello, what's your name, little one?"
