We're only deceiving ourselves -
lost.
she was lost and she was mad about it. mad and scared. she wanted her mom. her herd. something. yet, she was alone and had been for weeks. she was lucky to have found a little fresh water pond with tall grass to chew on. yet, she was still so small and so alone.
it was sunset when she peered from the reeds to check for safety. slowly creeping out to move onto the shore. slowly seeking out some grass and starting to graze. ears twitching nervously.
