Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control? -
calypso needed to stop this wandering nonsense. so, she was on the move again. this time without much thought to it. she made her way to the only boarder not blocked by water. it was, in fact, the closest thing to a dry spot this place likely had. yet, the strange woman would stop there on the boarder. snakes squirming on her head and neck. eyes flicking over the land beyond the boarder. did she really want to join here?
want and need were two things. she needed to settle down before the winter claimed her. she hated the cold of winter and the lack of food. so, she would make due. settling there, she would let her eyes flick about for any signs of others. she would likely be found here and she could request a home.

"Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land" ♆ tags ── Scyllios halted in vis steps, eyes wide from their hiding spot as they stared at Calypso. It wasn't much out of shock or fear, but genuine curiosity and wonder. A mane of living snakes... living snakes! Questions fluttered into Scyllios' mind and ve stepped out of the foliage briskly. The maned wolf examined her, then attempted to speak to her mentally, 'You're on the border of The Typhoon, who are you?'

a voice inside her head. the stranger coming up from some unseen place. the woman let her ears perk with interest. the typhoon. she mused as her eyes seemed distant a moment. the snakes all turning to look at this stranger as if curious of vim as well. i am calypso colada. may i join here?
if the answr was no, then she would just move on. as she was often forced to do. alas, she hoped this was the end of her lonely days. yet, she knew she was a freak of nature. mutated to have this strange mane.

"Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land" ♆ tags ── Calypso. A wonderful name for a wonderous stranger. Pearly eyes shimmered and a rare smile formed on vis face. "Yes. Typhoon willing to new crewmates. Apologies for my broken words. English not first." They walked up to her and continued to examine her. She was somewhat like Scyllios, a strange beast with no real key to the world. Ve supposed many were like that.

a welcome into a new home for her. this was a blessing, really. the woman would offer a dip of her head, which her mane of snakes would also do. no need to apologize, dear. what is your first language? she inquired in hopes of finding another language to learn. after all, she needed something to pass time with.
