Now I've told you this once before -
the little beast was tired of others. tired of trouble. the many times strangers tried to eat the little robed hamster was astounding. head tilted as he settled outside someone's home. perched on a stone outside, back to the place. he was looking down at his dirty staff. a tiny cloth in his little paw and a leaf with water on it.
dipping the rag he sets to work washing the dried sand and blood from his staff.
